“My experience with WOC wasn't a typical smooth transaction, however i am pleased to report they dealt with my issues very promptly and worked hard to resolve my order mix up. “Good prices. However the online ordering service was lousy and needed online chat and call back in order to complete. The computer systems at the Redruth branch were malfunctioning badly on the day I ordered. However the products arrived on time and were of good quality.”

“The site has a lot of choice at very good prices. I purchased two items one of which said it was on back order. It was unclear if the items would be shipped separately or if I would have to wait to receive the entire order together. I emailed, and received a very quick response to inform me that both items were in fact in stock. I also felt that the products could have used some more information. For example, it wasn't clear that separate adaptors would be needed to use a particular item on the mains. Having said that, delivery was quick, prices were good, and the range of products is good too. The customer service was great when I had a question but I just feel like more information/detail about services and products would be useful to make informed purchases.”

“I purchased some replacement tent poles following a recent expedition. First of all, the store prices were really competitive, so big tick there. I was less impressed, though, with the P&P cost - I think £5.99 for small items is too much compared to similar suppliers. When my package arrived, the poles were not the ones that I ordered, but World of Camping sent the correct ones out next day delivery, so another big tick there for customer service.”

“I ordered 3 items online but the computer system at my local branch (Redruth) was going through problems. Via online chat Colette at Redruth was able to process my order and ring me back. My order arrived within two days. Great customer service!”

“Great service on the phone with knowledgeable staff who were happy to provide advice. We bought an awning for our campervan which was competitively priced and perfect for what we need. I would have awarded 5 stars however the courier (UK Mail) let us down and failed to deliver on the day arranged . Thank our to James who resolved this very promptly .”
