ORDER-1906-10434242, after 3 weeks is still incomplete. You sent the book THE A-Z OF CLASSIC FM MUSIC promptly but I still await the CLASSIC FM MUSIC cds included in the order. Not up to your usual service. Very very disappointed by such very poor service

Really bad customer service.. They did not have the book advertised on the website. After 10 days of no delivery.. had all sorts of excuses as to why they did not have the book . After several emails , more wasted time and a final threat of reporting them for misdescription and fraud I received my refund. Would not advise anyone to use them

I purchased two CD's and after a couple of days, without any explanation, my money was refunded in two separate payments and I never received them.

I ordered 3 books and only 2 were delivered. I emailed about my missing book and the response I got was quite negative. The first email said they tried to deliver the 3rd book but no one was in. (they managed to put the other 2 books through the letterbox!!!!) I was then told to check with neighbours which I have and they haven't received my book. I was also told to check my local sorting office. Turning out to be an expensive book as I drive around looking for it. Basically I have been made to feel that I have lost this book and its my fault. I should have bought a new copy of the book from Asda for just a £1 extra.

I bought a book from WorldOfBooks in AbeBooks and it's been a nightmare of a service. To start with, the shipping fee is more expensive than the book, although this doesn't bother me too much because the book is really cheap, but still worth mentioning. I bought it on March 23th and the estimated time of arrival was on May 3rd, which is kind of unnecessarily long. To my surprise, it was May 10th and I haven't received my book yet, so when I contact WorldOfBooks support asking for the tracking of the package they said they don't have tracking service and could have gotten lost so I had to search on the local postal office agencies. ...Really? 2019 and no tracking service? When you can go on any other site and got that as a minimum of service's quality guarantee. When I ask them in which postal office the package should have arrived, they don't answer. Is there any useful information that they could give me? Seems not. Getting annoyed as days pass between their slow answers through email, customer support offers me to get another copy of the book I asked or a refund. My answer was that, if they couldn't provide any kind of guarantee that my package won't get lost this time (and it isn't something out of this world to ask for a tracking number or AT LEAST the name of the postal office company that should have my package so I can spend MY time doing extra job for achieving what it should have happened normally in first place) then I would go on with the refund, because losing a second package would be a bad joke. So I've been checking my credit card daily to see if my refund has arrived, and when I asked for an estimated time of arrival for my refund some days ago, they answer telling me that the refund was made 5 days ago. And yet my credit card doesn't show any transaction of it nor has had any increase on the available credit. I know this may be an exception, but is beyond all bearing. Slow shipping, slow answer from the customer support with no useful information provided, no solutions provided. It's sad that a, seemingly renowned book selling website can't provide a service with a minimum quality level. No tracking nowadays? Or can't even tell me the postal office name to do YOUR job? And can't even get a refund correctly? Is this for stealing money or some kind of fraud? Because, with the incompetence that I've been experiencing, at this point it seems that I won't get neither my book or my money back. I would have paid for nothing and can't get refunded. (I hope not). In summary, awful service. Won't ever buy again here and I recommend you all to do the same. Really awful.

Apologies for the issues experienced with your order, I can confirm your order was shipped the same day the order was received on the 24th of March at 13.47pm. Apologies this was not received and information was not communicated with regards to the postal service used, this would have been delivered using Correos. We are currently unable to offer tracking on our items as a service, however this is soemthing we're always looking to improve. I can see a refund was initiated by our team on the 13th of May, Abebooks hold payment and all payment details and therefore are responsible for then processing this back to your card once we have initiated it. I recently received my first order and was very disappointed-the book I ordered was described as in Very Good Condition-it couldn’t have been further from the truth-the front and back cover were badly creased and generally rough around the edges and should have been described as Well Used Not in Good Condition. It would be fairer to be truthful to the Customer instead of trying to get rid of shoddy books under false pretences.

Hmm mixed views about this company. I ordered 7 Walt Disney dvd discs from World of Books on 31st March 2019. This is my first order with them. It is now 13th April and I have only received 3 out of the 7 discs I ordered. I emailed them last week to be told that their items are located in warehouses in different parts of the United Kingdom. Nearly 2 weeks for delivery and I still have not received the full order. Very poor service.

Purchased 9 books described as in "very good" condition. Received dirty, torn, food and drink stained books some of which were ex-library and another the wrong book entirely; one of them even seemed wet. Contacted World of Books with details and photographs, they responded asking for "just two" photographs showing the condition. Sent the photographs and they responded saying that they would only refund one of the books, but I could return the others, paying the delivery costs, (which exceeds the cost of the books). Have contacted them multiple times since and have just been completely ignored.

Went to buy Willkommen 2 German Intermediate course Website picture of second hand book and said CD and DVD also included. Just got the CD and DVD. I went to world of books because I wanted a book not CD and DVD. Spoke to customer services lady, so I can return at my cost. asked if they did the book I wanted and was pointed out to a mislabeled Willkommen 2 book. I told her that this looked like a second edition of the first course book. Not the 2 intermediate course. So someone else is going to be mislead She said she could do nothing about this.

The book I book for my son was supposed to be in very good condition. On arrival some of the pages of the books were broken. I tried to contact the customer service, but no reply. Awful customer service.

Very Poor Service Item purchased was a 2nd hand DVD box set. The item description stated "Very Good Condition". The item received was NOT so. The item came with sellotape holding the box together, x3 dvd cases were all broken and not holding together with each sleeve torn and punctured. I would describe, "Poor Condition". I contacted World of Books, but have still not received any response to date, even though my email was read as I have received the read receipt. Tried calling this company and no one picks up the phone. Was on the phone for over 10 minutes and nothing!!! Very Very Poor Company!!!!!! Be very careful as this company have very poor after sales and frankly, customer relations is very poor together with their items. I would certainly not recommend this company for any to use!!!

This company use the thinnest, cheapest plastic (no padding) to deliver their hardback books and therefore they will be damaged in transit. Their response is to return the book (not possible in this instance as it as for a present). All other replies to my emails were obviously automated responses. I would strongly advise others not to use this company.

I ordered three books from World of Books in October. More than 30 working days have lapsed since the order was placed but the books have not been received so far. I emailed twice to the customer service team to highlight the above issue, but no response has been received. Disappointed with the poor service and unlikely to buy again from this bookseller.

I am very unhappy with the order I placed. One of the books was certainly not in excellent condition yet you refuse to refund I will never buy from you again. I paid £8,84 for a book that was only fit to give to a charity shop. Disgusting, disappointing and very poor service.

Purchased VG Book but received the opposite! Contacted them by phone and was told World Of Books Do Not Inspect Books before shipping and was then instructed to email proof of photographs. I heard nothing back so i again contacted them to get a member of staff to look into it where i was given a refund. I shall not purchase from world of books again. I cant even pass the book along due to the horrible condition. Purchased it from another seller who indeed checks conditions to match description before shipping. Refund still pending but cant see it being a problem. A negative experience received unfortunately!

I ordered three books marked as 'very good'. One was an ex library copy marked as 20p in poor condition and with very loose pages. The other two were well read. I have contacted world of Books twice about this and I still haven't had a reply. I have previously bought through Amazon from them and very good meant just that. I have bought three books which do not meet their descriptions or guidelines for their descriptions.
