“Molly Maids is one of the worst services you can go with. We were quoted a price for a new move-in cleaning and not only did they not finish the upstairs but what they had done was horrible and there were several layers of dusts and dirt still. They then stated they were going to have to charge an extra $300+ for any more time that was going to be used. I emailed the company and have received no response at all. 1. Too expensive and they dont go by their quotes.. Do not believe what they tell you. 2. Their work is not complete or good at all.”

“Definitely would NOT recommend. I was told my cleanings would be for 2 hours, come to find out they didn’t even clean for 1 hour. The floor has been missed MANY times, they do not dust or wipe anything down on the counters. Base boards were missed, cleaning the stove was missed. I’ve complained many times but I’ve gotten nothing but excuses from the owner. They do not do anything their website claims they do. Instead of dealing with the issues and fixing their mistakes the owner told me I should find a new cleaning company. Shame on Molly Maid for their lack of integrity and poor quality of work.”
“The absolute worse service, cost me more money when they finished. These people were dishonest about shattering a light bulb that got stuck in the fixture needing to call an electrician, they pour their dirty mop water down my shower drain, had to call in a plumber. When I spoke with the manager she the workers denied doing it. Cannot be trusted, what a scam, and they didn't even clean my whole house.”
“We are the owners of a house when the tenant left she paid Molly maid to clean for her .
The house was not cleaned to a good standard . No skirting boards wiped or walls cleaned . I would most definitely not recommend Molly maid . In fact neighbours said the girls from Molly maid we’re chatting on the drive for ages x

“Well we moved out, selling our house we had in contract the buyer wanted professional cleaning done. So we had Molly Maid come in. Big Mistake. I thoroughly cleaned house before we moved, I would be ashamed to live a dirty house to someone. The house was empty, no obstructions in any body's way. Molly Maid crew had nothing to do basically yet they charged us over $ 400.00. I would never recommend them, and they also never sent me a receipt as I asked them to. I like to know what they did, no one watching them.”
“I requested a deep clean of my entire house including basement. to me, this means cleaning everything, dusting everything, moving things to clean under, etc. I was willing to pay for a spotlessly clean house. however, things were not moved around, many things not dusted or even vacuumed or swept. had to have them come back and was told that this maid service didn't do the things I wanted done even though I was very clear about my request and expectations. wouldn't use them again.”
“They were not very professional. From the owner to the cleaning team. Very rude, liars and a complete Ripp off. They only worked for 41 minutes and charged full amount. If you hire this company,be ready to hire someone else to finish the job. This company in Cambridge run by Mickey mouse manager. Matt is a total idiot. “They were only supposed to vacuum,dust,mop, and wipe stuff down not move everything around mess with other people's stuff go looking through other people's stuff that isn't there's adjusting everything to make it feel like it's their own house and it's really not they're only here to clean they're not here to adjust everything move everything and mess with everything because it took us several minutes to mess everything back to right way they put food away from my cat like they can't do that leave everything where it is and just dust Clean vacuum and mop and once you're done if you have to move stuff to do those things do it don't do it and then leave it”
“I used the Scarborough branch to which dealing with the office at times was a challenge (language barrier) plus they were late from the set time of the appointment .What should have taken 2 hrs took 2 5 hrs .
Upon arrival they had left my door open and I noticed that things that had been moved were not put back in place .
My bathroom sink was not properly cleaned .My kitchen sink wasn't cleaned My kitchen counter I'm not sure .
Stuff was moved but again no care in the world as to how it was put back .
My cleaning team was 2 very young kids who really had no care in the world regarding the job .
I've spoken with the operator of this office but I have no confidence in the service that provided .
He has offered to fix the issues but I just want a a slight refund .”
“I booked a cleaning for tomorrow June 8th at least 31/2-4weeks ago. They called last Friday and said we’re all set for tomorrow. I said it is not tomorrow it next Sat. the 8th. She apologized and I specifically asked if she was sure they can make it for Sat June 8th & the female (I think Liz) assured me. I also said they could come Friday June 7th & again , she reassured me that they could do Sat & she would call and confirm the day before. Today June 7th I get a call that they can not clean tomorrow (mind you.. this was a big spring clean$$$ and less than 24 hours before the time they were coming!!!). I am beyond upset as I had sustained a back injury & still can not do heavy cleaning at this time!!! I am having company on Sunday so this this extremely upsetting!!! No way to do business!!!”

For the labor work u are better off getting a 3 year old to clean it up that’s how related the cleaning part was. And then they argue with u over the phone . They also use dirty rags to clean ur counter tops . Please just reach out to another cleaner.”
“Crumbs in front of my apartment door every week my mom makes me clean them up tub not clean shower not cleaned trash not taken out properly and I’m breaking out again just like I used to and you all barge in without knocking to see if I’m home or not just cause the door is unlocked doesn’t matter and throw things away that can be run through a washing machine! “I had hired Molly Maid to do some cleaning for me when I move out.When the appt was made it was for 2 people and 1 hr .All that had to be done was wipe 1 floor off and vacuum 2 rooms.I called to confirm this appt and was told it would be 1 person and 2 to 2 1/2 hrs.I was shocked at how I was spoke to on the phone.I was told that because they dont work on weekends they had to make it worth their time.Thats not what was told to me when I booked.The guy I was taking to was very rude.I hope nobody else uses this service.”
“I asked for a move in clean of our kitchen and two bathrooms which are all very small areas. I had payed for two hours for two people to come clean and when I came home both bathrooms hadn’t been touched. I called and spoke to the manager and she said they told her it took them two hours to clean the kitchen. When I asked if they could come clean the bathrooms I was told they could but I would have to pay for another hour. The manager only offered a $10 discount on an hour of them coming back out to clean the bathrooms and she refused to give me any other kind of refund or discount. DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE.”
