“I had an extremely disappointing experience with Molly Maid and would strongly advise others to think twice before using their services. They spent barely one hour “cleaning” a four-bedroom house, which is absolutely unacceptable for the size and scope of the job. The bathrooms were completely ignored, there was hair everywhere, and they didn’t even bother to vacuum the floors.
When I contacted them to address these issues, they refused to come back to redo the cleaning or offer any kind of refund. This shows a complete lack of professionalism and accountability. I paid for a thorough cleaning service and received something that looked like a rushed, careless job.
If you’re looking for a reliable cleaning company that values its customers and delivers quality work, Molly Maid is NOT the one. This was a waste of money and time, and I will never use their services again.”
“Molly Maid was absolutely terrible. Not only did they do a really passive and subpar job cleaning my apartment after my tenant’s already cleaned so it wasn’t that bad to begin with, but they were defensive about it.
From the start, there was a lack of clarity of how they were to obtain the keys, and I emailed them well ahead of time to say I would not be present for the clean so I would not be able to hand the keys off in person.
I realized nobody had contacted me about this the morning of the clean, so I called them in the morning and their manager was very defensive, saying that they don’t normally pick up keys for clients, insinuating a lack of preparedness on my part as if they were doing me a favor. It was in fact me doing them a favour by being proactive to call ahead of time.
Next, I took videos and photos to show the terrible job they did and emailed them, and I received a call back that they offered to come and clean the apartment again. I didn’t want them to clean the apartment again because I don’t trust them to do a good job a second time if they didn’t do a good job the first time. The person who called me back then said that mistakes happen and I can’t expect it to be perfect and that stains and drips were left behind because they don’t want to use harsh chemicals. Every excuse under the sun as to why it was not spotless as it should have been for almost a $500 bill for a relatively clean, two bedroom, one bathroom apartment.
They then presented me with the lowest offer of a refund, and I accepted because I was tired of fighting on the phone, which was my mistake. I ended up having to hire a second cleaner who did an amazing job.
I should not have accepted their first refund offer as it was not representative of the inconvenience they caused me and the headache they caused. For some reason I can’t upload my photos, it says they could not be processed. But I have about 10 photos and 5 videos of the spots, splashes and smears they left behind.”
“Do not use this company ! Hired MM for a move out clean, they didnt clean the kitchen cupboards, didnt touch the blinds, dust still in the corners. Man who walked through with me afterwards was stuck to me like glue and was extremely intimidating. Would never hire this company again.”

I paid $382.00 to clean 2 bathrooms, 1 bedroom, dust the dining room, and living room, and clean the top stove. They complained loudly how dirty one bathroom was. The lady came out told me they would do dust baseboard’s, light fixtures, furniture ,shelves, blinds and decor. Vacuum/mop all floors,carpet, rugs, cloth furniture, glass surfaces makeup or straighten bed linens plus empty waste basket. BS I called bc none of it was done all half done. Then the dirty water they throw on ur driveway.”
“Cancel after second cleaning they just don’t understand what clean is as a company, it’s not that they have bad intentions, but taking dirty water and running it all over a very expensive million dollar home on the floor and walking around with your shoes in the house and not wearing the booties that you were asked to wear, it’s just Unacceptable in my opinion for $220 a visit, I’m better off getting down on my hands and knees just to clean it without having to pay you guys first cause that’s what I have to do after you leave is re-cleaning the floor every time so sad.”

“Posted an inquiry from their website for a move out clean but then my plans changed so I didnt need them, or any cleaning. When I got the call, I initially didnt answer because I was busy. However, I answered when they called again and politely said I didnt need their services because my plans changed. He still tried to ask me how big of a house, how many rooms so I repeated myself 3 times that I no longer needed services and he rudely said well dont submit an inquiry if u dont need it and hung up.
Beautiful customer service there - i would never call these people again just because of that.”
“I was very happy with Molly Maid for eighteen years in an apartment and since 2021 in my house…until July 2025 when the London franchise was taken over with new owners. Since then, my team has never arrived when scheduled and after agreeing to a different day and time several times, they wouldn’t arrive and when I’d phone I’d be told they were out of town on a four hour clean. I felt that they no longer valued me as a client. I’m trying another company as I could no longer deal with their haphazard scheduling.”
“We specifically hired Molly Maid for a move-in clean and were charged over $600 for a job that was barely done. A move-in clean is supposed to be a deep, thorough service, and what we got was the opposite. The cleaners were at our house for a very short time, and it was immediately clear they hadn't done the job we paid for. They didn't even clean the floors in the basement, despite us explicitly requesting that all floors in the house be done. My roommate and I had to spend the following week cleaning what they were paid to do.
When we contacted them to come back to finish the job, they insisted they would have to charge us again. After we realized it would be easier to just clean ourselves, we reached out to request a refund or even a partial discount for the incredibly poor service. They have completely ghosted us and have not responded to any of our messages. This was a complete waste of money and a huge disappointment.”
“Unprofessional- I inquired about their services and of course they called 2-3 times a day until I finally booked a cleaning through their text AI. I was away for the weekend and left my key with the concierge for them to pick up and have it cleaned before I returned from vacation Monday morning. I received a text that morning saying “thank you for choosing Molly maid for your special occasion cleaning….!” I come home and NO CLEANING WAS DONE. They never called or texted to cancel, NOTHING. I just came home to the same place I left. Of course when they wanted me to book they called me a million times but when I voiced my disappointment and concerns nobody called me back, didn’t offer me anything, just silence!! Unprofessional and terrible service!”

I had a terrible experience with Molly Maid and will never be using their service again. We scheduled a cleaning before leaving for vacation, and they cancelled on us just two hours before the appointment. Totally unprofessional and disruptive.
When we returned and they finally showed up, the cleaning was beyond disappointing. The bathrooms looked untouched, no scrubbing, no attention to detail. We took photos and complained, and the staff we caught outside were literally smoking instead of doing their job.
They sent two other young women to “touch up” the mess, and it was just more of the same poor service. They mopped the floors without even sweeping or vacuuming first, just smearing crumbs around. They didn’t move chairs or clean underneath anything it was surface-level at best and careless at worst.
Save your money and avoid the frustration. This was a complete waste of time and money. Molly Maid does not live up to their promises.”

Half spot cleaned and left without even a polite we are finished early. When you pay for some ones time you expect them to stay the allotted amount of time they are getting paid for. Total rip off.”
“Actually the staff of molly maid ptbo and kawarthas are amazing and really good. Its the owner extremely abusive mentally and emotionally. Dishonest and disorganized. She just doesnt abuse the staff but the customers and if they have complaints and concerns im amazed she has any business and eventually run out. If there is a complaint its usually on the prices quoted and the bills people recieve and I have seen it myself in a management role in the company. She doesnt care she feels like she is better then everyone im amazed by this women. She once told me her mother was a narcissist and im gonna say apple doesnt fall far from the tree on that one. “I will never use molly maids again. What a complete disaster. They never show up on time, the office staff is very difficult to contact. The only way to contact Molly maids is by email. I will be reporting this to the better business bureau. Molly maids told me one price but then when the at the end of the job they tried to charge almost double what they originally quoted me. When i showed them the confirmation text with prices they blamed the miscommunication on a new manager. That should not be up to me to cover your mistakes. Molly maids was the worst experience.”
“Frustrating Experience – Overcharged with No Billing Transparency
I hired Molly Maid of Pierce, Thurston & South King Counties for a deep clean of my rental property before moving out. They quoted me 2.5 to 4.5 hours at $165 per hour but ended up charging the full 4.5 hours, totaling $748. This seemed excessive considering the home’s condition—appliances and cabinets (other than fridge) had already been cleaned.
When I contacted them for a breakdown of the charges, they were unable to explain what was cleaned. The lack of transparency in their billing process left me feeling taken advantage of. Up front I told them that the house had been cleaned previously and I did not want them to clean already cleaned items however, they still cleaned everything.
I wouldn’t use their services again and encourage others to be cautious. In my experience, the pricing felt more focused on hitting the maximum quoted time than on aligning charges with the actual work completed.
I have photos and video of what the home looked like prior to them cleaning, however they were not willing to lower the price.”
“We had your service last week to the tune of $200, a small 1440 square foot 2 bedroom and 2 bath house. The cleaning was NOT A PROFESSIONAL JOB. The crew pulled down the bathroom fixtures to clean, probably thinking they had broken all 4 light globes, and we would not notice it, We did, and then they did not clean them in either bathrooms and left them hanging and dirty. I have taken pictures. My airline shelves were never touched as I can take my fingers and write my name. The micro wave was not cleaned properly.
We were hoping that we had found a company that we could rely on. It is not one that we will be calling back for your service. We sure should have read the reviews and asked neighbors for their thoughts on your service.

“Not worth the money. We used them for a move-out clean. We had done most of the work ourselves and so it was just about the finishing touches. They did a terrible job and broke the microwave handle! The blinds weren't dusted, the bathroom was still as dirty as we left it. When I called to report the property damage. I was dismissed and given the run around. The President even hung up on me. Overall, the experience was terrible and I wouldn't recommend them to a person I hated.”
