Argos are currently breaking Scottish legislation. The government state no change in consumers rights through coronavirus situation. Argos have decided to take it upon themselves to change law. They are currently open and accepting the public's money but refusing refund or return on faulty goods. Mary - based at straiton (Edinburgh) store has no idea of such legislation and continued to dismiss my partner and I in a extremely unhelpful manner and found this to be amusing. This will be reported to trading standards/consumer rights in Scotland. And an official complaint put in against Mary specifically and Argos as a company. My family spent £140 on a tablet for kids school work and unable to complet home learning due to this. Now stuck with faulty item and no money to replace.

Garden parasol bought, cracked almost immediately. Customer service is non existent, phoned three times, each time disconnected after half hour. On line chat not working. Lost me as a customer now .

I ordered a DVD player on the 18 April. Paid. I had an email saying my product would be with me on 20 April between 0700-1300. No items have been delivered. I have tried to contact (Facebook messenger, phone...) no response. If I go on ‘My orders’ it still says my order will be delivered on 20 April and there are 36 deliveries before me. I have no issues with there being a delay in deliveries as expected during these times but this is a diabolical way to treat customers. If Argos are experiencing extreme difficulties at this time, they certainly should not be accepting any more orders or payments. UPDATE: Managed to get through to a customer service advisor on the phone - after an hour on hold - Apologised and told me it was the delivery drivers fault. Sent out new DVD order to “arrive yesterday”. No DVD player arrived. On my orders it says, “Sit tight we’re processing your order”. Absolute disgrace Argos. We all understand that these are difficult times - and allow for that but no way should you keep taking money off of people if you cannot deliver the service or goods. You should be ashamed.

Ordered goods to be delivered today between 2 and 6 nothing arrived, live chat saying it is on its way. Absolutely disgusting. Will not shop with them again

Your not listening i know the situation is difficult but other companies are better customer service than you waiting for reps on your line is impossible and instore staff very rude..Time will come soon when things are better and you will be remembered coin it in now while you can people dont use them we used to be bast customer

Ordered an item which was supposed to be delivered by 5th April. Absolutely no communication at all. Live chat always busy. When I do get through tells me to wait 30mins.Worst customer service I've come across

Terrible system, Doesnt take payments, Live chat isn't consistent across the website so if you are trying to troubleshoot it will kick you from the queue, if you can even get in the queue in the first place. I work in fintech and a company of this size having such poor web design and execution/ terrible customer service access is just inexplicable.

Worst experience i had with Argos when i bought a Detail Sander, i went to Argos collection point in Hendon Sainsburys and collected the item and after a couple of hours got home and when i opened the box guess what? The sander looked like it had been used for months!!Full of white dust! So i went back to the same collection point straight away and the store manager told there is nothing they can do because of the situation with COVID-19 and that the returns department is closed, BUT they did sell me a used product!! The only thing the manager said is that i should come back with the product when they re-open the returns, although i came back the same day!Avoid ARGOS!!!

Just had a 439.00 pound mattress delivers 25 mins ago it. On opening it looks like it has been through a builders yard! Website waste of space, along with telephone line both unavailable! We are not accepting returns or giving replacements at this time! Until our stores reopen It was delivered by you,you worthless incompetent idiots! What the hell am I supposed to do with a mattress I cannot use or store for the foreseeable future! Had I known this before I ordered from you I wouldn't have! Now I will say after stopping shopping with Argos for many months because of their p... Poor customer service I thought maybe you've changed! SILLY OLD GULLIBLE ME! Shocking company! Prospective customers beware! They may we'll try to rip you of too. I am about to report this to every review and social website available to me! War it is then! W

Well same as everyone on here and on twitter Facebook endless complaint took my money but crashed before confirming check bank £150 pending to Argos am fuming never ever use online Argos just wish I'd check reviews etc first ! Now praying it's refunded into my bank the chat line phone number is a joke not a very funny one at that !

ABSOLUTE GARBAGE WEBSITE. DO NOT USE DEBIT/CREDIT CARDS WITH ARGOS. Three times I've made individual purchases over several months, only for their website to take my money and not accept the order! MONEY I THEN HAVE TO WAIT AT LEAST 7 DAYS BEFORE IT AUTOMATICALLY CHARGES BACK INTO MY ACCOUNT. DO NOT USE DEBIT/CREDIT CARDS WITH ARGOS.

I ordered a play house for my grand daughter to be picked up from store. When it was opened the plastic bolts and nuts were missing. It cannot be returned until after the pandemic so Argos has my money and I have a large package containing a play house which cannot be built. Argos as usual have supplied goods which are not fit for purpose. They say they don't have any parts. No wonder I buy very little from Argos as this isn't the first time I've wasted money on goods which have p[arts missing.

Absolutely a waste of time, web site down phones never answered spent £190 on dishwasher, the only thing prompt was the delivery instructions. The machine when opened looked like it had been in the ring with Tyson Fury and when you attempt to contact them nothing at all. The help pages tell you it cannot be returned until the covid-19 problem is over which I can understand but I cannot even get a replacement sent so I have a smashed up brand new dishwasher taking up room and no dishwasher to use and also £190 out of pocket, as far as i'm concerned Argos will never get my custom again whether I get a refund is another matter.

Hello, Place an order online to deliver, the website crashed during payment, took money out of my bank account, I received no email confirmation, no order number and no purchase on my Argos account then the website booted me off but my money is still gone from my bank account. Spent hours waiting on phone lines, no answer on live chat. Seen various forums that other customers are in the same boat. I’m in limbo and just want to know what’s going on please?

I order a pack of 3 side panels for my Gazebo. Order no 1536433331. My order arrived in good time but the pack only contained two side panels, one with a window and one plain. There should be two plain sides. The quality and colour are perfect but it looks ridiculous with one side missing. I have tried phone, live chat and email so many times I have lost count and patience. Will I really have to wait until Argos is open again to get this sorted????

Ordered some garden shelves that were “in stock” waited a week for them to be delivered.they never came and only after I waited 45 minutes on the phone was told the order had been cancelled . Never shop there useless
