Unfortunately I have had to terminate my long [over 20 years] shopping at Argos. I wanted them to take my date of birth off my details & give me a pass word or use some other form of ID, Example the last 3 or 4 digits on my bank account details [they obviously know them I have spent thousands of ponds over the years. But recently my identity has been compromised. My current account card went missing at Argos, that was why I wanted my date of birth removing. But Argos refused to remove my date of birth? Or give me any other form of ID. However they did ask me for a copy of my driving licence, Passport, Birth certificate [would that not just give Argos even more details?] In addition to this everyone seems to have my details now, even my phone number, what is going on with all this I identity fraud. At the end of the day All I wanted was to take my D.O.B. of their database [mainly so it could not be passed on or sold on]. After all it is my D.O.B.

I ordered a childs nail salon a Christmas gift for my granddaughter on line and the order was processed within 5 minuets for me to pick up at my local Argos shop. I also saved money the gift was more expensive on other sights I looked at for the same product

Easy collection process returns have always been simple andnwarranty given with most purchases for at least 12 months

Edmonton team manager Tahir still Custermer gift card if purchase more 2 or 3 item separate transaction u get 2 or 3 £10 gift card He tel staff give them one gift If spent more £100 u get £10 gift card I stood had 2 gift card spend £500 in store 2 separate recipes and he give me gift card 4 £10

Pre Ordered the new Hauwei Mate 20 Pro and they could't get it to me on time... seriously? give me the option of just collecting it myself for christ sake!!!!!

Not happy with Tahir Edmonton riverside He making no rule regarding gift card give 2 Custermer I purchase 2 item paid serparate £250+ £250 and give gift card that company policy

Ordered a washing machine on line for delivery had a time 7 am till 6 pm on day before delivery had e mail saying 8 am till 10 am low and behold day of delivery looked on my cctv they were there at 730 am called customer service and what a aragant I don’t care customer service I had was told tough we can try deliver in 2 weeks have waited 7 days already put phone down on me so called back same again can not call driver so do you want 2 weeks delivery or money back needles to say have ordered of curry’s now your loss Argos will never use this company again no apologie or nothing give someone else your money they obviously think there above everyone and are making so much money

I saw a tv advert for some 'Copperstone' frying pans and decided it was time for an upgrade from my old ones. The ad said available at Argos, which is 5 mins from me so ordered them online and told 'ready to collect'. I arrived within 5 minutes, showed them the order no. on my phone and was home with them in 5 minutes. The pans are brilliant and would recommend them to anyone. So simple to cook with and so easy to clean. JML for pans, Argos for super fast easy service.

I purchased children’s toys and items for myself/partner with considerable ease and found everything reasonably priced and of good value. I’d happily purchase from them again.

Argos were due to deliver us a bed today but called this morning to say the order had been cancelled 'by them'. We have just moved house, all our furniture is in storage so we will have to sleep on the floor. The only compensation is the offer of a lilo which we will have to go and collect from a store 30 miles away. Disgraceful.

i recently purchased in store in Camden (London) a pillow and 2 sideboard to be delivered to my home address-they couldn't delivered together (WHY?) so the first delivery, the pillow , never arrived. i waited 3 hours at home for it and then i called customer service and they couldn't even find the order number that was on my receipt! the advisor was able ot see my receipt but he said somehow there was a "missing order on the system"( check Argos Ref number 1282546692) and couldn't find the pillow! he advised me to call back the following day to re-arrange a second delivery as it was already 10pm and their offices close at that time. as advised i called on Sunday morning and spent 20 minutes on the phone- i have asked the advisor if i could collect the item from the store instead of re-delivering as i was on holiday and i had things planned everyday- the advisor said yes but as it was a "Missing order on the System" he had to create a booking order (?) to collect in store (like you do when you order on line) and he said to ask the person serving me to call ofr the "Resolution Centre" to obtain an authorisation to cover the costs of the pillow (?) as obviously i already had paid the £13.99 and i shouldn't have charged again... OK... i thought it was sorted... the following day i receive a text message regarding teh booking collection, i then go to Argos store in Camden (London) and i repeat what the advisor told me to say. The advisor call teh "resolution Centre" for authorisation and, after 20 minutes, i was told it ws not authorised because Argos had re-arranged for a re-delivery the same night ! i was unaware of this as it was not my choice and none ever mentioned it to me! i was so upset i have asked for a refund in Store which was denied because the delivery was already re-arranged and i had to wait after the re-delivery to decline the item and call again costumer service for a refund! so, the following day i receive an email from Argos and i am requested to call custome service which i did! i spent 45 minutes on teh phone and i was eventually able to speak with a manager that said she couldn't do the refund online as they didn't have my card details in it so i had to come back in store! i probe the manager to provide a reference number for this conversation as sinc e the beginning of the whole experience i had the impression i had to repeat myself millions of times with thousand of different people with no clue of what i was experiencing! the manager gave a reference number and PROMISED ME that if i had presented this ref number in store they wouldn't have asked any questions and they would have provided me with a refund! NOT REALLY! i went in store after one week as i was abroad before, i provide the reference number to a sales assistante and she was on the phone for like 15 minutes after which she come back and said they were trying to sort it and that i might have needed to call back the customer service again for a refund! WHAT??? the store is telling me call customer service... then customer service tells me to go in store and over again! after 4-5 phone calls and 2 visits in store i received my refund of £13.99! do you think this is good customer service? this is not the end! i did purchase 2 sideboards together with the pillow and choose a home delivery for tomorrow between 7-11am (order on receipt was 221504848 but then they couldn't find this number neither and a little angel told me the number was now 221524788)- today i receive a text message from Argos telling me the delivery will be between 10-12! again! dejavu! NO! i am losing hours at work and have booked GP appointment at 11:30 on purpose not ot loose many more hours of work for my visit and i cannot wait until 12. i have just called Customer service and after 10 minutes on hold a guy tells me he is going to call me back as soon as it gets hold of the driver... it has passed one hour already and i haven't received a call back from Argos.... do your conclusion... worse customer service ever... much too long waiting times and they do not keep records of enquirers/issues/complaints. will not use ever again!!!

Product Double Mattress cover :707:1874 I ordered this item and the product is of very good quality and reasonably priced. Much more reasonable than other places.

I recently purchased a paddling pool and something went wrong with the order, when I arrived it appeared that my product had been sold to someone else. In exchange I was given the next one up, a much bigger one and of much better quality than for no extra charge. Best customer service I have received in a long time.
