Argos are very competitive on pricing and always try to give the customer a good deal . They have a large range of goods from household to beauty, from kids stuff to pets and garden etc etc. Delivery is excellent and delivery charges are good. I always make Argos my first port of call when looking to make a purchase.

Had a fridge freezer delivered and they ripped my flooring in the kitchen and hallway. Now refusing to take matter further as drivers clearly have said it’s not them. Absolutely disgusting!!!!!!!!!!!

Ordered a new mattress from Argos three weeks ago, as well as paying an extra £20 for removal of the old mattress. It was clearly stated that the bag to put the old mattress in would be sent via first class delivery. Two weeks later it still hadn't arrived so I gave Argos a call. The woman on the phone said it was still early days and the bag should arrive on time, and if it doesn't, then the delivery driver carries spare bags anyway so it won't be an issue. Today is the day that the new mattress is delivered and the old one gets taken away and still no sign of the bag. The delivery driver also doesn't have any bags with him and is puzzled as to why I was told that they would be carrying spare bags as they never have done. I now have my old mattress in my living room, leaning against my sofa. I live in a small house so there is literally no where else that I can put it. I have small children that could be seriously injured if a 45KG mattress was to fall on them, so the living room is now out of bounds. Just called Argos and explained the situation to them, only to be told that they won't be able to collect the old mattress until 8th May at the earliest. So the only safe option now is for my children to stay in their bedroom for the next 9 days. If Argos doesn't have enough drivers, how difficult would it have been for them to outsource the job to to a removal company, as this is ultimately their error. Absolutely disgusted by the way Argos have just brushed this situation aside. I will be putting forward a complaint to the ombudsman and will NEVER shop with Argos again!

For my most recent order every item was not available for delivery for a few days so Argos arranged for free delivery and a separate carrier to make sure I received my items the next day. I didn't even know this could be offered but it was lovely.

I bought a Humax hard drive FVP-5000T recorder that started making a noise, I took it back yesterday 10 miles away as local store had no stock and got a replacement, all good so far. Set it up last night and it’s just as noisy as the last one, so took it back to my local store today for a refund. I was asked where’s the £10 gift voucher you received, as this was 5 months ago when I bought the original I had forgotten all about it. But my main point is I have had to make 2 journeys now totalling 30 odd miles the least Argos could do is wave this £10 , but they have taken it off my Argos card. I normally sing Argos’s praises to everyone always have , but today’s experience has really upset me

I was served by Lauren in the Kings Heath Birmingham store. She was very helpful & professional as I couldn’t find what I wanted, nothing was too much trouble & I left very satisfied thank you Lauren.

I was unable to process my order online but unlike other companies Argos had a great customer service line. The phone was answered immediately (very rare in my experience). The lady I spoke to placed my order manually but also had an issue during processing, however; she promised to call me back as soon as it was resolved. She was good to her word and five minutes later she called me and processed my payment. Delivery is quick and efficient.

A very good company to use. If what you want to buy is out of stock they will deliver it the next day free of charge. Or they will tell you of another branch that has it in.
