They never have anything in stock. This includes using Click and Collect at Sainsbury's. I tried to order a waterproof sheet for a cot but it wasn't possible for it to be delivered to my local Sainsbury's -- ever, it seems. When I asked in my local Argos store why this was, he said it was because they have limited storage. Do you have any idea how small a bed sheet for a child's cot packs down to? Hardly a space waster. Other times I've tried ordering towels and things, but they didn't have the amount I wanted (and it was a large store), and I found everything in Asda next door instead. This is exactly why people go to Amazon.

BBQ Grill we buy every other year so we know a little about them. This year one BBQ from Argos for only £50 is top of the range: easy to cook on, easy to clean, easy to store and it only takes one bag of coal. I love summer barbecues

The web site makes ordering easy. There was some confusion over whether items were in stock for collection as of the three things I reserved only one was there for me to collect. I got home an£ ordered and paid for the other two and git a date when they will be in. Goid job the shop is not too far and has free parking.

I wanted a quality microwave, in a hurry and at a great price. I work in the trade and Argos often beat the trade price from the manfactures, It's always worth a look but check everywhere sometimes Argos are wide of the mark! Nice staff in my end of the world, which always helps

Brought an electrical item, tried it at home on carpet not picking up. Took back to store who did a pathetic attempt to pick up on hard floor and refused to accept back! Staff and manager at Chester rude and unhelpful- online customer services no better at helping. Avoid this store, Ellesmere and Caldy Valley much nicer experience!

Had a problem getting collection arranged. Went to store at Inverness retail park. Very polite and helpful young man called Luke sorted it in no time. He's a credit to your store. Christine Ferguson

Terrible customer service passed off to a third party who thought that telling me an hour before was appropriate notice for delivering a fridge. After rearranging the delivery time the product didn't even work so we had to do it all again...

Argos are very competitive on pricing and always try to give the customer a good deal . They have a large range of goods from household to beauty, from kids stuff to pets and garden etc etc. Delivery is excellent and delivery charges are good. I always make Argos my first port of call when looking to make a purchase.

Had a fridge freezer delivered and they ripped my flooring in the kitchen and hallway. Now refusing to take matter further as drivers clearly have said it’s not them. Absolutely disgusting!!!!!!!!!!!

Ordered a new mattress from Argos three weeks ago, as well as paying an extra £20 for removal of the old mattress. It was clearly stated that the bag to put the old mattress in would be sent via first class delivery. Two weeks later it still hadn't arrived so I gave Argos a call. The woman on the phone said it was still early days and the bag should arrive on time, and if it doesn't, then the delivery driver carries spare bags anyway so it won't be an issue. Today is the day that the new mattress is delivered and the old one gets taken away and still no sign of the bag. The delivery driver also doesn't have any bags with him and is puzzled as to why I was told that they would be carrying spare bags as they never have done. I now have my old mattress in my living room, leaning against my sofa. I live in a small house so there is literally no where else that I can put it. I have small children that could be seriously injured if a 45KG mattress was to fall on them, so the living room is now out of bounds. Just called Argos and explained the situation to them, only to be told that they won't be able to collect the old mattress until 8th May at the earliest. So the only safe option now is for my children to stay in their bedroom for the next 9 days. If Argos doesn't have enough drivers, how difficult would it have been for them to outsource the job to to a removal company, as this is ultimately their error. Absolutely disgusted by the way Argos have just brushed this situation aside. I will be putting forward a complaint to the ombudsman and will NEVER shop with Argos again!
