“Booked and paid for a food order for £178.05 to be delivered the following day between 11am and 1pm. Driver failed to leave the Frozen Food. Getting through to the Service Centre was a nightmare and after an hour of holding on the phone, the advisor just stated the items would be refunded as they do not contact drivers to return with missing items. After speaking with a Manager, it was agreed the driver would return. After waiting in all afternoon, the driver never returned and no phone call from the store. After speaking with the service centre again, I was accused of lying and was told I never spoke to a manager and there was nothing they could do other than refund. The attitudes of advisors are appalling, rude and not intetested, shopping order not fulfilled and had to go elsewhere to get the missing items. Asda don't seem to care about customer experience, their customers or service they give, complaints are treated as if they are nothing, they have no interest in things that go wrong and certainly take no accountability. Check your orders throughly before the driver leaves as its an absolute nightmare trying to sort out problems once he/she leaves. A call centre in South Africa is not the best when problems arise.”
“In Asda in Chelmsley wood what a waste of time trying to get served you would think it was Christmas eve. One employee was trying to be helpful another smarmy faced middle aged woman really couldn't care less. Even the manager couldn't be asked. Want to try employing some people. Useless.”
“Last year our Christmas turkey & bacon can from an expensive wholesalers with disappointing results. This year a simple foil dish turkey & bacon joint from asda and the flavours were so much better, both good value too.”
“Well @asda you offer a £10 evoucher for not sending us our Free Range Corn Fed chicken Nor our special offer Leg of lamb Nor the special offer chateau red wine, You reply with the substituetes and I will tweet a response. #AsdaXmasDinnerRuined”
“Never in any shop before have l heard a member of staff threatening to swing for someone because we were not getting through self service tills fast enough. York monks cross store 12.02 am 23/11/21.”
“Went for shopping in Asda Fulwood Preston . Used the hand hold checking think . Got to the end after scanning everything in to the trolly to be told . When checking out . We had to be checked . Told us we had missed 3 thinks . So had to check everything think . 15 minutes late same price as we were . Someone was telling lies not sure who . But made it sound we were being accused of stealing . Never used the hand hold things again . And Asda you have to sort this out . Disgrace from you is thomas”
“I ordered a home delivery one week ago for today. It was the food for the week and some Christmas things as I don't have the possibility to move.
They canceled the order the same hour it has to arrive... without any clear reason. I called customer service and they said that no driver was available, but looking at the booking slot, there was the possibility to book again for triple the price! Like 6/8£.. so drivers were available..just you know...you have to pay more obviously. No action to meet halfway was taken, like at least reschedule with the same delivery price.
Very disappointed ...”
“Ordered Christmas hamper for delivery to parents address on 18 December. Online order tracker advised it had been delivered. Checked with my parents and no hamper had been delivered. Poor service.”
“Absolutely incompetent online shopping service. Multiple items either out of stock or offered inferior alternatives. Trying to get refunds for their screw ups is like pulling teeth, delivery slots over 2 hours late, wrong delivery I.e someone else's food and mine given to the wrong person, over half of my shopping missing and then having to try to get a refund, not being able to eat because they don't have all my items or have given them to someone else. Out sourced customer service who have very little authority to do anything apart from apologise. I will NEVER use their online services again. Tesco are much better online”
“Had a delivery today
Driver very nice

Applied for refund on these items
Refund was rejected
Absolute disgrace
Never using that service again
😡😡😡”

“5 December 2021. The ladies' toilets in the Cambridge ASDA were disgusting. There was built-up used toilet paper in the pan which wouldn't flush. I am disabled but the disabled loos were "out of order" so it was very difficult to get off the seat.
It was a very degrading experience”
“Port Royal Lamb Patty
Yeuk !!!!!!!!
Shockingly bad. Pastry dry and falls apart
Filling flavourless, thick and horrible with lumps of potatoes and other non-descript stuff.
Meat almost non existent
No self-respecting lover of a Jamaican patty would pass these off as good or authentic.
Really, really bad, get the other brand.”
“I suppose to have a delivery today Thursday 2/12/2021. Between two pm to three pm. They just phoned up and said the delivery driver had to go home. Asda should have relief drivers to take there place for delivering foods etc to there customers. What a waste of space Asda are. There willing to take money from you for the goods. But cannot keep there promises.”
“My online delivery today has 17 missing items, including milk, bread, cheese, meat, fish and vegetables, with no substitutions offered. The website was marketing as available all the items ordered (as well as many alternatives) until the order deadline.”
“I have experienced problems with product price and availability in an Asda store, and am concerned at what appears to be a lack of business ethics and honesty by Asda.
Asda’s website quotes a reduced price for a dairy product, down from £1.95 to £1.
I went to an Asda store and found the product to be priced at £1.95, and I queried this with Asda Head office when I returned home. Whilst they offered a small compensation amount to adjust the purchase price difference, they did not explain why the store price was higher.
I thought they were remedying the situation, but when I visited the store 2 days later, the product was still priced at £1.95, and my visit was again a waste of time..
I queried this again, and was eventually advised that at the very base of a long website page, there was a note: “In-store availability, prices and promotions may vary from those online. Please check with your local store before visiting”.
I commented that they should put this note right by the website price listed, and not hide it away.
Although it would be a very quick job to amend the website, they have failed to do so as I write, 3 days later. I can only assume that they hope to encourage customers into stores by the offer of lower prices.
I have found Asda Customer Services unhelpful and incompetent, and their business methods to be very dubious. Obviously, I will not be buying products from Asda again.”
