“Asda irvine north ayrshire.
Usually I have no problems with asda or staff but, the pay point has been out of use for a week or more! This is an inconvenience for many but mostly your older customers who are trying to get everything done In one place, this means they have to hunt around for somewhere to top up heating and fuel bills.
Asda you can do better than this surely.”
“Online shop is utter rubbish - so not user-friendly and week after week there are issues. Today whilst amending my order, the basket apparently timed out (with no warning) so I lost my slot that I had had booked for over a week. Then when trying to book a new slot, there were technical issues and I lost all of the changes to my basket. DO NOT SHOP ONLINE WITH ASDA!”
“Don't order online. They can not bring the food and still request the money and they really do not care If you have 3 children at home who are hungry because of their incompetence didn't even offer to bring my shopping the next day nothing at all and I can't get my money because its still a pending transaction. Disgusting company.”
“Today was disgusting the lady on customer services was extremely vile rude calling me a baby as if she was taking the mic her attitude was not acceptable she had blonde white hair definitely short lady she was shouting at other public i felt intimated il never go here again this is today 13/9/21”
“Went to Asda Burnley to complete my week's shop after retuning back from Scotland I decided I would go straight to Asda before returning home to find out once I had completed my shop and put this through the self scan I was told that there was no bags all that could be offered was a tiny George bag meaning we had to pack this all back on to the trolley and carry it back in to the house singly absolut joke Asda”
“Just garbage, simple as that. Sitting silently reading the news online and checking on the app in a bungalow no further than 10 feet from the front door, the app pops up saying 'delivered'. Assuming that meant, awesome they're here; nope, it means he's half way down the road driving away. What the absolute hell! Rang to query and said that the driver's not answering his phone and probably not going to deliver now. No apology, no offer of re-delivery at any point, no nothing, despite some essentials being in there, meaning a drive to pay over the odds in the Coop was necessary. Refund is apparently on its way, but assuming as I will that this service is of similar quality, I'll look forward to that around Christmas time! Seeing how many unanswered negative reviews there are on here and TrustPilot, it won't be long before they're in real trouble. You can't treat people like that and expect them to return with their custom.”
“Most of my problems is trying to pay for my online delivery order, this happens everytime i go down to checkout to pay after giving my details. I do not get these problems with Morrisons so in future I will give my order to them. I have already been to my local bank Santander but that was no help, for Asda problem.”
“Went to Asda old Kent road on 20 July 2021 and upon entering I saw the lady security grappling a young boy accusing him of stealing! The lady refused to listen to anything that was said by the young boy who was obviously distressed so I intervened. I told the lady security she shouldn’t be handling the boy in that manner and if the young boy had stolen? She was unsure so I asked if the store sold the item in question? Again she was unsure, so I told her to check the system and if the store doesn’t sell it she has to apologise.
In the mean time two other security guards came over and usehered the young boy and his two friends to leave the store and responded and told them “No way, as your colleague has just stolen from this young boy”
The security’s answer to me was “ they know they are not allowed in here” so I question why, his response was that “they are entering without an adult”
So I suggest that it’s ok to kick out someone after removing their personal belongs from them, you have got be mad! And also gave him a scenario with me and them taking my phone and I would not be leaving the store under any circumstances!
During this time the lady security returned and apologised to the young boy. But the other security was still adamant the boys shouldn’t of been here!
This is one of the many reasons young people have no trust in the older generation, children should be seen and not heard!
They are our future... if we keep on demoralise them what future do we have...”
“Asda Toryglen worst ever for getting in and out . They put a petrol station in traffic murder then a McDonald's traffic just stupid I stay in Toryglen would rather go to Tesco. Lidls or Aldis Avoid Avoid Avoid”
“48hrs have passed. ASDA HASN'T GIVEN ME MY MONEY BACK nor my shopping. I emailed Roger Burnley... he is a joke... quite the same as the company he runs... THIEVES GIVE ME MY MONEY BACK”
“It appears that Asda (Bridge of Dee) believe they are can now decide if a consenting adult is allowed to buy alcohol with their shopping. Due to the fact that I had my 14 year old daughter with me at the time it was taken away (despite telling them this was for my own consumption). It seems that Asda are now her guardian angel and have the right to tell me how to run her life. Strange times ....”
“I placed an online order requesting a delivery to be made today. We are self-isolating and we are unable to go out.
On the same delivery day I received another email saying that ASDA CANCELLED MY ODER BECAUSE THEY COULDN'T TAKE THE PAYMENT WHEN THE PAYMENT WAS CLEARLY TAKEN IN MY ACCOUNT. I called my bank straight away, and they confirmed that the payment has been already made, just as it shows in my pending transactions.
MEANING YOU HAVE TAKEN MY MONEY, AND CANCEL A SERVICE THAT I HAVE ALREADY PAID FOR.
I decided to call your useless customer service. OCTAVIA picked that call up and was absolutely unhelpful, unapologetic and careless, even when I explained to her that we have NO WAY TO GO OUT, NO FAMILY IN THE COUNTRY, NO FOOD, AND I HAVE A FAMILY INCLUDING A 2 YEARS OLD TO FEED!!!
OCTAVIA, suggested to do click and collect and go get the order ourselves, even when she knew that by law we are forced to stay indoors. I found it outrageous so I asked to speak with the manager. OCTAVIA SAID THAT THE MANAGER IS UNAVAILABLE AND BUT SHE'LL PUT A REQUEST TO CONTACT US IN 48HR... 2 DAYS?????!!!!!! what on earth was she talking about?
Then she he hung up on us because she couldn't help anymore. DISGUSTING.
Then I called again, furious, and spoke with Irne, she said delivery today won't be possible..and again suggested to do click and collect.. what make me wonder how do you train your agents???.. and in which world are they living if after nearly 2 years they don't get what self-isolation means????
SO WHO IS GONNA FEED MY FAMILY TONIGHT? WHY HAVE YOU TAKEN MY MONEY? HOW CAN YOU BE SO UNPROFESSIONAL AND UNTRUSTED???
THANK YOU ASDA FOR BEING SUCH AN UNWORTHLESS AND HEARTLESS THIEVES!!!
And you know what the best part is? That YOU ARE STILL HOLDING MY MONEY!!!! SO I CAN'T BUY FOOD FROM ANOTHER SUPERMARKET!!!!!”
“Well Covid is here and will be part of our lives for sometime to come.
We shop at Asda Worcester regularly and due to global issues have adapted to a new way to shop to ensure everyone is safe.
I must say the standard of some staff at the Worcester store is absolutely appalling. I am not directing my complaints at the majority of staff at the store as they are hard working polite members of the team.
My complaint is directed at the staff on the bread processing dept, and in particular female member called Becky, she is rude, and not at all helpful.
We are going through a difficult time and Covid is giving some workers and companies a passport to ruin the business.
If you don't or can't slice bread then please just explain to YOUR customers. You now have a sign up staying no slicing bread.
When the last take over was finalised I believed there would be improvements, how wrong was I.
I do wonder if the Issa brothers know how their business is being operated in Worcester.”
“I have cancelled two delivery slots for Asda as it is no point keeping them as they do not have lots of the items that I want and it is happening every week now and one of the items is Asda diet cola and the alternative is Asda sugar cola which is nothing like what I want it would take me ages to list everything that I have been let down by Asda the store is Asda Filton store and no one can drive for medical reasons and we have no transport or support nearby”
“Cancelled my online order 14 minutes before it was due. No real reason just said
We only cancel if we absolutely have to. For example because of really bad weather, driver illness, road accident or serious technical failure.
Thanks Asda as I’m locked down and have no way to get to the shops that’s great!.
No delivery slots available now for 2 days.
Waste of time!”
“Avoid at all costs.
This is my story of Asda. On Saturday, I was mistreated by a member of staff in front of my 4 years old son. This happened at Asda Shepshed. I called the call centre and the person harassed me and hung up whilst I was explaining. I called after couple of hours, they said they could raise these issues internally but I wouldn't get any feedback since it was internal matter. Then I called again today and they offered me £15 but refusing to send me a written apology. They redirected me to their website, a section which didn't exist ... This is the first company ever that I have seen with no complain mechanism. I decided to probably give up, but that won't make this world a better place.”
“Ridiculous
I had been shopping for over a year at ASDA. sometimes the ASDA did not have some products and sent replacements, so far so good. sometimes I didn't want some replacement products and I sent them by the driver, I received the refund email minutes later. i spend an average of £300 every month on asda. It went on like this for a year and a half. For the last three consecutive weeks I had problems with the deliveries. first time delivery should arrive at 3p.m. I waited until 5pm and called for justifications, they told me that the driver had had some problems and was late, that he would arrive in an hour, so far so good, he arrived in half an hour. the second time the same story, the excuse was that there was a problem loading the truck, the delivery was scheduled to arrive at 1p.m and arrived at 6.35 pm I contacted the customer again and they offered me a refound of £5 for the inconvenience . eggs came broken back to driver and never got refound, meat worth more than £5 missing (didn't complain because i should have figured it out with the driver present.). last time they emailed the substitutes and confirmed the order. everything was perfect until I received a message with the cancellation of delivery (I have a baby and I needed the products to be able to make him dinner). I tried to reschedule and they only had slots for the next day, even though I was displeased with the situation I said okay. The surprise was that I was asked again for the visa card codes, when I asked why I had to PAY AGAIN and that within 2 - 5 days I would receive a refund for the first time. so i just asked for a refund and closed my door to asda. I never made a complaint in my life.I'm a passive person and I know we all make mistakes, problems happen, but 3 times in a row? ask me to pay again what I had already paid? is not acceptable. I believe customers deserve respect.
I just remember that for over a year I shopped at asda and it was always the same senior driver who handed me the orders. once delayed 10 minutes and apologized. three weeks ago everything fell apart with new drivers”
“I have spent a lot of time reading the reviews other customers and I am horrified by what I have seen. My issue is about pricing and their bulk buy deals. I have had 2 issues with substituted goods and increased bills. To keep things simple my latest problem came when I received my updated order on delivery day saying I had 1 substituted (cheaper) item because my pizza deal was not available but not to worry as I would still get the deal. I was puzzled that despite this promise my bill increased. There were no other changes. I tried to get to the bottom of this with the delivery driver, the local store, Resolver, customer services abroad and in Leeds. Customer services hung up on me. My next step was an email to the chief executive who has not replied. Having read the reviews I can't say I'm surprised but prior to seeing these I honestly thought my issue would be easily sorted. Since it is a pricing issue I feel I should go to trading standards. The amount I was overcharged isn't great in the grand scheme of things but I would be interested if anyone else has had the same problem. I wonder whether if many items were substituted whether people actually realise they have been wrongly charged.”
