I wanted to order some groceries from Asda, plus some items from George. I could not place a combined groceries plus George in the same order. My combined order would have been £54 (£15 of groceries plus £39 from George). However, because my groceries shop was less than the minimum £25, I was not allowed to order, even if my total including the George items would have been higher than the minimum. I tried to contact Customer services, but they didn't know. They kept me waiting and then sent me to another number. They couldn't help me either. In the physical shop I could buy groceries and George items in the same place, so why not online??? I why is this not clearly explained? I decided that Asda is not worth the hassle

Substituted five items with gammon, including spring onions and cucumber. Shouldn't be in grocery if you can't see the difference. Worse still, they substituted white wine for red. Not only incompetent, but no class either.

Customer service, OMG!! My order was cancelled for technical reasons. . Fair enough, it happens. But they're now saying 3-5 days before I get my money back...tried talking to "customer service" and they said it was up to me to contact my bank to release funds. I did that and the bank said it was up to asda to release funds, asda said they can't. . Went round and round in circles before I finally lost the will to live and hung up. Sonia I have no shopping and no money. . What would happen if I took good off their shelves and told them I would pay them in 3-5 days!! Totally out of order asda!!!

Run out of the most popular ingredient in the world Didn't deliver 15 items due to no availability. Those ingredients included onions and garlic. The order was so useless I will have to go to the supermarket to do a big shop anyway. Customer service were useless and didn't see the issue as they hadn't charged me. Apparently my time is worth nothing. 30 minutes on the phone for no positive outcome.

Very very very very disappointing. Ordered 14 items, only received 3 and was charged for some of the unreceived items. And I only found out a few hours before hand that not all of the items could be delivered. This is marketed as being a convenient and stress free service, but my experience was the polar opposite. Would have been better off physically going there. If I could rate them zero stars I would.

I bought blachweb earbuds which are made specifically for Walmart & Asda, they seemed robust and durable but didn't last a month, I didn't keep my receipt but thought I would take them back since they were Asda's own brand, but they wouldn't return or replace them apparently anything from the electrical dept has to have a receipt, they were not expensive but i thought other people should be aware of the poor quality of this product.

beware asda online shoppers!!! I have to let everyone know the risk you take when you order your online grocery shopping with asda, earlier this year we received our weekly shopping order from asda, Benton , Newcastle Upon Tyne, which was fine until a couple of weeks later we received a letter from the asda delivery drivers solicitor demanding our insurance details since he suffered an injury whilst delivering our shopping, we got in touch with asda at the time and spoke to the deputy manager who assured us they would take care of it, so we gave him all the details and that is what we thought would be the last of it, a few months on and we are still receiving solicitors letters, so we got back in touch with asda Benton and the deputy manager we spoke to does not work there anymore, more phone calls later and eventually speak to the store manager, he remembered the incident earlier on in the year but thought is was resolved so he got in touch with asda head office, when he got back to me the answer was asda can do nothing since they have no control over what there staff do in there own time and advised me to get legal advise! I am absolutely furious! now i'm wondering if I am covered for this surely asda has to protect there loyal customers from this sort of thing? BE WARNED!

Ordered food for a old age pensioner, for christmas as a good will to help out. I ordered £55 worth of food. Only to know 13 items were missing. I called them straight away. Got nothing but crap from them. They gave me a free delivery pass to only realise. It can only be used when you spend £40 and over. I called 5 times in total. To finally get told they will redeliver. But can not do this until 24-48 hours. All i got was sorry. No damn care in the world for this old pensioner. Deliver was booked for the 19th december. Never ever will i order from asda again online. No compation towards this old person. Disgusting service. Sainsbury is the best online delivery.

Asda Linwood: Had a stand up argument to get a refund on an item yesterday." You have to buy the right tbing first time" and got a lecture about how ASDA only does refunds on broken things. The woman was very rude and I left. She was incredibly stupid because if she had offered me an exchange or vouchers, I likely would have said yes. Very stressful, I wont be shopping there again. Was more like a court battle.

Shame I had to give a star at all! Sick and tired of the poor service at my local small Asda store it's convenient for me and I like the products but staff are ignorant and leave you waiting to have products authorised whilst they either stand talking, reading newspapers or scanning their own shopping! I have complained before but no change! Going to walk the extra 15 mins to Sainsbury's, Asda used to be great and had great customer service, what happened!

ASDA CAR PARKING SCAM Went to the Hemel Hempstead branch of Asda. Parked the car and paid £2 for a pay-and-display ticket with attached refund voucher to obtain refund of the £2 if spending more than £5. At the checkout, as I was paying by credit card for my shopping I gave the refund voucher to the checkout lady after she had scanned all items and entered my pin. The till receipt showed that the £2 refund was not given so pointed this out to the checkout lady. Response was "Sorry we do not give cash refunds for parking vouchers" to which I inquired that if that was the case then why was the £2 not credited against the shopping bill. Response - payment had already been applied to the card before the checkout lady had seen the refund voucher and if I wanted the £2 refunded I would have to go back and purchase more items to a minimum value of £2 to apply the refund voucher against. I Went to speak to the in store Customer Service who stated that this was the policy of the car parking company (Parking Eye). I found this hard to believe as the parking company would be instructed by the land owner/lease holder (Asda). I subsequently spoke to another more senior staff member who stated that this non cash refund arrangement was an agreement between Asda Head Office and Parking Eye as previously there was a long queue of customers at the Customer Service point requesting a refund of the parking charge. I asked as to why the checkout staff do not ask for the refund voucher prior to completing the transaction at the point of sale thus enabling the £2 to be credited to the final bill. Response - checkout staff are not trained or required to do so. So here is the scam:- 1. Park car and purchase parking ticket with a refund if purchasing goods to the value of £5 or more 2. At checkout provide refund voucher 3. Where paying by credit/debit card "Oops sorry sir I have applied payment and cannot give you a cash refund. You will have to purchase more goods to the minimum value of £2 to obtain refund" 4. The choice the customer has is either walk out and forfeit the £2 (Parking Eye win) or re-enter the store and purchase more goods to the minimum value of £2 to obtain a refund (Asda Win). 5. There is no prompt from the check out staff to ask the customer for the refund voucher at the correct point in the checkout process (as staff are not trained or required to do so BUT are trained in the application of the scam) so that the refund can be applied as a credit to the bill. So there you have it. A WIN-WIN situation for Asda and Parking Eye and a LOSE-LOSE for the customer. Is it no wonder that Asda can undercut the competition. Query to Asda – Is this a local store initiative or is this scam sanctioned at the corporate level? First time I have ever shopped at Asda and it will certainly be the last.

I arranged a late night delivery which failed to arrive. When I contacted the so called customer services they offered to re deliver the following day but wanted to charge me £6 . It should have been free for the inconvenience or at least att he original delivery fee! Needless to say I cancelled the order. I will get my xmas booze elsewhere!

It's been probably 5th time I order ASDA home delivery. I only order it from ASDA because they do not limit still/sparking water amounts when other online grocery shops does limit those in quantity. So the first thing next day after I made the order - I've got the email about items which were unavailable to fulfill/our of stock. Guess what? All the core items I needed the most are not available and I realized that I will be only received all add-on items which allowed me to reach 40 pound minimal delivery sum... GREAT Then second thing: delivery was scheduled from 3 to 5 pm on Sunday, now it's already 5:15 when I'm writing this review. When it will arrive? God knows. I wonder ho many items which should arrive won't be there? ASDA - the mood killer. It was the last time I did use you, I promise.
