Terrible company. Too many self service checkouts, what a cheek, and no discount for using them. Expensive too. Stay away.

My children and I were disappointed this evening when our order from ASDA did not arrive. I needed a steamer in order to make a meal they really wanted, and it never arrived. We've just moved to a new estate, and apparently the driver, called Alex, could not find the address. What is the point of ASDA having my telephone number in my account, then? What would it have cost this Alex person to give me a call and ask for directions? Every other company that I have ordered things from since moving here, they call and say when they can't find our place, and we direct them. Easy peesy! Does ASDA not train or expect their drivers to go the extra mile? My poor children kept on looking out the window every time they heard a vehicle, thinking the steamer had arrived so that I could make the food in readiness for breakfast tomorrow. A simple telephone call, and my children would not have gone to bed disappointed. Thank you ASDA for NOTHING. And so you don't think I'm paid to leave a bad review, my order number was 18395262066.

Something fishy here. How come nearly all reviews are positive? Staff doing them? Nobody really likes Asda.

ASDA provides an utterly appalling customer service. Drives fail to understand simple delivery instructions and waste customers' time. I wish there was a way to remove this company form the options we have to buy grocery items. Such a rubbish company

Shocking company. Long checkout queues. No I do not use self service as I also pay to be served. George products are cheap and nasty and not really fit for purpose. Very expensive.

ASDA grimsby, you put my card though to day manually and then refused me my items as the back of my card wasn't signed, the money has left my bank and you tried to tell me this was a ghost transaction. WELL IT ISNT!!!! I've rang my bank and they have told me you have authored this payment to go through! so NOT only did you staff/team leader speak to me like something she stood in you have also taken a payment that wasn't meant to go though according to you. NO GOODS AND YOU STILL HAVE MY PAYMENT. This will be going to fraud and i will be contacting everyone in regards to this matter.

I wouldn't even give them one star but hadn't to as I needed to write this review. We placed a online order or the 6th ocotober totalling £133.00. The bill in the end came to £51.62 as the others goods we ordered were unavailable. Asda has told me tonight five days after the order that I will now have to wait until the 18th of this month to get my other £82.00 back. I was on the phone for over an hour had to request three times to speak to a manager. They all told me different stories but it comes down to the same thing there liars. But hey we can offer you a £10 voucher funny though she didn't know what to say when I told her the only reason we used you is we had a £10 voucher for the cock up you made on the last order. TESCOS you have a new customer

Terrible stores. Stay away. Expensive ,not enough frozen foods and too many self service checkouts. I agree, try Waitrose.

Worse supermarket chain ever. Had to queue for long time for checkout that wasn't self service. Do they think I am crazy? Self service? As another reviewer stated....offer discounts for using them. Listen people, did you know a percentage of what you pay is wages for checkout staff? So why use them?

Went into Asda Folkestone today. Coo. Never again. Nearly all checkouts are self service. Why do they do that? To save themselves money, not you the customer. There should be inducements to use them, like saving 5% on your purchases. Why not. They gain from you for using them as you pay a percentage in your prices for checkout staff wages. At least one doesn't seem to get pressurised into using them, like Morrisons. On the other hand it wasn't too busy so perhaps when it is they do. Anyway I got my socks which is all I go there for. My advice? Use Waitrose.

Ordered click and collect - left waiting in car park for over 20 mins - when food arrived over half of it was missing and i was told that nothing could be done and that i needed to go home and call customer services, although suggesting that i go in asda and repurchase things i know are not there. so i call customer service where it is clear english is not the assistants first language and despite her best efforts i had to repeart, spell and generally talk so slowly as to convey the issues which i found infuriating. 37mins later 33 items needed refunding and another shopping trip later that evening and all they offered was a £ voucher to use in there store. You would think that would be the end but no, got an email with only a partial refund so ring up today again in my lunch hour 25 mins later, no lunch and another idiot on the phone there system crashed and i was asked to redo the refund request which would take again the same amount of time. I told them i was unable to as my lunch break had ended to which i was asked to go online and waste more time doing a refund request. I have never received such bad service from anywhere else. update - cant go online to do the refund as this is now past the 3 day cut off so i will need to call and speak to another idiot !!!!! Asda price guarantee is farcical. I was supposed to receive over £12 as part of this scheme, but the vouchers never showed up. When I complained they said they would investigate, then when I heard nothing I called them. I was told to wait 28 days to get the answer about what had happened to the vouchers. The 28 days are now up, I have heard nothing and not received the vouchers. I then find out the orders are only available for 28 days. This hads left me feeling cheated and will not recommend Asda to anyone.

Extremely rude and patronising (female) member of staff in the Hyson Gren Nottingham (UK) who insisted on calling me "darling" whealing with my complaint. Her response when challenged on this "I will speak to you as I like" Highly unprofessional to say the least

A complaint via resolver regarding Asda delivery, still not responded to a year and a half later! Jonjo at Asda replied ' irrelevantly' recently that they do not accept complaints via resolver. That's not true, here's the link : https://www.resolver.co.uk/complaints/shops- complaints Click the link and scroll down the list you will see Asda does accept complaints via resolver! They delivered shopping dripping in raw broken eggs and I refused to sign, understandably! No promises were kept, and I'm furious with the latest response, which is lies! You will see Asda do accept complaints via resolver! Resolver emailed Sean the chief executive on my behalf! I have requested jonjo provides all emails from myself and resolver to Sean area response from Sean! A year and a half later this should have been resolved by now! You can view pics of how shopping was delivered on google + I think I put them.. :) Disgusting. Hope Sean responds!
