“We placed an order with Asda for twenty four bottles of wine for a family get together or Christmas we specified that we did not want any substitutes the order was for the sum of £147.02 when the order arrived the driver didn't even unload, as they had sent a substitute and he could see by the order none would be acceppted so they were sent back.
I have spent the last three days trying to get my money back after two very long phone ,calls with Asda customer service [Would anyone pay for 24 bottles of wine they had never tried )
Still waiting for my refund of £147.02 day four. Going back to Tesco for shopping as refund come back next day good bye Asda”
“After over a month i am still waiting for money regarding an item that was out of stock I call them few times and all the times i get a different answer and the situation is still pending. Lately they have been using my personal details as i got charged for money with no explaination. Definitely the worse online shopping and customer support I have ever experienced!”
“online shopping is horrible if you are shopping for a family. They never deliver the quantities you need. if you order 4 of something they only send one. Hit and miss with their substitutions as well. ordered 15 smart price eggs they sent 6 free range and charged me the same price. Ordered mixed spice to make christmas cakes they sent curry powder ! If you really need your shopping go in person. Lots of stuff are NOT listed on the website or are "unavailable" when they ARE in store. but they are pushing other brands.”
“Went to 24hrs Asda in Rohampton . Looking for kinder surprise eggs for my daughter. I couldn't find it . As I approach the tills I asked a lady if she can help me find them but she pointed me to the customer service. When I got there poor lady at customer service had to walk back to the same lady who told her if he could not found it in the shelf then we don't have it. So why did she send me to the customer service. May she wanted me out of the store as the customer service is on the way out.She wasn't on the tills just standing not doing anything. She seems not to care even to put an effort to take me down the shelf to check. I went to the next 24hrs Tesco new malden and I asked an employee who walked me to where the kinder surprise eggs were. Poor customer service at Asda. She was a coloured lady.”
“called in to pick my click and collect parcel at about the given time - filled in the screen inside the store with my reference number and recieved a print out saying the parcel had arrived and someone would bring it to me. A while later someone came up to us and told us that the parcel was not ready. He said we could wait for the parcel or come back later. We decided to come back later as they said they would send another email when it was ready. At 21:57 they sent an email to say it was ready to collect, the store was open 24 hrs. When I went to pick it up I was told the click and collect service had closed and there was no way of getting my items till the following day. I have used click and collect from other stores it has only needed one visit, not 3 visits (assuming this time I am successful). I dont think I will be using the Asda service again any time soon”
“Awful experience all round. Too many self checkouts, dreadful quality George clothing and too many non food products. Expensive too. Stay away if possible and try Morrisons. Not Asda though, or Lidl and Aldi as they are even worse quality. Not much choice really is there. Sigh.”
“My children and I were disappointed this evening when our order from ASDA did not arrive. I needed a steamer in order to make a meal they really wanted, and it never arrived. We've just moved to a new estate, and apparently the driver, called Alex, could not find the address. What is the point of ASDA having my telephone number in my account, then? What would it have cost this Alex person to give me a call and ask for directions? Every other company that I have ordered things from since moving here, they call and say when they can't find our place, and we direct them. Easy peesy! Does ASDA not train or expect their drivers to go the extra mile? My poor children kept on looking out the window every time they heard a vehicle, thinking the steamer had arrived so that I could make the food in readiness for breakfast tomorrow. A simple telephone call, and my children would not have gone to bed disappointed. Thank you ASDA for NOTHING. And so you don't think I'm paid to leave a bad review, my order number was 18395262066.”
“ASDA provides an utterly appalling customer service. Drives fail to understand simple delivery instructions and waste customers' time. I wish there was a way to remove this company form the options we have to buy grocery items. Such a rubbish company”
“Shocking company. Long checkout queues. No I do not use self service as I also pay to be served. George products are cheap and nasty and not really fit for purpose. Very expensive.”
“ASDA grimsby, you put my card though to day manually and then refused me my items as the back of my card wasn't signed, the money has left my bank and you tried to tell me this was a ghost transaction. WELL IT ISNT!!!! I've rang my bank and they have told me you have authored this payment to go through!
so NOT only did you staff/team leader speak to me like something she stood in you have also taken a payment that wasn't meant to go though according to you.
NO GOODS AND YOU STILL HAVE MY PAYMENT.
This will be going to fraud and i will be contacting everyone in regards to this matter.”
“I wouldn't even give them one star but hadn't to as I needed to write this review. We placed a online order or the 6th ocotober totalling £133.00. The bill in the end came to £51.62 as the others goods we ordered were unavailable. Asda has told me tonight five days after the order that I will now have to wait until the 18th of this month to get my other £82.00 back.
I was on the phone for over an hour had to request three times to speak to a manager. They all told me different stories but it comes down to the same thing there liars. But hey we can offer you a £10 voucher funny though she didn't know what to say when I told her the only reason we used you is we had a £10 voucher for the cock up you made on the last order. TESCOS you have a new customer”
“Worse supermarket chain ever. Had to queue for long time for checkout that wasn't self service. Do they think I am crazy? Self service? As another reviewer stated....offer discounts for using them. Listen people, did you know a percentage of what you pay is wages for checkout staff? So why use them?”
“Went into Asda Folkestone today. Coo. Never again. Nearly all checkouts are self service. Why do they do that? To save themselves money, not you the customer. There should be inducements to use them, like saving 5% on your purchases. Why not. They gain from you for using them as you pay a percentage in your prices for checkout staff wages. At least one doesn't seem to get pressurised into using them, like Morrisons. On the other hand it wasn't too busy so perhaps when it is they do. Anyway I got my socks which is all I go there for. My advice? Use Waitrose.”
“I ordered a pack of xs condoms, when I picked them up they were only small.. this is way too big for me, 3 weeks ago found out my wife was pregnant because of this, safe to say she is now going to be a single mum all thanks to you asda”
