Bad management at busy times self service tills seem to get closed. Then when approached the convenient answer is provided "tills closed due to technical fault" why do normal tills never encounter this fault.

Went into Asda Folkestone today. Coo. Never again. Nearly all checkouts are self service. Why do they do that? To save themselves money, not you the customer. There should be inducements to use them, like saving 5% on your purchases. Why not. They gain from you for using them as you pay a percentage in your prices for checkout staff wages. At least one doesn't seem to get pressurised into using them, like Morrisons. On the other hand it wasn't too busy so perhaps when it is they do. Use Waitrose.

very disappointed with the service I have not received, this is bad, no delivery as promised between 9 - 10pm, it's now 11.10, ordered condoms and nobody knows wher my Jonnies have gone, sounds like a good idea for a song ! Seriously, don't mean the above but no food !!

I was not happy that my son who is 13 and was in school uniform was able to buy ibuprofen even if it is legal it's common sense that you would question a child especially when he was able to buy more than 1 packet, and when I complained I was told it's legal when I further told head office in was told they would get back to me still waiting 4 months down the line very bad service.

Had everything I needed and then give them only three stars? Bought a coat and gave them four stars? Really? What about the idea of these reviews, or doesn't it matter? Reviews are just that, reviews. It means about your shopping experience, the goods in your shopping trolley, the staff, cleanliness etc. Then you can make your review. Giving stars for one item purchases is not a review of the store and the company.

What a shambollick delivery service Asda offer! First thing in the morning (my delivery was booked for 1pm -3pm) i am informed by txt that the delivery would be two hours late. half an hour later i am informed by txt that my delivery would be three hours late. One hour after my delivery is due, i check on the status via the web site, only to find the order has been cancelled without my knowledge. When i call the customer service department, i am told that due to a technical issue they have cancelled my order. I am offered a free delivery for the next day, but some of the offers had expired and i had only paid £3.50 for the delivery so i would have to pay the extra as the following day was more expensive. How are you still in business???? Why s it ok to treat customers in this shocking manner. Oh and if you email a complaint they have 28 days to respond, REALLY?!!!!!

Booked online delivery, okay-ed it with my bank 25 mins later they cancelled it, iv'e been on the phone for nearly 2 hours, they are reluctant to do anything, they offered me 15 pounds to get some takeaway today while i wait, and now that they took soo long there are no delivery slots for 2 days, i have proof its asda at fault and they cant do anything. they are too incompetent to do anything then look at a screen and read out what it tells them, how hard is it to deliver some food, and how hard is it to fix their own problem. DELETED MY ACCOUNT, FUDGE THIS COMPANY.

Asda 10/10 for wonderful service NOT!!!! Neighbor had delivery for 22 Dec but had cancelled it before hand. Low and behold she got a text message on 22 Dec to say Asda delivery was on its way, she rang and said she cancelled it, idiot on phone said they would advise driver. About 30 minutes later guess what, Asda driver arrives with delivery, she tells them she cancelled it and they leave, You think that would be the end of it...Ohh no, she inquired about the money they had taken from her acct and was told it wasn't taken out and returned to bank. She phoned bank asking about when the funds would be released from pending, bank informed her could take 3-5 working days. Only other option was if Asda could send a Fax to Bank saying that the order was cancelled.. 3 days of asking Asda a simple question of faxing to a bank the required info was a joke, rude woman on phone told her its 2017 no one uses fax machines, um hello my job does, idiot woman also said this is the last time you can call about this um no, you don't have the right to tell a customer how many times they can call the store... any way what has happened is..from a cancelled order my neighbor and her kids didn't have a Christmas as that money that Asda took out was for Presents and food and electric. I only just found out all this as I saw the children outside and asked the usual "what did Santa bring you" only to be told he didnt come to our house this year, we think we were too naughty. Asda you totally suck... you have left a family without Christmas, Food, and Electric, All because you are too damn lazy to get off your bum and do something that could take 2 mins, even if you cant send a fax you could of done something... Ohh and by the way... my neighbor attempted suicide because she feels like she failed as a mum for not providing Christmas for her kids, for not providing food, and for no way of heating their home... ASDA you yet again continue to disappoint, no wonder I dont shop there,

Poor xmas offers really and not much competition between them and other chains. It's the self service checkouts I dislike the most. Staff not too bad really.

Rotten, stinking 'premium' (Asda? Premium?) Turkey on Christmas morning. Ruined Xmas day. You parasitic, entry level Super(?)market. I warned my Wife. Now she understands why. Should've stuck with Sainsbury and M&S for quality. Even Aldi and Lidl are better.

Ive had more than one bad experience with asda at the main store in kingsthorpe northampton. If you take anything back the senior staff act as though its a personal affront to them and its coming out of their pockets. EXAMPLE. Bought two pillows. buy one get one free, or two for the price of one, something on those lines. Says machine washable at 40degrees, I washed them on hand wash at 30, came out all out of shape and lumpy. ok, hopefully will restore in dryer. Nope, worse. So back to asda, stand around about 15 mins while staff member goes through the till trying to find them, in the end gets manager, explain to him, he has a look, cant find anything, So he turns to the staff member and says give the lady a voucher for £10, im fine with that. Anyway the staff member goes back to the till, im thinking shes sorting the voucher, stand there a bit more, in the end said," excuse me, what are you doing" "Looking for the price "' When i said, "hang on, your boss "and i emphasised the word boss "has just told you to give me a £10 voucher." Her response was on the lines of think yourself lucky youre getting it. Another one, someone did a bit of shopping for me, Smart price ham .Didnt look at lable just opened the pack it looks like luncheon meat, tastes like lucheon meat, smells like lucheon meat, but according to the pack its ham. didnt realise until i said something about the meat in the fridge. Its ham, he says. Sure enough thats what it says on the pack. Hate shopping there asda products are gross, only buy branded products if i have to shop there, forgot to tell the person shopping for me. oh and they arent the cheapest, do a virtual shop, with branded products and see who comes out tops.

They did not make me happy. They never arrived at the store. The store staff on customer help desk were abrupt most unhelpful referred me to phone .com line. Person with foreign accent very difficult to understand was to ring me back and leave message all I could get was half a telephone message. I phoned store they tried to put me through to a guy the message came back he was to busy to speak to me had to go to a meeting. Phone .com again a woman told me to accept a refund as there were still the items I wanted. Needless to say there were not. Needless to say I will not shop with them again.
