Worst supermarket terrible customer service!!! Ordered 4 packs of burgers for a bbq they substitute it with ice lollies! When I place an order again for home delivery because I'm 9 months pregnant they cancel it last minute and tell me to re arrange. On calling customer service none of them seem to know what day it is. Will never shop there again!!!

WHY DID I BOTHER!!! DONT WASTE YOUR TIME!!! Well what can I say. I thought I would have to go a long way to find someone worse than tesco but I managed it and they proved me so wrong. Last night I took up one of asdas many offers displayed on their website. The offer was for 4 toilet rolls by andrex for 20p. I placed the maximum amount in the basket that I could and then went on to shop for some more goods to takeit over the delivery threshold. Today I got the delivery... Guess what the toilet rolls had run out.... But wait that isnt a problem because in the terms and conditions it states that they will replace the out of stock item with one of equal or higher quality and value... NO NO NO... The item in question was struck off the order and the delivery driver turned up without it. I was slightly annoyed at this but even more annoyed by the fact that the driver thought this was fine and expected me to accept just half the order... He was swiftly despatched back to the store with my goods and I thought that was the end of that... NO NO NO. On checking my bank after the delivery I find that the money for all the goods has already left my account even though asda states that the money will only be applied for once the delivery is made. Now I dont expect to get my shopping for free but I also dont expect to be charged for items that have not even been picked... So then I ring asda store to sort out the apparent issue. I get put through to one of the store managers who was randomly picked as the home delivery manager was sat at home watching corrie. That manager didnt understand the problem as they stated that they had literally thousands of the item we wanted... Finally I ring the freephone number on the delivery note. Good job it was free as it connects to capetown in south africa. They were as helpfull as the worms in my garden. To sum up I feel that I have been conned and wasted my time totally. I shall go to aldi tomorrow and do a proper shop. DONT WASTE YOUR TIME ON THESE CON MERCHANTS!!! ITS REALLY NOT WORTH IT!!!

DO NOT ONLINE SHOP AT ASDA - I waited in from 12pm - 7pm today for my shopping. I phoned 4 times to find out where my order was and was told by 2 people that my order was on its way, told by the third the truck was stuck in traffic and then the fourth person finally told me at 7pm that my card had declined so my shopping had never even been packaged up!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I waited in all afternoon with a toddler desperate to get out and was lied to three times. really disappointing ASDA!

My son purchased a Polaroid P28LED13 for his 9th birthday with his birthday money and it is now 19 months old and will not switch on. This was purchased from Asda who have been fobbing me off and sending me around in circles it turns out that Polaroid are Asda although staff in store do not seem to realise this as they constantly told me to ring the supplier. To cut a long story short after the warranty is up if they break they are just for the tip no-one is interested in problems with them. If you do purchase a Polaroid TV from Asda be warned that it could just last a year!!! In future I will pay a little bit more to a reputable brand that has a decent service department who do still want to help after warranty!!!!

Very inefficient with their home delivery. Always making a mistake and causing havoc. Either they are late or way early or you will find a few items missing. All this causes stress for the customers and they lose their confidence on them, I definitely have. I will not be using their home delivery any more.

IF YOU VALUE YOUR SANITY SHOP ELSEWHERE. We placed an order ref 25921398 for some items of school uniform on 06.08.15. on Monday 10.08.15 1 item was delivered. This was odd as it was 1 dress and we had ordered 4 of these plus some other items. It is now 17.08.15 and despite 8 call to their call centre and emails to Andy Clarke their CEO we are still no closer to getting the outstanding items. We were very clear that we want to speak to manager at the call centre but this was refused at first then we were told they would call us back. This happen on three seperate days before I email andy clarke ceo andy green senior director responsible for their contact centres, Nick Jones MD for George at Asda and Paul Graves haed of contcat centre operations for Asda. I would have hoped that escalating my complaint to the top after giving the contact centre staff every opportunity to resove the issue would have resulted in some positive action but so far this is not the case. I made it very clear we did not want a refund we wanted the delivery of the outstanding items. I have just received and email from Asda saying I have been refunded! Unbelievable PLEASE PLEASE DO NOT SHOP WITH ASDA ONLINE.

We made our first online order last week and chose the option to collect in store since we both work full time. Our collection slot was 6-8 p.m. At 3.15 p.m. that day I received a call from an Asda delivery man asking if anyone was at home to take delivery. When I told him that I had, in fact, chosen the collect in store option he sounded somewhat bemused and just said "Oh, OK". He assured me that my order would be in my chosen store at the correct time. That evening, we arrived at the store at 7 p.m. to collect our order. 3 bags were brought out. One containing an item of frozen food which had not been kept in a freezer and had consequently defrosted and a tub of butter which, again, had not been kept in a fridge and was starting to melt. I had ordered 8 tubes of hair conditoner which were on offer for 2 for £6. The delivery note stated that only 3 had been delivered. The bags contained only 2 items. We had been wrongly charged. The store manager and assistant did apologise (although to be fair this wasn't totally their fault). The store manager called customer services for us and, after waiting around 15 minutes for someone to pick up the phone, we were told that someone would be in touch. The store refunded me the money for the frozen and chilled items which were now unusable. On returning home, we called Customer Services ourselves and after waiting on the line for 20 minutes for someone to answer our call, the matter was sorted out and a refund promised (which would take 5 working days). At no stage did anyone on the phone offer any sort of apology for our inconvenience or any sort of compensation. Needless to say, we will be sticking with Ocado from now on!

Shame on you Asda! Shocking customer service. Still waiting for a refund from 03\07. We had ordered through the click and collect service as we did not have the time to go in and shop. Turns out, it would have been quicker and less stressful to quickly run in and do it ourselves. We parked at the designated pickup spot and waited and waited and waited(25 min). I wife decided to walk in and find out why we were not being attended to(that took another 10 min). Once my wife returned, we waited another 10 minutes, not an employee in site with our shopping. Then I decided to run in and find out what was taking so long. I got told that they were just busy bringing it over. I decided to cancel the order for a refund, as this was shocking service. Bearing in mind that they claim its easy! This is the what they claim: " The easy way to shop With Click & Collect at Asda, simply order online and then pick up your shopping at a time that suits you. We’ll take as much care choosing the juiciest apples and freshest bread as you would and we’ll have it all packed and ready for you." Well it doesn't work at ASDA Cribbs Causeway! We were promised that the refund would be done on the next Monday. Still waiting after 2 calls to customer services. I wonder how much interest ASDA earn out of all the refunds that are waiting to be processed??? I would not recommend ASDA to any one expecting even the bear minimum of customer service.

The only reason I used Asda for 2 years (stupidly) was because they were so cheap, and their own branded nappies fitted my daughter so much better than any other leading or supermarket brand. All together I have had at least 10 problems using this supermarket. Ranging from out of date milk for my toddler being delivered, to shopping arriving with half missing, to on at least 4 occasions my shop not even turning up at all. The max I have had to wait for my missing or non existant order to arrive was 3 DAYS!!!!! I've been pushed from pillar to post on the phone, slammed, told i would be called back and never have been, had managers promise me compensation which I've never ever recieved. I've had drivers breaking down on me, I've even had other peoples items delivered to me! I've threatoned to stop using Asda for so long now that finally today was the last straw. I'm 7 months pregnant and have a 2 year old and after waiting 2 days for the chilled (and most important) section of this weeks shop to arrive, I finally flipped my lid and demanded to my husband we move to Tesco's. I think Asda are THE most unprofessional supermarket I have ever used, the home delivery service is an absolute joke run and staffed by a load of clowns who dont know what the other ends doing half the time. The drivers cant wait to knock off and let the staff the following day deal with their cock ups, and the managers need to go back on management training! They may aswell not bother offering this service as they are clearly awful at it. So bad they we're on Watchdog! Says it all really. Steer clear if you dont want to go grey quickly.

The Asda at Fosse Park is great but I'm giving the Oadby branch just 1 star after mistreating my parents that are both in there late 70's. After they had taken a radio to checkout that had a big display price at £20.57 only to end up being told it's in fact £35 and was priced wrong, the manager decided for the sake of losing £14.43 he would take the entire display of and getting real abrupt and narky with my parents. I can say, after years of them shopping there they now will be shopping elsewhere.

i am disgusted. i bought sandwich filling from asda earlier today, and as i opened it, i discovered a maggot inside. this is disturbed me, as asda takes pride in there items, but obviously don't proof check properly. i fail to comprehend why it was in there. this has now made me have a negative view, and i will no longer be attending. you should feel disgusted.

Was due £10.92 from online delivery as substituted champagne glasses were not wanted. Complaint began on 31st May 2015. Called on 3 separate occasions to be told I had to take the glasses (which I had never ordered, spending my petrol and my time) back to the store before I could get my refund. The rude CS person told me I should have checked the glasses before the driver left. Considering I was never advised by the driver there were substitutions in my delivery made that arrangement quite impossible unless I had been psychic!! Finally told complaint would be escalated to Burgh Heath Manager and to await a call. Its now 22 June 2015 ...still waiting .........................

The online grocery shopping customer service is disappointing. After more than a week of no delivery of my order and calling every day to speak either to customer service or the store itself, I was offered a 5 quid voucher for my inconvenience.......completely disappointing and changing supermarket immediately!!!
