“As good customers we think it important that the staff are helpful. At Clayton Green Asda we had to return a parcel to Amazon, and as we are getting on a little we went to the parcel return. The parcel was obviously too large to fit into the metal container. There wasn't a sign to say that Amazon parcels need to be taken to a nearby counter. Fortunately, a staff member called Stephen, was passing and noticed our difficulty. He took charge of the parcel, carried out the necessary procedure with a smile on his face. He should be commended for being so helpful and pleasant. He does Asda proud”

“Was in my local Asda this evening, paying by cash on self service but there was a problem. Member of staff came straight over to help. She was having trouble trying to sort it and was calling on her earpiece for help.
Another customer was having problem with her till, and needed someone to login, she started off by being rude to the Asda lady helping me. accusing her of standing around, swore at her and insulted her by saying she was nothing as she only works at Asda. Was a vile woman, even threatening me with pointy finger, when i told her to wait her turn and she being out of order
My point is everyday people working in retail receive abuse mainly from entitled lowlifes it is bound to affect them.

“We shopped in Asda South Shields on Friday October 25th at lunchtime at the height of chaos as the Asda app was not working. We use scan and go and on arriving at the checkout we needed help to load our shopping and use offers we had available. An assistant called Sarah (a runner perhaps?) came to help us and all the other shoppers as we all needed assistance. We were very impressed with how she handled an extremely stressful situation by remaining calm and efficient. She worked through all the shoppers problems and was very friendly to everyone. Thanks so much for your help Sarah, it was much appreciated.”

“I shopped today in Rochdale I went to pay using a hand held gun but unfortunately the screen froze as did a few others ! and after numerous failed attempts to rectify it I was taken to an empty checkout and had to put my items through and pay that way although this had added an extra 30 minutes in all to my stay I would just like to say Thankyou to Lydia and Bernadette the 2 colleagues who dealt with me they were courteous and professional and even though it wasn’t their fault Bernadette apologised for the inconvenience I would hope that both these ladies where shown this email they deserve a pat on the back for working under such conditions”
