“Bought a pizza from the make your own counter, I have never tasted such a bland, untastful pizza, processed ham, tasteless pineapple and cheese all slopped in the middle of a pizza tastless base, I think its time asda started putting the costomers input first and use fresh sliced ham, tasty real pineapple, and all fresh toppings, and not use an ice cream scoop for portion control, the staff on this counter at Scunthorpe Burrigham Road, are like robots, they ask what toppings you want and then it's a pre set routine from then on, I will never ever buy that rubbish again, old pizza out the garbage tastes better, disgusted, sort yourself out Asda 0 is what score I would give and thats too much.and Im not after a refund or gift voucher just to change my mind, just change pizza's please, I shop at Morrisons now much better.”
“Great! About time!! Good for Morrisons. Don't hold your breath for Asda to follow suit though. Read below from Daily Mail. Just a tiny bit of a big article...........Now, one of the big four supermarkets is bringing back staff at 1,000 ‘express’ checkouts in response to shopper anxiety about using the self-scan tills.
The move is part of a drive by Morrisons to improve personal service and win back shoppers who have deserted to no-frills budget stores like Aldi and Lidl. END. Shoppers at this very expensive chain (asda) can easily force the hand of this company by refusing to use self service.”
“Was not allowed to use toilets nower else in the vicinity and was shopping in asda at the time was told toilets shut at 6 but store open til 10 or 11 at nite. Ridiculous! I am a disabled pensioner n am disgusted with asda staff.will never go ther again”
“I went into Asda in Folkestone today and was totally shocked at their prices for everything. Morrisons is bad enough but this really is way over the top. Not just their food prices either but electricals etc also. For instance...a Morphy Richards soup maker was seling for £65!! yep, that's what I said, £65. I paid £40 for mine elsewhere. I would say where but cannot remember. It was not long ago. To add insult to injury nearly all the checkouts were self service. I have never ever seen so many in any other supermarket. If they want to do that they should offer discounts for using them. After all, the are saving a mass of money aren't they. How? Because for every self service checkout they are saving one employees wages. Go figure. What has happened is that their prices continue to rocket. Thank goodness they were not allowed to merge with Sainsburys!! Needless to say I did not buy anything.”
“Well Well Well ! :(
Well Well Well ! What a total disaster Asda online are eh ! Yep you guessed it ! My order was cancelled as they were "out of stock "and after talking with some very poorly trained and unconcerened "Customer service person" ! who insisted on talking over me ! I was told
1. They were out of stock
2. They are not a wholesaler ! Seriously that is what I was told !
I ordered £60 worth of coffee .. the only brand I drink..... and it was on offer and it was in stock when I ordered it 3 days ago and this morning on the day of delivery they charged my card... It was extremely inconvenient for me to arrange to be home at delivery time as I could have spent the whole day in Brighton.. so it was total waste of my time !
And then they had the audacity to offer me 4 free deliveries over the next 4 weeks ! Ha Ha and trust them again ?
Judging by ALL the very similar reviews ... I am not alone .... and that is just the folk who bothered to leave one ! The rest of disappointed and let down customers dIdn't even bother... they just won't use Adsa ever again ! I can tell you this Asda , that the most imortant people who walk through your doors and shop online are us ! your most important assets and without us you are nothing ! Sadly this is the way you appear to be going ! Will I get answered,Will I get a satisfactory conclusion ? will it even be escalated ? I won't hold my breath....
P.S ! They just sent me a customer service questionaire ... Why ? Will they follow it up ?”
“Don’t expect people to pay full price for products if you can’t afford a single cashier, taking 20+ items to self checkout is ridiculous, every other item needs to be approved by staff ( oreos, raspberries...) 5th time staff had to assist i left, not shopping at Mandeville Road Asda store ever again”
“Not only the drive didn't ring the bell when got here, called he just drove away. 1h after the estimated time I called the customer service. Patricia hung up on me... the 2 lady put me on hold for over 10 minutes... the only useful person was Alan who actually helped. The online shopping was designed for make life easy and in stress free for costumers. I guess Asda's didn't got the memo...”
“Ordered Click and Collect from ASDA Westbrook Warrington, I was kept waiting over 35 minutes despite several complaints to the Customer Service desk lady, who I have to say seemed to find it rather amusing. Click and Collect, Click and Wait would be more appropriate.”
“My delivery due to some online fault was booked for wrong time! So obviously I missed it!! They couldn't rearrange it for the same day. Only for the following! Even when I explained that it wasn't me to blame. Furious I am. They definitely lost their big and loyal client. 😤😡🤯”
“Got a buy back guarantee when I exchanged some pounds to euros a few weeks ago. Have been to the bureau de change at asda Trafford Park twice already to get my left over euros changed back to pounds and have still not been able to do it.
The first time the desk was closed: back in 3hours, today they didn’t have enough money in the till to do the exchange.... I only have €40 to change!! Ridiculous. Will be complaining to the store manager if my guarantee runs out before I can change them back”
“I bought some of your own brand sparkling sugar free lemon and lime - any chance of putting ANY flavour in it?? It's sparkling I'll grant you that but there's absolutely no flavour in it whatsoever.”
“Ridiculous, just gone to get euros and needed my id to pay with card but she said if I came with cash I wouldn’t need id. Also if I spent 500 on my card in store I don’t need id - mad mad mad 😡 she said it was fraud, myself not sure they understand what fraud means !!!!!!”
“At the Angmering store. I was accused of having a fake ID. Secondly, she said my friends and I were stupid even though we were all in university merchandise and she was sat behind a till in Asda in her awful bright yellow gilet. I want you to find her and have her fired with immediate effect.”
“My delivery came 20 mins late even though I paid for a slightly more expensive time, the driver did not apologise at all. Infact he had very negative body language and I felt as though I was bothering him as oppose to him being there to help. The delivery arrived “not” in bags as requested. Whom ever packed this, did not give a damn. They literally put a solitary bag of crisps in a whole bag, whilst the heavier items such 2 litre bottles were left loose. Then my substitution of a 700ml Barcardi instead of litre.......really? Why not just refund it? It’s one thing giving you a like for like sub, but a lesser sub which cost wise isn’t a deal at all, what’s the point? ASDA refunds take ages so if they deliver something you don’t want and your not rich enough to buy it again your left without, until the refund kicks in one to two weeks later. So if it’s a poor substitute just refund it instantly and get ahead of the process. Who ever runs the Birmingham delivery depot needs talking too. I need a different supermarket to shop with. I suggest everyone does the same. We are passed Mediocre service with the amount of money we spend on items. We deserve better.”
“im not happy with your service i tried to buy something online. my delivery date and time was june 10 8pm to 9pm. i was home all day sat in my living room from half 7pm till 9pm because i dont want to
miss my delivery. then half 9 still didnt turn up. check my email and it says its been delivered. so i rang costumer service and explain everything. the lady i was talking to says the delivery man couldn’t find my adress when really my house is exactly outside the street how can your delivery man couldn’t find it? so rearrange delivery slot on the 11th june from 10 to 11am then i check my email to fine that i have to pay bag and pick £4 from my previous delivery slot it was only £2 but why would i pay £4 for your own mistake or your driver’s mistake? do u think its fair? NO!!!!! so i cancel the order. check my bank today and you’ve taken the money out my bank for the item i dont have??? are u out of your mind??? you have got no right to do that ASDA!!!! now i want my money back. never again again”
“Gave one star but not because of all staff in shop. Some like to say I would f**k that when you sing on their way behind closed doors.
Others are just too darn nosey.
Drivers also that are italian or jewish or rich call you a slag because of their or others criminal activity, HOOLIGANS, Worshipers”
“Once again items in incorrect places with incorrect prices, when I challenged price the person in Asda Boldon spoke to me like something on the bottom of her shoe, people skills terrible, customer service skills even worse and her supervisor was not any better, when I rang customer services they were not interested either, they wonder why people shop elsewhere, take a look at your staff and train them to speak civilly for a start. I would have not even given one star but you have to rate before you can leave comments .”
“Over the past 6 weeks I have been monitoring Asda's use of single use plastics in food packaging The list I have compiled is staggering. I am appalled at this discovery. Asda is not alone in this and I find it hard to believe that alternative packaging cannot be sourced, or even better, abolish prepacked foods altogether. Come on Asda and all other food supermarket chains, for the planet's sake, do something about it!”
