“I would like to commend Julia who works at your store in Leyton Mills. I am 74 and vulnerable. I have been ordering online once a month during lockdown. Julia has very kindly kept me topped up with milk bread and fruit and anything else I have needed. On her way home from work she has left the goods on my doorstep. She is so kind and helpful that I don’t know how I would have managed without her during this difficult time. She deserves a medal.

I have tried each supermarket delivery and Asda exceeds all others, especially regards all the lovely drivers, each one of them have been 100%, also stock availability and slots. Well this is the first time I have ever relied on any one to get my shopping… I 78 years old an ex miner with lung problems and after I left the NCB I went into chemical industry (Electro plating) that wasn’t any good for my health ether and I had part of my nose eaten away with a “Chrome ulcer” so a bit of a mess and always tried to be independent.
I decided to “Try” your service as I’m a bit worried about the virus, well your staff at the pickup (I think her name was Linder) … what a super girl (Lady) You should be proud to have that good a staff member.

Shopping in store at a smaller branch has been hassle free and social distancing measures and a one way system is in place. Huge thank you to the asda staff for their dedication during the last few months.”
