“Thank you once again to Asda for excellent grocery delivery - spot on time by driver Barry an older gentlemen who was so pleasant and friendly and helped as much as he could within the social distancing would allow! It was a very hot day too not an easy job all things considered - helpful regards substitutes and I received refund the same day. I have tried each supermarket delivery and Asda exceeds all others, especially regards all the lovely drivers, each one of them have been 100%, also stock availability and slots. Needless to say it will be Asda from now on - stay safe and thank you all again for excellent customer service.”

Well this is the first time I have ever relied on any one to get my shopping… I 78 years old an ex miner with lung problems and after I left the NCB I went into chemical industry (Electro plating) that wasn’t any good for my health ether and I had part of my nose eaten away with a “Chrome ulcer” so a bit of a mess and always tried to be independent.
I decided to “Try” your service as I’m a bit worried about the virus, well your staff at the pickup (I think her name was Linder) … what a super girl (Lady) You should be proud to have that good a staff member.
The service was fantastic and I will always sing your praise.

Shopping in store at a smaller branch has been hassle free and social distancing measures and a one way system is in place. Huge thank you to the asda staff for their dedication during the last few months.”

Iv only had one or two substitutes in my order, and these have always been reasonable and acceptable.

“I did have a problem today with my delivery, driver left with out delivering goods I called the 0800 number and was told that it had been delivered down stair and I must go and collect 10 floors down, when I went down there was no shopping, I called back the 0800 number and he said it has been delivered and they would have to investigate, I went on to call Clapham junction branch customer service and the lady who answered was very nice and told me to hold on and she would put me through to the drivers dept, when the gentleman came on the phone he was so nice it was like he knew who was calling and said we would never leave you shopping downstairs unattended that is not what Asda do, I have your shopping here I will try and get it to you today or tomorrow and I will call and let you know . With in 30 min of that call my shopping was at my door so I have awarded 5 stars for the gentlemen at Clapham junction Thank you for your kindness today. and the 0800 number no stars as they were so unhelpful.”

It's always a good idea, whatever your are shopping for, to look for Asda's own brand version. Usually as good or better than the other brands.
Our local Asda, at Castlepoint, Bournemouth, is amazingly good, the staff are friendly and helpful, and the produce so much fresher than our other local supermarkets.
We are oldies so we are reliant, just now, during Covid-19 lockdown, upon Asda for delivering shopping to our door. Like everything else that Asda do, the service is wonderful.

“ASDA Cambridge Beehive really went the extra mile for me today, after a mistake with my click and collect order I was unable to return to store to make a second collection.... after initially having a few frustrating interactions, I was passed through to Bianca, one of the store managers..... she really went above and beyond for me and my family.... and bought my items to my home personally ..... amazing!! As a key worker with a disabled child, this was such a relief, I also received a lovely bunch of flowers and gift card for the mistake , Fantastic customer service ASDA..... your employees Bianca and not forgetting Steve (who carefully re- picked my shopping) need to be recognised for their efforts in putting things right..... give these two a raise!! 😇”
“Thank you to the click and collect staff at both Ashton Under Lyne stores. I can see you haven't got it easy and are doing your absolute best. The staff at the small store in Hurst Cross that we use most have been amazing. The first time we collected, we parked in the wrong place and didnt ring the number. They were friendly, professional, rushed off their feet but really eager to help. It's important stuff, we have a cancer patient here that isn't on the vulnerable list so we are relying on this service. We have had things be out of stock or substituted too. It doesn't bother us, I dont know what people expect in a global crisis situation. We appreciate you! Hope that Asda thank them in some way.”

“Poor service again in Asda South Woodham Ferrers. Refused a sale of alcohol to my son even though he had his driving license. The reason given was that his younger brother was with him. Sainsbury’s far superior with no draconian jumped up staff!!”
