“Absolutely the worst online grocery company ever, please refer to my comments pin trustpilot. This company is a total joke. I contracted food poisoning due to Asda and they didn’t care”
“Tried to return a broken microwave. Staff went from being dismissive and unhelpful to downright aggressive and intimidating. This company is not respecting it's customers.”
“the worst service ever
, poorly trained employees the customer service is a shame everyone who my wife calls to try to solve the situation all the employees tell you something different and your situation is not resolved and the frustration only increases when you asks to talking to the manager or supervisor he still knows less that everyone and in no way helps you except "your complaint will be forwarded to the office"
my wife paid extra to have things earlier
at home, the driver who came to deliver things rang the doorbell and my wife opened the door
she went down the stairs with the baby to see the driver and he just sat in the van for 10mints and left
my wife has been talking to the customer service on the phone since 7:50 am and everyone who answered the phone always had something different to say in short, nothing was resolved for me to arrive at 10 pm from work and see my hungry son crying because the purchases had not arrived
nobody is responsible
nobody does anything
sincerely with this level of service and professionals, admires Asda's open doors
it's a shame
I will not recommend it to anyone and I will write a bad review every day until we reach 100% of bad review
SHAMEFUL, WORST company ever
Don't buy nothing from here”
“If you live on a first floor massionett please dont shop at asda, as driver buzzes, and then disappears or dump the shopping as it's too much like hard work to phone and say what end of blocks he's at or that he's unable to delivery to your door, plus they no longer use bag for delivery so all big joke really.. they need to put it in capital letter in term and condition for idiots like myself. Never re ceived, presume driver either return or kept products.”
“Not any staff available to help me 9.10 am 8th may 2021
Unhappy that Asda not opening anymore till 8.00am unlike sainsbury and Tesco.
Will have to shop in Sainsbury’s in future as they still open at 7.00am”
“Redeemed a voucher for £50 but didn't receive my shopping. They kept asking me to provide the same information. I am NOT employed by Asda to do their work!!! No wonder their adverts used to pat their back pocket - it's OUR money these bandits have unlawfully pocketed.”
“Bought a cooked quiche from Asda.I took a couple of bites and realised it was not cooked all the way through.Spent the next day throwing up,made me really ill.Would never buy a quiche from Asda again. The quantity of their food has gone down hill.”
“Oldham chadderton asda I am shocked by your standards and how they’ve slipped you need to educate yourself and your staff how to store food and maintain its freshness I was a regular customer spending £30 three times a week on mostly organic items I’ve always wondered why my food would go off within a day when there’s a long date and this doesn’t happen when I get my veg from other stores like Tesco or Sainsbury’s. I’ve seen crates of milk outside the fridge so someone’s just left it there rather than putting milk in and I was stood there 15mins but no one came. I’ve worked for asda myself and I know when milk or chilled items are out of fridge over 20mins they get thrown away as ‘damaged’ I’ve thrown away food MANY times I also have multiple health problems so I cant just go back out and get food from somewhere especially when I’ve spent that much money time and energy I’ll be talking to food standards, you have lost a loyal customer as you wernt so loyal”
“In January I told a security guard as someone who is 80 that I couldn't understand why he wasn't wearing a mask He then yelled I was banned
A week later he chased me yelling you are banned
Amazingly the manager told the pharmacist not to do my prescription
The pharmaceutical Council are now investigating
Im shocked at such treatment totally inexplicable”
“My husband bought me a bunch of flowers that cost £12. I would not have paid £5 for them might have looked ok in wrapper, just heather twigs and 3 roses really disappointed.”
“My wife and I went to ASDA this morning after my wife got off from work and taking our kid to school. We did our groceries and was at the self check-out counter when we realized we forgot to bring bags with us to put all that we bought. I figured to use their shopping basket to put all the items, go to our car once finished, unload all that we bought in a bag we have in the car and return the basket. That simple! But the lady manning the check-out counter did not allow us to use the basket to take out of the store. It is their new policy. My wife said it was fine and that we'll just buy their plastic bags. To our surprise they did not have any, and they won't allow us to use their basket. The person manning that area, who wasn't very nice and not being apologetic, did not even bother to go and find bags for us, customers, to use. We had to hug all that we bought out of the shop, some dropping as we reached our car. ASDA, whatever happened to your slogan 'Happy to help'? Are your shopping baskets made of gold that you're afraid customers will take them home?
I have experienced rude staffs in the past and I have had enough. I think that is it for us shopping at ASDA”
“I put a delivery order in a week ago and only found out four days before Easter that all of the chocolate eggs that I had ordered and paid for were now out of stock or unavailable. If I ordered an item a week ago I would expect to get it. So now I have no eggs for Easter. Thank you Asda.”
“I've given up ordering a delivery, they're always out of stock on the regular things I buy. Recently shopped with Tesco instead and I wasn't disappointed.”
“TWO TIMES IN A ROW THE DRIVER HAS CANCELLED OUR ORDER AT 10PM WHEN DELIVERY SLOT WAS 8-10PM !!!!! FOR NO REASON OTHER THAN HE WAS LATE!!!!
DO NEVER EVER ORDER FROM ASDA!!!!!!
DO NEVER EVER ORDER FROM ASDA!!!!!!
DO NEVER EVER ORDER FROM ASDA!!!!!!
DO NEVER EVER ORDER FROM ASDA!!!!!!”
“This morning I had a phone call from the Asda delivery driver (I live in a flat) saying I'd have to come downstairs and get the food order because he's not allowed to enter any communal area, I replyed "I can't, I'm disabled", he then just repeated himself. His statement, I believe, has to be his own lazyness invention, he couldn't be bothered to walk up one flight of stairs.
I could hear the attitude in his voice, so just said "take the order back", to which he, sarcastically replied, thank you.
What he said meant that anybody in the uk, maybe world, who lives in a flat / appartment / multi occupance property will never ever get an Asda delivery again.
All this means to me is, I'll never shop in / from Asda again, perhaps anyone else that lives in my circumstances, flat etc, should change their online shopping arrangements before they get let down by surly Asda staff.
Oh, by the way, I was let down by Asda today, but got back on my laptop to order from another supermarket chain, getting it tomorrow, big deal, Asda's loss.

“Placed an order of £119 for delivery yesterday was delivery date 17/3/21 between 4pm and 5pm. No delivery happened so by 6.30pm I rang customer services to be told I was not in for delivery which I was I need the order as it has baby milk on and nappies however was told in no uncertain terms they would not redeliver the order would be cancelled and I'd have to wait for refund!! So after a while of no1 even trying to understand or help i hung up today 18/3/21 i checked status of delivery to see it states delivered again a LIE, so rang customer services again at 7.05am to be asked if I'd had any texts or emails to say delivery was out for delivery and nope I have not nothing still nothing now and its currently 11.50am. Guy said he would check so he did and tells me it wasnt delivered it was a problem with the banking system how I dont know as it was an online gift card but yea ok liars, again I'm told to wait 24hours for a cancellation email then a further 3-5days this is not good enough I have 4 children he apologized but a sorry but that was all he could offer a sorry wont put food in my kids mouths and nappies on the 2 little ones. So now I have no groceries no money to reorder and anxiety that's through the roof wondering what the hell I'm going to do. How come they cant just re-issue my order and put it on the next delivery why should I be made to pay again which I physically cannot do as i dont get paid until end of next week!!”
“AWFUL SERVICE!!
After placing an order 6 days in advanced, I did not receive my shop on the selected day. I called them to know what was happening and they promised that I would receive my order 1 hour later. It never happened!! Not only that, they did not even bother to call and let me know about it. Waiting since 12pm for a shop that never came.
What is the point of offering delivery when in reality they donot care at all about their clients?
Previously I also had other bad experience, they messed up another order with 7 items missing and 4 substitutes.
I do not recommend ASDA at all! They lack of professionalism and respect towards their clients, you better try Sainsbury's, Morrisons, Ocado.”
