We were expecting order n. 2512495000425 to be delivered today in the time window between 7pm and 8pm. At 6.50pm, prior to the time window we set, we were informed by the driver that he had arrived at the address and was waiting for us. My wife responded to his call and informed your driver that I was on my way and would be home soon. Your driver told my wife that he would leave and would complete his journey first, deliberately putting our order at the end of some queue, after which he would deliver our groceries. I arrived at the address at the expected time - 7pm. From 9.10pm on we tried to contact the driver multiple times, but to no avail. At about 9.30pm we contacted the Asda Customer Service, to be informed that our order was cancelled. Your operator kindly suggested that we place a new order instead. Clearly, Asda expects their customers to accommodate their shortcomings. Despite being at the intended address within the intended time, your driver decided that we would not receive our order because his priority was to complete his journey as soon as possible. I am not going to waste any words describing how appalling and inacceptable this is. After 4 years of regular fortnightly orders - which you can easily verify on your system - I would like to inform you that this will be our last order with Asda.

A holding price of £99 is ludicrous for pay at the pump petrol, for over 30 years I spend an average of £90 per week on fuel and I 100% will avoid any Asda petrol at all cost. Once again £99 holding charge is crazy and extremely terrible business. How do you think this is acceptable.

Shocking delivery service and follow up customer service that I certainly won’t be using again and avoid anyone else to steer clear of. Order never turned up. No communication. Complaint to customer service who assured a call back from store in the hour. That never happened. Ordered again (only as had to use some vouchers). Lo and behold - not turned up at all on next day. Couldn’t make it up. Phone system for help is also a joke. It sounds like the sort of system put together by someone in a shack rather than a multi billion £ company. Tin pot solutions. No justification for shoddiness like this in todays competitive market.

I was refused entry at your shore road store. The store clearly says that it closes at 6pm on a Sunday I arrived at 5.53pm and as I said I was refused entry. I literally wanted to grab one thing but was told no! I would have let it go but this is the third time this has happened to me at the same store and I find it odd that each time I was refused it was the security guards decision!! I’m writing this review as I am hoping that the management become aware of this as I’m sure I’m not the only customer this has happened to. Don’t advertise your opening hours as they are if the store isn’t gonna abided to them!!

Had to abandon my shopping at the scan and go after being selected for a quality check and just being ignored, staff made eye contact and continued to chat. You would think unloading the whole trolley on the floor in the shop and go area would have been a hint but they didn't bite. I went into store as the previous delivery from there most of the fresh food was going off that day and I didn't want to experience that again. Called the Indian call centre who put my through to the manager who just hung up on me. Please dont spend your money with companies like this.

After not receiving half of my shopping I put in a request for a refund for those items I didn't receive Rejected. Spoke to someone at customer services who said they would refund me in full and send a £5 apology voucher (therefore accepting liability). I got the voucher and only 13 of the 28 items refunded (the cheapest items). Spoke to someone else who has said the rest are with the claim team to review. So now out of food and out of pocket. Wonderful.

I have no grievance with Asda South Shields But be warned On 27/01/24 We were looking for a Mermaid cake at the Benton Branch in Newcastle As they had none we were advised by a member of staff that there was one available at Boldon and 3 available at South Shields We went to Boldon - sold We went to South Shields ( not knowing where Asda was ) and came to a roundabout at Mill Dam to have Asda in view on right We proceeded into car park 12.30.47 commenting how quiet car park was and entered store Very pleased -Mermaid cake was there and we did other ad hoc shopping Left 13.29.09 Yesterday on our mat was a Parking Eye fine of £70 for illegal parking Hindsight says we should have observed that Parking Eye was utilised However we did not - Benton free Boldon free - why would we think we had to pay at South Shields Once again - not Asda fault This is a reason why South Shields in a town in decline - we will not be back and advise any person to spar wide

Home delivery, spent £170 and £50 chilled foods missing. After half dozen phonecalls to somewhere that was not in the UK, they refunded me £35. NOT GOOD ENOUGH ASDA, YOUVE LOST A GOOD LOYAL CUSTOMER. I WOULDNT RECOMMEND THEM TO ANYBODY FOR HOME DELIVERIES. THEY COULDNT CARE LESS

Asda Stonecot GSM Vania Faria Extremely Poor Customer service and no People Skills! I can’t believe how this woman Vania Faria (former Operational Manager at the Asda Wallington store) has been promoted as a GSM at the Asda Stonecot Hill store despite humongous online reviews complaints and social posts made against her of which all the senior management directors are fully aware of but refuse to act a classic case of unfairness bias and hypocrisy

I shop at Asda quite often and I think I will replace Asda with another supermarket. More and more often I discover that the goods on the shelves have a lower price than at the checkout. Or buy two products for the price of one or three for the price of two. after checking the receipt, no difference was deducted and I paid full price. this is an absolutely disgusting practice. try to avoid Asda, they talk a lot and loud about saving money, but in reality they are robbing you

Asda Head Office doesn’t like deal to deal with customers complaints so they employ foreign workers in the main Asda customer service centre who don’t speak English very well and the background you can hear a guy with a English accent in the background talking intercepting the call this only happens when you make a complaint about Asda Wallington try it and see what I am talking please experience this for yourself.

It doesn't matter whether you place your order one week before the delivery date or on the same day,you are guaranteed to receive a text and email, notifying you, that some of your items aren't in stock(despite them always been available at the time of your order)and replacements have been issued. I have NEVER had everything I've ordered delivered,NEVER!! They treat online shoppers as second class customers. On.....don't bother complaining,as they ignore you(tells you exactly what they think of their customers!!).
