“utter rubbish broadstairs store..always have empty shelves and things on line are not in store..well done for that.Checkouts are slow and god forbid if you get any eye contact from them..awful wont be using again.Wonder if the staff are like this after signing their new contracts..Asda= walmart..rubbish”
“Asda .....you’re a disgrace.
I waited for my order, I received a phone call at 8.02 from the driver who said that he couldn’t find my flat and that I should ring him in 5 minutes- which I did, he didn’t pick up. I rang Asda and Asda notified me that this untruthful driver told them he had delivered but I wasn’t in. My delivery was cancelled, I was fuming! They lady I spoke to on the phone “apologised” and said she would send me a £5 voucher for the bother. She did not. I asked her to cancel the order, she said she would and so I hanged up. She did not cancel my order. So I rang back again where I was met with another lady, I told her I hadn’t received the voucher, she sent it. Then I discussed with her that seeing as my order hadn’t been cancelled I would like the delivery to come the following day between 7-9am in the morning. She said that was fine then she “booked” it and took a SECOND payment. This morning I waited and noticed there was 15 minutes left and though I better check the delivery status.......this lady had booked my delivery for a DIFFERENT day....... you can imagine my thoughts and feelings. I immediately rang back and this third ladies answer was we have no bookings for today can you do click and collect.......what a disgrace and a poor excuse for customer service team department. I still have not recieved my money back....... ASDA you’re a disgrace and no doubt you will shut down soon.
Get your act together get trustworthy and competent staff before you loose the last shreds of respect the public have for you
Do NOT shop online with ASDA. Absolutely RUBBISH”
“Every time I do an online shop so may items unavailable. I don’t get told of unavailable items till hour before delivery due. Being a disabled person online shopping is essential to me. But having 11 items this time missing form a 40 item shop.. Meeting I’m going to have to do another online shop meaning another delivery charge. And don’t have the food it need for several more days. 2 times before also several items missing. Not enough notice to cancel the order. Costing me an extra delivery. Not had this problem with other online food shopping. Being disabled this is a real pain having to do and pay for an extra shop. As ASDA seem unavailable to ever complete an order. Would not mind so much if just 1or 2 items. But 11 items missing form a 40 shop not good”
“We recently placed an online food order to arrive when we got back form our holiday. We had booked the delivery from 8pm - 9pm. It got to 9pm and I hadn't heard anything. I kept checking my phone just to see if there had called me, but nothing. I rang customer service and the person I spoke to was extremely unhelpful and advised me that the driver had called round at 7.45pm and that there had been no answer so they left. I can't believe no one contacted me about this and it was left to me to find out what had happened. I have since contacted asda and haven't been offered any gesture of goodwill and not even an apology. We will stick to Morrisons and Sainsburys who never fail to deliver.”
“My friend and I had lunch in the Cafe they had no small coffee cups we had to have a small coffee in a large cup, no serviettes (we asked and was told there wasn’t any)
I asked for a brown roll with my soup but was told they only did white
Really poor !”
“I placed my Xmas booze order (their prices were too good to resist) for delivery from the Wisbech store but half of it was missing even though they'd charged my debit card for the lot. The driver was very helpful but obviously all he could do was direct me to their call centre. I don't know where ADSA's call centre is but the person who dealt with my call didn't speak proper English. Just been on the phone for 15 minutes and they've arranged to deliver the balance at 9:20pm tonight. No real apology involved - it was like I was just being a nuisance.
After I complained they changed the order on my ASDA account to show the revised delivery but my bank account shows they're still trying to charge me for goods worth £60 that haven't been delivered!
Just a bunch of incompetent crooks!”
“If I had read the reviews first I wouldn’t of bothered. Shopped on line for the first time. Did a shop of essential bits but then received an e mail saying I could amend. I did this thinking save me a run to town. They took the money the eve before delivery which was only for the original items. I checked and showed amending so assumed that would be the case as balance was showing the added items. However no, only original items turned up. Non of my add ons. I called and they said a glich. No offer of picking the items again and sending out in theory on a delivery I had paid for.
Also the bank have the money pending to them again yet already left account!! Today I have spoken to a few people and have all said they know of customers with hassles who struggle to get the refunds!
Lesson learnt will not use ASDA again for this service. On a plus side the delivery lady was very pleasant!”
“Never again online shopping food steal near £170 money our bank twice time this month then overdraft charge me did refund once but other one still waited we not very happy they website not safe
Need sort it now”
“I will never be using asda home shopping ever again due a delivery between 2 and 4 no sigh of it so rang them due to lack of drivers you will not be getting your delivery today no phone call at all from them I have 2 young children to feed as well”
“I used to shop at Asda until I found out that they are not sticking up with the usual items people need. The way they are currently treating their staff is appalling, yet they blame the downturn in sales is due to the Brexit. What a load of rubbish. If you don’t stick up the shelves with what we want and you have non] concern for your staff then people will turn away.
My sister was shouted at by the customer service person with regards to an item she bought, then told to leave by security.
Others saw what was happening and they all said they won’t shop at Asda again.
Appalling way to treat not only the public but their staff.I won’t be shopping there again. I’ve noticed the car park in Asda, Melksham is more empty these days. Have you also noticed that the end of use date for bread is being reduced, fruit veg is not so good these days.
You can always shop at Sainsbury’s, Aldi, Lidl, or Iceland.
Is Asda going bust.com”
“Staff in asda newtownards all need to be trained in how to deal with customers.how to be well groomed clean personal hygene classes for asda staff newtownards a must .most important to be personaly hygenic around food stuff.they need boundry skills
in the customer care and wen serving .poor behaviour poor grooming .give me tescos anytime.”
“Customer service at Ards shopping center is non exsitant. Instead you are subjected to rude inappropriate overbearing intrusive behaviour. Eg having conversation with husband as going through checkout .female on till decided to join in .omg who is she.we just ignored her.eg another occasion speaking to my husband again as goung through checkouts telling him how glad i was that my fav friut juice in stock again wen female till worker joins in saying iam sure u cant wait to get a vodca with your juice.informed her i tea total just the way she said it made me sound like an avid hardended drinker omg who r these people no boundaries and she insurting her self in your conversation rude inappropriate she should focased on her body odour (rank)dirty finger nails unkept hair and body image spend some time on her appearance.
Eg staff members pushing up against us knocking us backwards as they come through cheek out the wrong way as short cut to enter store .my husband has been embarrassed many many times as different female staff members have had body contact with him tantamount to sexual harresment. If he was to be the one brushing up against them iam sure the police would be called .asda staff members have no boundaries rude ignorrent I'll mannerd bunch.most in need of a good wash and hair brush.the amount of dirty finger nails in that store is sickening. Then we have the in store baker i have never seen any one so dirty looking and unkept no sense of personal hygiene wat so ever. has put me of in store bakery itams for life. Asda staff loud rude dirty looking bunch with extreme inappropriate behaviour”
“I have struggled for a month to get a refund. I called 6 times, each time I had to waste 20minutes from my time to explain my issues and all I got was promises. In the end I had to make a formal complaint. Avoid shopping online from Asda as they send expired food, swap items and you got missing items as well.”
“Fireworks absolutely lethal they are me an my grandad every year put too and he always buy asda and i buy lidils second time now the fireworks av really caused danger to my children by coming towards us an outing a hole in her pants shes 4 I do not reccomend them at all lidil all the way!! But asda service in general no problem at all always helpful but I think the cafe is going down hill!!”
“Awful Pork, Awful Packaging, Awful Customer Care. Having bought a pork joint from Asda at the weekend, I was disappointed to find that the cooking instructions are actually within the label and that you're invited to peel it back to find the cooking instructions not on the back of the label but within the label. It's a complete packaging fail as from my experience, you simply can't peel it back. Its not fit for purpose. I actually then recorded myself trying to open the label and shared the experience with Asda. I got a response saying sorry and that it did look fiddly and that they'd take it on board for the next review. I'm so very pleased that I could've helped them, it's just a shame that it cost me £10 for the privilige and that the pork tasted awful as a consequence of not knowing how to cook it to the manufacturer's guidelines. I can only assume that they get so many product complaints that they haven't got time to ensure that these issues are dealt with to the satisfaction of the customer. I'm actually more annoyed now after making the complaint than beforehand. Nice work Asda!”
“HORRIBLE service, over 70% of the orders are missing or out of stock despite the app saying it IS in stock , refunds take forever in most cases 2 weeks to come through, this happened more than 3 times eventually I got sick of it, don't bother shopping with them online, you'll be VERY disappointed eventually, like I did and I have ALOT of patience.”
“I will never ever shop at Asda again! Forcing employees into new contracts that dictates they should work any day of any week, at any hour! Just before Christmas! You're scum!”
