“I had just come out of hospital, I had no shopping, I had no one to take me shopping so I put a food order in online to be delivered to my home on the Sunday 26th January.
The money was taken on the day before so I was practically down to 0 in my bank account.
At 11.30 an Asda delivery driver arrived without any shopping he said he had called to say he didnt have my shopping I should call customer services. I was very upset, i have a heart complaint, they kept me on the phone for 2 hours saying if i wanted to shopping i would have to collect it myself as they were too busy to send anyone. I said i had no one to bring me. They said I could have it the next day but they would have to recharge me for it. I did not have the money, I had to cancel at that point. So Asda still have my money, I have nothing to eat. THEY HAVE FINISHED FOR LIFE WITH ME! THEY ARE A VILE AND DISGUSTING EXCUSE FOR A SHOP”
“Honestly i have had enough of asda letting me down. I have been let down 3 times with them with my food shopping delivery, getting my shopping confirmation text the day of delivery stating its been cancelled then getting given a silly 10 pound voucher. Its not good enough why do they do this! You have now lost me as a customer for good! I have just joined sainsbury's and i doubt they will be as unreliable as yourselves. Its pathetic what if i had no means of leaving the house and depended on that home delivery? I feel for any elderly people who have been let down by yourselves. At least now i dont have to be holding my breathe, fingers and toes crossed when i place an online food order!!you can keep your 10 pound voucher!”
“as a disabled person who depents on adsa delivery service for my heavy items.i have to say im digusting with it.the delivery was 10minutes late, then the delivery driver had the cheeky to moans because he had to go though 2 lots of gates.if i didn't need certain items delivered i would never used adsa delivery service ever againš ”
“Ordered groceries online from asda to be delivered when i finish work only to get a call mid afternoon to say there were no drivers i can collect or arrange delivery another day. I arranged to collect then discovered the shop sending my delivery was a 20 min drive from home not the one 5 mins away which also sends deliveries. Complained to customer service and was given a free delivery pass. Ordered a collection the following week arrived 5 mins late only to find the collection area open but no staff in sight, apparently they had left for the bus home. Took 35mins to get sorted. Tried again for delivery and get stupid substitutions, began food replaced for cheese versions and 4 soya milk replaced with 2 branded ones but still charged for the 4 originally ordered which is a higher value than the replacement. Can't request a refund as the day after my shopping was delivered the site still shows its out for delivery”
“I had a grocery delivery and the driver left a massive muddy foot print on my carpet and when I complained to the store they just fobbed me of say the drivers boots were clean
This was after a number of emails an phone calls being on hold and getting cut off
Terrible customer relations”
“for the second week running your lamb chops still within the use by date by 5 days, were rotten and stank, contacting your customer team abroad is a waste of time they have not got a clue, The council now have the meat and are going to investigate this further, obviously I have cancelled everything with asda as I will never shop with asda again, terrible supermarket”
“everā¦
Worst customer service I have ever experienced.
I purchased a delivery pass last year, everything was fine up until now...in the new year they have changed their delivery slot times meaning I can no longer get my groceries delivered when I am at home.
Phoned customer service (if you can call them that) to be told a pack of lies and they cannot do anything to help me. This means my delivery pass, which I paid for is not of any use.
Asked to speak to their manager, so they put me through to my local store manager (why I do not know as it is not a store decision) she then put the phone down on me after asking me to hold.
I am really disappointed, I work in customer service myself and if I acted I the way they have I would not have a job.”
“Absolutely disgusting delivery service. Driver was on time but completely useless. Couldnāt work out how to use the keypad to get in to my block of flats and then was incredibly rude to me on the phone when I tried to explain to him how to get in. He then told me I had to come downstairs and retrieve my items at which point I just hung up on him as he was being so rude.
He then called again, my boyfriend answered and was able to successfully explain how to use a keypad to get in. When he finally got to our door he said āyour girl gave the wrong addressā and then started wining about how he would be in trouble about late deliveries.
I have never received such disgusting delivery service from a company in my entire life. Luckily their customer support team was very helpful when I complained but I will never shop with them again and would encourage anyone to think twice before odering food from asda.”
“Right mate I got a chocolate gateau that serves 5 people I had it last night and it served only 3 people your company is appauling and I want you to give me a gateau That serves 5 people you trash company inabit bro”
“I have made a Christmas booking it was done 2 weeks before Christmas everything was paid for and confirmed it was to be delivered on the 31st of December I went away on holiday and on the 30th had a text to say I could update my my account with any other items that I wished at 8 a.m. the next day which was the 31st I had a message to say there has been an error and that no delivery would be made the delivery was supposed to be between 8 a.m. and 9 absolutely fuming as I have anxiety and can't go out to supermarkets,”
“Orderd cliclk collect got booking date time to collect whent to collect no item to colect apart from a leaflet thanking first time use of click collect .asda still took payment Ā£25 for it although didnt recive goods only a leaflet .
Taken a complaint to get money back and a poxy £ 5 apology after 16 miles travelng to colect and back home .
Discusting service .
Item is still on line to buy a week latter .”
“Asda delivery.
Invited by email to amend and add to order up until the day before delivery, so we added a couple of items.
What they donāt tell you is that if you do amend your order they will remove any items that arenāt in stock without telling you they did so., so we ended up numerous short.
They substituted āveganā Items for non-vegan items and the driver forgot to deliver two of the crates.
Substitutes were rejected and not refunded - that took a further three telephone calls to sort out.
I wonāt be using ASDA again....”
“Booked delivery of food, order was cancelled the day it was due 4 hours before our booked slot.
Reason for cancellation was a lack of funds, however we had the correct amount of funds in our account but because ASDA took £0.01p out of our account we were £0.01p short of the full amount.
So our order was cancelled because ASDA were too stupid to realise they had that last 0.01p for some other reason.
Left with no food for the baby and had to walk to the nearest shop (which is 3miles away)”
“Ordered clothes as said would be instore for collection after 1 the next day
Nothing, dont believe a word these muppets tell you. Ordered stuff from Amazon at same time, delivered to my house by 10.30 Asda needs some lessons of them”
“Another mess from asda delivery?
most of the home delivery order were subs and were sent back, had to go shopping to get rest of the correct items and others had short sell by dates.”
“Christmas Daschund tshirt, Online order.

“Delivery driver wanted ME to help him bring the shopping up to the first floor (I have no lift). He argued and stood there in front of me waiting for me to come.He continued insisting l lived on the 2nd floor (I actually live on the 1st floor and the sign says so
).He had an attitude problem and was angry. He then made 2 trips to bring up the shopping.
Never again Asda,I'm sure other people would do a better job than him.”
