I had an absolutely horrible experience with BudgetAir. I purchased a round-trip ticket, but instead of booking my full journey, they only booked my inbound flight and told me to “find my own way there” because they couldn’t secure the outbound ticket. If you can’t provide the full service that I paid for, the least you could do is cancel the whole booking and consult the customer first. But BudgetAir didn’t even ask for my consent — they just went ahead and did whatever they wanted. That’s completely unprofessional and unacceptable. When I reached out for help, I got no proper explanation, no accountability, and no effort to fix the issue. It’s as if once they take your money, they simply stop caring. BudgetAir has shown zero respect for customers and no sense of responsibility. I will never use them again and strongly advise everyone to avoid BudgetAir if you don’t want stress, frustration, and wasted money.

Booking with BudgetAir turned out to be a serious mistake. After being denied boarding at JFK, we were told by Virgin Atlantic staff that our return flights would remain valid. BudgetAir — the agency through which we purchased the tickets — never informed us that our return flight had been cancelled. The result was a family separation, including a minor child left behind, and enormous emotional and financial strain as we had to purchase last-minute replacement flights to reunite and return home. Both the airline and BudgetAir pointed fingers at each other instead of taking responsibility. BudgetAir’s failure to communicate and act in good faith caused real harm to our family. Travelers should be aware that in a crisis, BudgetAir provides no meaningful support or accountability.

I can't give them 0; that's why I gave 1 star. Terrible customer service. They don't have a phone number, so you have to stay on live chat and pray that someone from India will take your case. Terrible. I've been trying for three days already to get in touch with someone. Even someone picked up, and the chat got disconnected!!!!!

I would give them a zero star if I could. Terrible customer service. The lady sounded annoyed when I spoke to her. It took them 3 days to respond my inquiry. Poorly designed and unclear website. Awful! Awful!

my flight itinerary got changed from a 7 hour trip to 15 hours with no explanation, compensation, or appropriate customer service. upon trying to change/cancel my flight, i was directed to the AI chat bot which literally pointed me in circles. it suggested i call or email but calling was not open. emailing - despite contacting (what i assumed were) real people - resulted in circular "answers" AGAIN. i had to ask 4 times for an explicit, direct answer on how much it would cost to cancel my flight. i still never got the answer. beyond the terrible customer service, they never send you email notifications to check in.

Awful customer service if any travel disruption occur., No direct phone number, AI chat bot is useless and takes multiple days for any email responses that is generally a "sorry but not our problem, contact the airline"

Losing $145,000 to a scam shattered me. I felt helpless and completely broken. That’s when I found Mrs. Mercy. Her team’s professionalism stood out right away. They didn’t sugarcoat anything—they gave me a clear roadmap and followed through with constant updates. I didn’t expect much, but they came through and recovered a large amount of what I lost. One of the worst travel agent companies… I had one of the worst experiences ever with BudgetAir. After purchasing airline tickets, I waited several hours without receiving any confirmation or ticket issuance. Shockingly, there was no customer service number available, and I had to wait an unreasonable amount of time just to connect with a support agent via chat. Once I finally reached someone, I asked for the tickets to be issued immediately or to cancel the booking. The agent informed me that it would take up to 72 hours to issue the tickets—completely unacceptable and unlike any other travel service I’ve used, where tickets are typically issued within minutes. To make matters worse, they demanded $110 per person as an administrative fee to cancel the booking. This is outrageous and feels like a deliberate attempt to trap customers. Overall, this company operates with poor service, lack of transparency, and questionable practices. If I could give a rating lower than 1 star, I absolutely would. Stay away from BudgetAir.

I rarely share my experience, but this is my worst experience ever with flight booking, and i cannot help, I hope other people can avoid the same mistake. I recently booked a flight with BudgetAir by mistake and faced an incredibly frustrating experience. Despite providing evidence that the airline does not charge the exorbitant fee they claimed, I was still charged nearly $1000. Customer service was unhelpful and unresponsive throughout the process. I strongly advise others to consider alternative options. This experience has been a nightmare, and I hope this review helps others avoid the same situation.

Scammers. My flight got cancelled due to a strike, and the airline said they would refund me the money. But Budget air is refusing to do so, they said that the flight happened normally.

There should be a zero star rating available especially for this outfit. It hurts having to give them one, utterly undeserved, star. They changed the information in the passenger name field, substituting a computer-generated completely different name for my own name which I had properly entered to match my passport. They then told me that the airline would not change the passenger name and that I would have to cancel and re-book. I then successfully got the airline to correct the passenger name, which cost me £40. BudgetAir refuses to refund me the £40 outlay which I incurred because of their own misconduct, and are in stubborn, customer-hostile and preposterous denial that there is anything wrong with their system.

We booked with them and had to cancel for medical reasons and we gave them notice, pretty much impossible to get any response out of customer service. Please do not book unless you are very desperate

Do not book with them. RIP offs. We had to change my son's flight due to a severe weather event in Brisbane, airports closed. Couldn't get a hold of them, no phone numbers so changed flight to an earlier one online, paid the $409 to change the flight and they will not reimburse those fees even though Qantas confirmed all change of flights due to this natural event were free of charge. Absolutely disgusted. Boom through a legit company
