“The cappuccino at Costa is awful!
It tastes the same as Gregg's and McDonald 's. There's a right twang to it. Won't be having coffee at any of them again!”
“As always quality of Costa Coffee is brilliant that’s why I always look for Costa coffee shop in the UK and overseas but quality of service and attitude of barista today Thursday the 6th of April in Clacton-On-Sea is below par. I suggest staff requires retraining on acceptable level of customer service at least. The shop is not that busy; why such ATTITUDE which puts off customer to drink coffee?”
“Why have Costa started letting in all dogs apart from guide dogs, who generally lay on the floor. Others are carried in and sat up at the table and even allowed on the chairs ?
Apart from the hygiene factor are we not able to go and have lunch or coffee without being forced to share with wet dogs on occasions!!”

“Such a shame. First time visit to this costa down lotbridge drove. 25 minutes we waited to be served and then to receive a half cooked toasty. Only 2 young girls running the shop and drive threw. Managment needs sorting.”

We called at one of you're express outlets in Ledbury Store 432 Service Station on 28 November 2022.
I purchased 2 x Large Coffees , the Coffee was warm and not a full cup , normally I don't have any problems in the Coffee from your machines.i was going to go back in to the store and get new ones but I think they would be just the same .

What is happening at this store lately?
Sunday morning 845am 3 customers and yet till shut before change given, coffee waiting on the counter whilst waiting for food, no tray, no knife, no serviette. Luckily I asked for my coffee to be extra hot but found out when I tried it it wasn’t. Absolute shambles.”
“Just bought a coffee frappe from your outlet in Hankridge, Taunton. Service was okay, but where’s the coffee in the frappe? Beige sweet flavourless icy slime. I was so disappointed that I actually took it back and asked for another. Not sure what they did this time (actually add shots of coffee??) but it tasted mildly of coffee and no longer sweet, so slightly improved, but £4.55 for this?? Seriously?? Lost my custom. Does this company think we are fools???”
“Been to local Costa on Middlewood Road Sheffield and sat in between two tables of cusyomers. Staff have swept the floor after they left but not cleaned either table. One table has had two lots of people sat there and crumbs from first customers still on it. During Covid last year they were cleaning tables between customers and placing timers on the tables, you couldn't sit there until it went off. Now they have stopped. Best time to go for a coffee is when they open at 7am as hopefully been cleaned overnight or any covid germs have become inactive. Thinking twice now about visiting again.”
“I visited Eton branch today. Not impressed. Most if the tables and chairs hadn't been put out in the outside area out the back, which is where many of us prefer to sit at the moment, the person preparing the coffees had his mask UNDER his chin and the other person serving, on some occasions, removed her mask to speak to customers. Also, the hand drier in the toilet wasn't working.”
“Visited Drive through Costa in Lincoln (Outer Circle Road) Staff were laughing behind counter whilst the majority of tables were empty but had trays of used cups on them and had not been wiped down. Sanitiser bottle was empty. Is not a good example for Costa.”
“I regularly have coffee at various branches of Costa and generally find them pretty good. However their Largs branch is the exception to the rule. They generally get the order correct on the majority of occasions but this morning's visit was the worst ever. Two toastie's handed to me within a few minutes of my order being placed and then had to wait 15 minutes, with the person in the queue behind me being provided with his coffee before me, only to receive coffee's that weren't what I ordered. Complained to the staff only to be told I hadn't been charged for what I'd actually ordered. In the meantime my wife had finished her toastie, mine was now cold and my extra hot coffee's were lukewarm. Worth giving the Largs branch a miss. Outside we noticed the Costa motto "we don't rush out coffee", certainly agree with that lol.”
“Visited the Harlow town centre and the staff polite but tables uncleared and none wiped and sanitised
In these times on Covid and the rise in infections I would like to think you would take this more seriously for the heath and safety of your customers and staff.
Will not be back on a hurry as I have not had Covid and don't fancy catching it because of unsanitary / Uncleared tables.”
