I have been a customer for years and recently went in to do two things, re-string my tennis racket and buy soccer clothing and balls for my grandkids. I bring my own tennis strings and when they wrote up the re-stringing I was charged $27 plus tax. This was an increase of $11 from the last time. When I was told this was not a mistake, and that the price had gone up, I walked out of the store, never to return.

My husband bought our son a Marucci USA bat for his current league season. He used the bat one game, unfortunately the bat cracked. My husband went to Dicks (with his original receipt) to exchange the bat…however he was met with a manager who was rude/discourteous and had no intention of helping him because my husband didn’t purchase “your warranty”. So my question is do you not back your product? Offer assistance to customers? Require a positive/helpful attitude from your “managers”? Had we bought your warranty could we have exchanged the bat? Your process makes zero sense, you offer a product, the product is defective, the customer returns it, you send it back to the manufacturer and get credit…your warranty is a way for your company to make more money when the outcome of the returned product is the same…you get your money back. My husband was told to “take it up” with Marucci….unfortunately by the time we go through their claims process my son’s league ball season will be over. I am beyond frustrated and completely surprised that your company offered zero assistance. We have been Dick’s shoppers for years, that ended today.

Dishonest Company-Beware Will Not Refund Shipping Costs If You Return. I purchased an arm sleeve online, shipping costs were $8.99. The item didn’t fit. I returned the item and Dick’s didn’t refund my shipping costs.

I ordered a set of TayorMade irons and it will be 10 weeks befor they will start shipping them to. It was ordered on Mar 20th 2022 i wont even received them till after June 23rd. They should advertise that it will take a lot longer I would have gone elsewhere who indicate two weeks shipping!! We ordered a pair of slides for 100.00 they sent the right slides wrong color. We went in to exchange them didnt have the itwm in store so we got a refund. Found a pair of shoes for 150.00 didnt have the size we needed so we ordered online. We recieved the shoes couple days later and they are used...no way am i paying 150.00 for used shoes

We ordered some shoes on November 29,2021 they arrived 12/01/2021via fedex we opened the package no shoe wrapping no invoice no receipt, shoes had mud and dirt on the shoe soles ,lint and stuff inside the shoes and not once the shoe was advertised as an used pair of shoes. called customer service and the answer was to return them and reorder WHATTT!!!! shoes are sold out really!!!!! so no other solution!??????? So ..... here we are returning a pair of shoes that my husband really wanted but because your poor customer service now he has to stay without your shoes. AND WHAT WE RECEIVED A PAIR OF WORN USED $146.00 SHOES SHAME !!!!! should have gone shopping to the thrift store.Good bye! never again buying from yall!!!!

I orderd on line a under armour top and thought I had included my Dicks gift card which when it showed the final cost my credit card on file was charged not the gift card which I am sure was my fault.So I called within 10 minutes from original order and was told the order could not be cancelled and they could not credit my credit and recharge my dicks gift card. They said when I received the order then I should call customer service they could take care of it at that time which I did and customer said they could not credit my credit card and rebill my gift card. They said I would have to return for credit and than re order using my gift card. Sounds like store service and not customer service. Good bye Dicks.

Bike assembly dangerously set where brake became loose after a he 4th time my son rode it around the block. Customer service didn’t even apologize, they gave me attitude like a favor to answer the phone to me. Ehorroble place to shop for a bike.

I had a Dicks credit card with an $800 limit, i used it and paid the balance all the way down to $0 in less than 2 months. Only to get a notice from them a month later that my spending limit was being decreased to $300, then to top it off 2 more months later my account was closed by them with no notification until after the fact. THIS COMPANY IS TERRIBLE!!!! STAY FAR AWAY FROM THEM.. I WOULD NOT BE SURPRISED IF THEY WERE OUT OF BUSINESS SOON!!!!

I went to Dick’s Sporting Goods in the woodlands, TX . I wanted to buy my son shoes for his birthday , all the workers were walking around not helping anyone. I watched and observed them , they would go out of their way to avoid people and being asked for help. They never offered to help , every single one of them were rude and had this awful demeanor, I asked a couple of them for shoe sizes they would literally bring the shoe box out to me and walk away , SEVERAL of them did that , I was shocked . Finally I decide to get my son the pair he wants , I actually wanted to buy him a couple of pairs but I was so dissatisfied with the service I only got him one pair because I had already promised him but decided I would buy the rest of his presents somewhere else. Then I get to the register , the girl is literally turning her back at us texting. Then she turned around , asked if I had a number (with a horrendous attitude) when I said no she rolled her eyes scanned the box and told me the amount. She was so rude and condescending, her name was Michelle by the way . I asked her if there was a manager I could speak to and she said “why?” I just looked at her and she said “yeah they are somewhere but I don’t have a radio to page them” I just paid and left. I really shouldn’t have bought anything as the shoes were NOT cheap but I only did it because I was tired had just gotten off work and promised my son. This isn’t the first time the customer service at this particular store and location has been extremely disappointing,I will NEVER spend another dime at Dicks sporting goods.

The customer service at the Rim location in San Antonio sucks. Both managers that I spoke with were unable to do anything besides repeat what the store workers said. Their reward system is even worse. After purchasing a pair of shoes with reward points that didn't work out I tried to exchange them using those same points. I was told I couldn't exchange them and would have to wait until the points were put back on my account. I was given a receipt that said the points would be back available to be used in a couple of days so I asked to put the shoes I wanted on hold and returned a few days later to make the purchase. When I went the second time to purchase the shoes with the renewed rewards I was told that it would take another few weeks before the points were put on my account so that I could use them. The manager said she would put the shoes on hold until that time. At the time I was told I called the manager to make sure the points were on my account and said I'd be there right away to pick up the shoes. I had even accumulated more points and was excited to use them. I showed up a third time within the hour and had to wait for someone to search and tell me the shoes had been put up. They finally dug them out and when I proceeded to check out I was told that if I used my reward points for the purchase then I would lose large number of remaining reward points I had accumulated. A great way to "reward" good customers. I will never shop at a Dick's sporting goods again. Fortunately I found the Hoka shoes I wanted to purchase online directly from Hoka for less than they were asking at Dick's. I will never shop there again!

Bought a Sunny Fitness treadmill and the belt and motor stopped working after only 4 months but of course after paying $575 neither company offers a refund or replacement! Dicks sold me dangerous equipment and they could care less. Treadmill would just jerk to a stop with no warning!

Dicks in Riverhead NY, had a terrible experiance. No one helped me, Picked up bike, seat was not secure, tires were under inflated. I went to check out Dean was at check-out. Rude, could not care less. Was a robot! Gross. I will never go into a Dicks again. (Thanks Dean)

0 Customer Service…… Management wants to be helpful but most staff aren’t there to do their job. Can never get anyone to grab a shoe let alone look for a size. Sawmill Rd Store.

Very bad customer service (Serramonte Store). Assistant manager was very rude and never bothered to help. Will never spend a dime there ever again.

I experienced the worst service I've ever had in recent memory at the Dick's Sporting Goods store in Cedar Park. I was gifted a pair of vert nice OluKai Men's Hokua Sandals and went in to pick them up. As I came to the counter and the person finally found my order... they looked too small. I asked to try them on and they were indeed WAY TOO small. I asked if I could exchange them for a larger pair of the exact same shoes. I was told yes and to just go into the store and find the larger pair. When I came back the same person at the counter asked me for my credit card. I told him this was just an exchange from a gift to me. He said that he canceled the order and that I now needed to pay for the item. REALLY? A supervisor came over and immediately told me it was my fault because I didn't tell them the whole story. I was never given the chance to tell my story... I was told to go and exchange them! Well, I ended up having to call the person who bought me the shoes, but the supervisor said that because the credit card he used was an online order that he would have to come into the store (PHYSICALLY) to bring in his credit card. WHAT????? They were treating me as if I were some kind of thief. I ended up just buying the shoes myself. Thanks to Dick's- I had to pay for my own gift for my birthday. I will never give Dick's my business again. It seems that since the pandemic they are only good with online orders and have absolutely no customer service skills. What ever happened to the customer always being right? Their policies have turned the customer into feeling like a criminal. There are plenty of other places to go to for Sporting Goods... I suggest you try somewhere else and never set foot in their establishment.

Tried calling customer service about a return and was told I can not return the bat I just purchased for my daughter. I called the 866 number and spoke with a jessica and she said that they can not take the bat back even though it has only been in my possession for 4 hours. All she said was I am sorry its company policy and then hung up on me. I am out $500 and a bat that my daughter can not use. Horrible customer service. I definitely will not be going back to the Scherreville Indiana location or ordering anything from them.
