“I ordered shoes in November and I still have not received them. Ecco has done nothing to assist me with finding my shoes or offered up any solution. I’ve been a customer for years and have referred several people. I’ve always purchased shoes in the store, this was my first online purchase with them and will be my last purchase ever. Terrible customer service.”
“I ordered multiple pairs of shoes in November for Christmas gifts. The website gave the opportunity to select the US size so we selected a size 6. When the shoes arrived, they were a 37 (which is not comparable to a US 6) instead of a 36. I've dealt with European shoe sizes on a consistent basis so this was a shock. When I tried to contact Ecco, they have no customer service phone number available, their chat feature consistently says that there are no agents available, and so the only available option is through email (which takes days to receive a response). They do not accept exchanges and require you to pay for shipping for returns (which cost me $75 - they do not provide a return label and deduct it from your refund as many companies do). I returned the shoes with a tracking number (per their return form) and it says the package was delivered on December 16th to the warehouse. I contacted them at the end of December because I had not received my refund or even confirmation that they had received my return. In response, I was told to wait until after January 8th (nearly a month after they have received the item). It is now January 11th, I have not received my refund, confirmation of my return, their chat feature still says that there are no agents available, and the only way I have to contact them is through email.
I WILL NOT buy anything from Ecco again. This is absolutely abysmal service.”

We came to exchange purchased sneakers, which I bought the day before, for some others that I had tried on but didn't buy, and I decided that I would like them to be more expensive but stronger and better for my feet.
We didn't succeed, the saleswoman thought that I had to try on the sneakers again so that I wouldn't have to come and change them every day, brazenly and rudely, we didn't explain ourselves, we took the money and left.”
“I used to love ecco shoes. Now, not only is the quality cheap, but their c/s is awful. i returned a pair of shoes using the label they sent me. They never received them, ok, that happens, but not only would they not refund my cc, but they would not even give me store credit. Or even a discount on a future purchase. So I'm out a pair of shoes and the money I paid for them. I don't blame the rep actually, I blame company policy. I will not buy from Ecco again.”
“I have owned 2 pairs of Ecco shoes and the soles of both disintegrated at incredible speed. I wore the 2nd pair for the first time yesterday and have left a trail of chunks of the soles behind me after waking just about 50 yards. Ecco refused to replace them because the warranty ran out. They must have has countless reclamations like mine.”

“ECCO did not honor their link discount sent by text on or around Black Friday. I forwarded the original. The reply from customer service was, "no, that model is not included" (men's soft 7). The $ thing, plus, they generally run a full size large over what they say is the US equivalent, is a deal breaker. I will look elsewhere. There's plenty of other shoe manufactures.”

When I sent them back under warranty, they disappeared; no response to this day from the company. assure me that my order has been cancelled that i will be receiving confirmation via email. again no news! never got the email, till yesterday Sunday after 2 days later, an email apologizing that they couldnt cancel the order .

“If I could give this review a zero, I would. I bought women’s trail running shoes wore them twice on grass. They came unglued at the Toes. Then when I took him to the store, the manager was a pain in the butt tried to force me to use their online warranty department to only get a credit back for the shoes that cost $150, she tried to bully me but I fought back and got my credit for the shoes. Garbage never buy another pair of the shoes ever”

“I am extremely unhappy with the Ecco shoes company. I purchased a pair of Men's dress shoes and stored them in the original box in ideal conditions for years. I expect a new shoe to be perfect performing for walking and to last and last. I took the new pair out recently for the first time and just worn them about 1000 feet at a after funeral setting and the bottom rubber heal of the shoes started disengrading in to black gooey pieces. These pieces fell everywhere and continued to do so. My balance standing was all of a sudden in chaos. This was extremely embarrassing and it was very dangerous. Ecco has had many complaints from customers for years on this issue. All they did was issue me a $100 voucher to their very expensive website. Most of their dress shoes are well over $160 and most are $200 and more. I can find some of these shoes cheaper at other stores and websites so this voucher is practically useless. If you don't spend a certain amount then you need to pay for shipping as well. How can I trust buying another Ecco shoe after this? I will never buy another pair of Ecco shoes again as they really need to do much more to satisfy their customers!!!”
“I bought the new ecco biom gortex golf shoes from a trusted ecco 3rd party seller and they leaked on the first day. I have bought ecco for over 7 years for golf but they chose to disregard my complaint so i shall not be supporting them again. Ecco state this shoe has a 2 year warranty but do not stand by this.”
