“Emailed customer service about a quality issue on a pair of recently purchased golf shoes. Was told to cover the issue with a cream available through Amazon and a protectant. Let's not deal with the problem, let us help cover it up. I have purchased Ecco for a few years and the quality is slowly deteriorating. Customer service will not honor warranty. Buyer beware”

“I buy Ecco footwear across the world from the UK to Australia. I have many pairs of Ecco shoes and never fail to be impressed by Ecco products and customer service. I would particularly like to highlight your Oxford, UK store where I was the recipient of Anna’s most impressive level of professionalism and care. She went above and beyond in every way to ensure my satisfaction and displayed the sort of courteous, attentive service that I miss from the past and is hard to find these days. Anna made my purchase of beautiful black nubuck Grainer Chelsea boots a memorable overseas experience. To Anna, my compliments and I wish you well.”

“I was given a brand new pair of ECCO shoes. They had been in storage but never worn. I walked no more than 25 metres in them and the soles completely disintegrated. I find it unbelievable.”

“Website is a complete joke. Cant do anything without accepting cookies. Way to many quality companies out there that actually make it easy to view the website. I will not be spending my money with this company. You do not have to have cookies to run your stupid website. Look at your competition if you dont believe me.”

“The worst costumer service. Think well before giving them your hard earning money, bought some shoes end of December, I haven’t got the shoes or my money. Very disappointed”

“Winchester ECCO staff are great - their customer service is top notch - friendly, helpful and nothing too much trouble. They didn’t have the shoes I wanted and therefore after checking the stock they rang a store in London where my sister works nearby and saved them for me for her to collect. Thank you as need them for work”

“The soles fell apart in a year and when I approached customer service they refused to look at them without proof of purchase. Who keeps receipts for shoes bought a year ago?! I showed them pictures how the show was barely scratched as I had a worn them once!”

“Ecco shoes are garbage!! I bought four pair about 6 years ago. I didn't wear them often. I kept them in the original boxes on my closet shelf. The shoes a NO GOOD ANYMORE. The soles became gummy and fall apart when I wear them. I had to throw four pairs of shoes out and they were like new. I was so embarrassing to go out with the shoes on only to have the soles stick to everything and fall apart at important events. Ecco only has a one year warranty. DO NOT BUY ECCO SHOES UNLESS YOU PLAN ON WEARING THEM ALL THE TIME, AND WEARING THEM OUT IN A YEAR OR TWO. THE SOLES BECOME GUMMY AND DISINTEGRATE IN A COUPLE OF YEARS. I HAVE NEVER HAD THIS HAPPEN WITH ANY OTHER SHOE.”

“Paid over $600.00 for two pair of their Gortex hiking boots and the soles completely disintegrated leaving me with only the worthless leather uppers, making me so happy. YOU BETCHA!!!!”

“I bought two pairs of shoes from ECCO online, one is not comfortable at all and the other one is yellow but not as beautiful as it is shown in the advertisement, it is more grayish than yellowish. I am sorry that I experience bad quality recently:(”

“Still crumbling shoesoles and abysmal follow-up I had a pair of Ecco shoes some years ago where the soles crumbled the third time wearing them. Bad experience at the time but at least the store was helpful. Fast forward to recently, where I took a chance with Ecco shoes as they claimed that the problem with crumbling soles that they blamed on rare "hydrolysis" was solved. Mistake. The soles started disintegrating after about 15 days of use over multiple months. Shoes were stored in a dry and well ventilated place, so this is not about some freak hydrolysis. This is defective material and design. This time around, the online service was slow and the response was a runaround about helping the "customer" contact the store. No ownership of the problem by the manufacturer, no goodwill, no responsiveness. Lesson learned: Ecco is an untrustworthy company that keeps cheating on quality and service.”

“I can't believe that more people are not reviewing the deterioration of the heel. Little wear on these shoes but both heels turned gummy, almost overnight. Shoe repair shops will not work on them and have to send them off for repair at almost new expense. Bad product.”

“Very but customer service , I was a long time customer of Ecco shoes, I bought every 3 years a 200 hundred dollars boots 🥾 besides all my shoes was Ecco, but the last boots it was very uncomfortable I send it to them and ask for a credit to buy another Ecco boots and they said that the boot was okay it no was okay because im the one wearing the boots and it something wrong with the boots, but they don’t care to lose a customer”

Placed my order confirmed SO-005135539 recieved email 3 days later telling me that good were not in stock, why take internet order if good not available? Also undersatnd that this company have not black listed Russia so actually please shoes did not arrive”

“ECCO's used to be my "go to" shoes before they became popular. The last two pairs haven't had the same comfort and feel. I was willing to accept that I may have chosen poorly for my fit. Yesterday, I took out a pair I don't wear often to attend a formal event. The edge around the upper leather had come completely undone. The fact that it was on both shoes tells me it's a quality issue.”
