About FibreGlassDirect:

FibreGlassDirect is an online shop which supplies quality, fibreglass raw materials to the UK and Ireland. We are based in Leeds, West Yorkshire and our Head Office is in Newry, Northern Ireland.
We have been online since 2009 but have over 60 years of experience as part of the Tricel Group.
We offer an extensive range of resins, topcoats, gelcoats and ancillaries for a wide range of industries. Some of our key supplies are used for Fibreglass Flat Roofing, Fibreglass Ponds, Boat Repairs and Castings for Decorative Items.

I've been dealing with Fibreglass Direct for several years now, we are a building company based in NW England. Sadly my last order has so far gone missing. Fibreglass Direct simply don't answer the phone. I've got through twice in approximately 15 calls. I've left messages on voicemail and to employees in person, I've been promised calls back. Nothing. This may well be the courier's failure, but the responsibility to sort this out is with the seller, and the customer service is beyond bad. They have lost my future custom now. I still don't have the goods that I have paid for.

No customer service rang three times left messages as no on answers the phone no body phoned me back very poor service

It has been a week since I ordered my product, and it is still in the processing phase so not even shipped yet. Despite this I am asked to review a service that I have not yet received. Perhaps this company should spend more energy in dispatching products rather than seeking to secure marketing gold.

Useless sevice. I purchased a garden pond kit which had certain items missing. I sent a list of those items and asked a few questions about the mixing of the resin etc. My questions were not answered but then I received an email asking which items were mising, obviously not read my detailed original email. Customer service appears to be very lacking.

I still have not received my order after 9 days of despatch confirmation. Tried to contact the company, no one answered the phone, left a message, called back and said he would sort out my order. Another day, nothing happened so called again and left a message but this time no one bothered to call me back. So where is my order?

Terrible service Items have still not arrived. Tried calling company with no answer. Message said closed due to public holiday. Courier company are un-contactable. I used online tracking to re-arrange delivery and it didnt turn up. Still waiting. Have had to order from elsewhere and request refund. Not good.

Pathetic-you sent 2 packages not 3,we are missing the fibre glass matt 10 metres.Neither of your phone numbers work and you did not respond to my email,so, Karen,its a dismal FAIL.. Please send the matting,the delivery man changed the receipt as he only had 2 packages,I hoped you'd be sending it on ,but here I am,roof leaking,over £200 down.

Very disappointed, won’t order from here again, Original order took over a week to arrive and when it did items missing and damaged. Still waiting for missing and damaged items to arrive. Tried to save a tenner and cost me a ton

It's been a week since making the order. I've received nothing. It was supposed to be here in 2 to 3 days. I tried contacting Customer Services several time and just a voice mail. Tried emailing them - nothing. Contacted the courier XPD and they just refer me back to FibreGlassDirect. No product and abysmal customer services.

Phone lines never answered, still waiting on part of an order that was made almost 2 weeks ago. Tried to trace using the chat on website had 1 reply saying you’d try and trace my order nothing since.

Very deceived on the website. I order 2kg in belief I was getting 2kg of resin and 2kg hardner 4kg in total. It came to over 80£, postage was 13.50 when converted to euro cost me over 100€.RPM does a 2KG kit. 2kg of hardner 2kg of resin for 100€ 9€ postage. I won't order again beacuse I got out of pocket from this shop over 40£ due to bad website contacted customer care and waist of time!

Hi Chloe, I have spoken to the management team in relation to this review. I believe that you were in contact with them yesterday by phone. The kit you purchased was a 2kg kit which as is explained on the website 1kg of Part A and 1kg of Part B. Our website is completely transparent in this respect and the prices are as stated. I ordered a number of items to be picked up at your Leeds depot. On arriving home I realised that a container of mixing sticks was missing. I contacted you by hone the same day and informed them, I was told they would be sent to my address. I still have not received them.

I needed resin urgently and ordered it from a relatively close source. Delivery was very quick. Not happy with the product. I used it to coat 3 painted canvases. 24 x 36" and two 24 x 12", followed manufacturers direction to the letter in regard to measuring, mixing, application and heat removal of bubbles - every 10 to 15mins for an hour after pouring, covered my canvases and left overnight. Removed cover the next morning to 3 canvases covered in bubbles. Cut out the bubbles, sanded to surfaces, cleaned them, mixed and poured another layer of resin on the large canvas and one of the small ones, popped air bubbles at intervals of 10mins for 45mins, covered and left overnight. The 3rd canvas I coated with a different resin, popped the air bubbles, covered and left overnight. Uncovered all 3 canvases next morning..... large and one small canvas covered in FiberGlassDirect resin have air bubbles. Third canvas using different resin was perfect. This resin, in my opinion was expensive and I am very unhappy with it. I will not be using it again.
