“Bought HT04 used 3 times in 3 years needed new battery told obsolete . What a waste,machine is like new but cannot use .Have bought a Ryobi which uses the same battery for all its tools and has done since 1996.”
“Have purchased 2 HT01 hedge trimmers and 1 HT04 hedge trimmer and all the batteries have faded to the point of being unusable.
Contacted GTECH to be told none of the batteries are available, leaving me with 5 HT01 batteries, 2 HT04 batteries and 3 unusable hedge trimmers.
Be careful not to purchase any rechargeable hedge trimmers if you expect a reasonable life usage.”
“Compared to previous hoover brand cordless the air ram mk 2 is amazing, picks up dirt on a par with my corded Dyson. Yes the dust container is small and needs regular emptying but it is so easy to take out and empty, not an issue for me at all. So far really impressed and would recommend.”

Had I have been writing this review 2 years ago I would, like others, have been saying how good my new vacuum is (gtech air ram). 2 years later this isn't the case. It's had 2 major faults, the latest of which means it won't turn on. I am now 2 months out of warranty. Their customer service helpline is terrible, no advice as to check anything, just straight to selling me spare parts which may or may not solve the problem!! Meanwhile I spent £300 on a top of the range vacuum cleaner 2 years ago that I cannot afford to take a risk on purchasing parts that may not solve the issue. Looking through forums this seems to be very common. AVOID!!!!”
“My gtec hylite stopped picking up, I emailed customer services who promptly replied and sorted out my problem by sending replacement battery which arrived in two days. Very impressed with service , many thanks 👍”
“No problems with gtech service, delivery was excellent. Product is light and works well, Except the edge to edge ability is very poor. In fact it doesn't pick dirt at all. My old Henry was much better.!!”
“Such a bad design of Gtech hylite compared to my old one. You cannot tell if the bag is full, you wait until the gtech is not picking up, open it up, see the bag is full and then usually have to clean the little tunnel with a knife. The bag is so small, a simple design please next time. I have loved gtech for many years but not this latest version.”
“After being pleased with the hoover for 3 years, something caught in the brush and it broke.
Customer services are not interested as it is not the Company's policy to be concerned with a faulty machine after 3 years.
I maintain it is an expensive item of equipment to suddenly break if a piece of string gets caught up in it.
The machine should have immediately shut down and restarted after the string was removed.
I am extremely disappointed with the poor after sales service and lack of concern shown y GTech.”
“I had a big problem with my G tech and phoned the customer service on Friday and the lovely girl 👧 was so helpful and ensured I had a replacement part which came next day. We still could not get it to work again so I phoned again and another lovely girl once again was so helpful and agreed to send me another part so hopefully it will come tomorrow and my husband can put it together for me.
I have been so pleased with it due to only being able to use one hand.”
“Two strimmers both hardly used have overheated and are now completely dead. Neither has used all the plastic blades that came with them. Both are out of warranty, they wish to charge over £30 for replacement parts. Do not recommend!”
“A hedge cutter bought a few years ago and used 7 times has completely failed. 1st fault the blade stopped cutting, purchased a new one, fitted it, 1st use of this the drive shaft to the rubbish gearing sheared rendering the whole thing useless. Before I'm told I cut too big a hedge. I DID NOT.
I am an engineer (ret) and know what I'm doing. At best a 3mil. drive shaft is inadequate. Never again G.Tech.

“Model SW02 cordless sweeper with wand....this product is a joke and total rubbish made in China. Handle will not stay on and it is advised that you should avoid this product at all costs. Yes, it is true I was told I could return but this would cost me 20 per cent of the cost of the thing so best to just donate to some charity who could perhaps "do something better with handle" in order for it to remain in place than the designers of this thing have. Should never have been produced as non-usable in original design/condition.”
“What hasnt gone wrong? bought the model ATF038 from argos,after nearly 12 months of poor performance,battery died gtech replaced this one and few weeks later this died, i have had several conservations with admin,and several parts replaced including brush bar,separator filter ---- then they sent a new complete new hoover,this also had the same faults the machine is now smelling of burning and some of the plastic has melted.last phone call 17/08/2020,i am awaiting call back of the company deciding what they are going to do.no call i will be writing to the ombudsman as this item is not fit for the purpose”

“Bought Gtech Pro a few weeks ago today it fell to the floor which caused the top to come unclipped when to tried to put it back we notice the the small hold the screw go’s into is made of plastic and three out of four had broken off poorly made it cost me £48 for the part not covered under guarantee really disappointed with the service why give a guarantee won’t buy Gtech again shoddy made But you live and learn”
