Well, after I posted my phone to them I stumbled on this review site and instantly thought I’ve just been scammed, I sent my phone on a Thursday and still heard nothing Monday night. Tuesday morning I had a text saying they still haven’t received my phone, I was just about to write a email to them as the Royal Mail tracking said it had been delivered that morning when I received a email from them saying the order had arrived and they were sending it to their recycle team for inspection, I must admit I instantly thought by reading the comments here that they would get back to me and say there’s scratches or chips or some reason why they won’t give me the full amount so I read through the T&Cs to see that I would have to pay £30 to get the phone back which I would of done because it was a pristine condition 1 month old iPhone 11 Pro 256g. Wednesday night I had a email from them saying great news they’ve just made a payment which will take 24 hours to clear, Thursday the money (full amount) was in my account by midday. Although I sent something to music magpie and got paid a day before and found them to have better communication. Don’t know if I’m just a lucky one but it all went ok, I just wanted to leave this here to show that I found them problem free, will I use them again??? Nope, due to the amount of bad reviews here I dont have the confidence to trust them even though my transaction was fine!

I was originally quoted £234 for my iPhone 8, upon sending it off and following their analysation, they revised their offer to a decreased amount of £150, I politely declined the offer and requested the phone back. The following day they offered £200, I accepted and received payment within less than 24 hours. Hopefully I won’t be their only good review in the near future.

Originally I was quoted £234 for my iPhone 8, upon sending the device and after their inspection, they retracted their first offer to £150. I requested they send the device back to me as I wasn’t satisfied with the revised price. They got back to me the following day offering an increased amount of £200, I accepted and received the payment within less than 24hrs. Relatively nice experience, here’s hoping I won’t be their only good review in the near future.

I cant lie I had already sent my phone off before reading all of the reviews of this company. I sent my phone of last week in perfect condition no issue with the phone at all! it was the iPhone xs max the company had quoted me £415.38 pounds . I received a email Monday just gone stating my phone had been received I then contacted then today as I was scared of what I had read. I simply said what's the status on my phone etc they got back to me ASAP they then offered me £400 and knocked off £15.38 as they stated they found scratches on the phone I don't see how as I had a double screen protector on the front and back and the phone had ben in a sturdy 360 hybrid case less then 6 months , however I just accepted the offer as everywhere else were offering £350 or lower , over all I had a good experience with them luckily

Beware if selling an iphone to handtec Beware if selling an iphone to handtec I sent my used iphone8 to the company after they offered me a price for it online. When they received and examined it, they lowered the price as they said the screen was covered in deep scratches. Luckily I had taken shots of my screen with my new high quality iphone11 camera and questioned whether they had sent me the correct picture. They then sent two more photos which were definitely not of my phone. I requested the phone back because they had not actually used photos of my phone and instead they increased their offer on the phone. It was still not as much as their original offer but that was because the battery power was low, which I accept. Seller beware when selling and take photos of your phone before sending off

Sent them my perfectly working iphone 6 with big memory slot, the quote was £120. There was not a scratch on it. Few days later I received an email from them saying "unfortunately the sound dynamic is faulty and screen has a deep scratch". I told them I personally checked it before sending and asked to provide a proof. They send me a photo of a screen with a scratch!!!!!!! F*CKING BASTARDS!!! Told them to immediately sent it back to me, their first offer was £86, the second was £94. After I told them I need my phone back asap, I got email saying it was sent back to me and I'll receive it in 2-3 days. After 4 days of waiting nothing came !!! I emailed them again. Turned out they didn't send it back, probably to see if I forgot about the phone. SCAMMERS! AVOID AT ALL COST !!! Ps. If I get it back extremely damaged I'm going to police idc

Delivery of refurbished/good condition phone went smoothly.the phone I received was faulty and looked in pretty bad shape, sent it back same day and it had taken them after making a few calls to refund the full amount back to me. I could speak to someone easily and got my refund but I was a bit worried after reading the reviews. Got a phone from Music Magpie for less money and better spec and it was in great condition.

Had exactly sane problems as everyone else. Quoted £130 trade in but then they offered me £25. I told them to send it back, came back with a knackered screen. When I contacted them they said it was like that when it came in, I had no evidence to the contrary. Legal Scammers!

*IMPORTANT* I purchased a iPhone 8 Plus 16/02/24 which was faulty, would not turn on even after a 24h charge. sent back to exchange for 2nd iPhone.within 24h it started to freeze.i reset the phone but continued to freeze every day. Apple customer support confirmed software fault. i Reported fault 01/03/24 and was to return for refund. My very sick wife who is END OF LIFE was taken ill and in critical condition. I could not get home to post iPhone back until i returned home for a days rest on the 02/04/24.i kept seller fully updated with my situation, THEY SAID "POST WHEN YOU CAN". the iphone was delivered to them on 04/04/24, tracking number QZ712669220GB.THEY NOW REFUSE TO REFUND US AND HAVE THE IPHONE I RETURNED. complete dishonesty, theft and fraudulent behaviour.

I sent a perfect condition phone for which they quoted £155,they have invented non existed faults (deep scratches to front and back glass, scratches to frame and apparently it needs a replacement battery in order to be recycled!?), in light of these invented faults they have now revised their offer to £30. They are absolute scammers and I am gutted that I didn't think to Google them before I sent my phone in, as I found them through a comparison website I wrongly assumed they were legit.

Do not go near this company. They will rip you off. I had exactly the same experience as most of the people here. I sent off a Samsung S20+ in good condtion, not perfect, but perfectly ok for a 3 year old phone. They quoted £133, but invented faults that were not there and revised the quote to £30. As the cost to return the phone is as much as they are willing to pay for it I took the £30 as I didnt trust them to return the correct phone. I wish I had done some more research as I wouldnt have used this company of scammers.

Order number HO_10007046 I was offered 155 pound for a "working phone" Samsung s21 galaxy so I sent the phone to handtec via royal email. Starting by saying that the phone was in perfect condition like new with the screen a bit worn, after handtec inspection they got back to me saying that the phone had: an internal crack and no battery life. Absolutely not true and just made up on purpose not to pay the initially agreed amount of 155 pound, so they offered a ridiculous 30 pound which I had to accept as I won t be back to the UK until February. I recommend everyone to be extremely careful dealing with this company, they are unprofessional and try in any way possible not to pay you what previously agreed making up things like ”your phone has an internal crack" Shame on you.

Sent in a perfectly good Samsung S20 Ultra, quoted £203 for working condition. Got an email back stating phone was dented, camera broken and heavily scratched. I have photo and video evidence of the phone being packaged and sent. Offered £60. Seems this is a continued scam by someone who has already owned a liquidated business and is repeatedly offering low amounts for phones after agreeing a contract. Will be raising legal action and reporting if phone not returned in same condition it was sent. Also reporting their 40k positive reviews online.

I decided sell my iPhone with Handtec ,the Phone was in excellent condition, with absolutely no scratches.I now wish I had taken photos of it before I sent it to them as they originally offered me £300 for my phone, once they received it they proceeded to give me a revised Quote for £180 as their Engineer had apparently noticed scratches on it !!! IT LEFT MY HOME IN PERFECT CONDITION!!! I demanded my phone be sent back .. it has taken a month to receive it back .. and THEY have scratched the screen to validate their claim that it was faulty !! I’m so angry and upset !!….. BEWARE! I wish I had read these reviews !!!!

Sent my iphone SE 2022 to sell and was quoted £175. Received an email to say the phone was an iphone SE 2022 which was scratched and would require a new screen and housing. I was then offered £30 Complained and sent the original invoice in and was told that I must have accidentally sent the wrong phone!! The phone I sent in was in really good condition so I am absolutely gutted. I will be involving Trading Standards and the police.
