I became a QVC customer back in 2004 and I have to write here that I really enjoyed shopping with them. Very few returns and I mostly bought skincare - Elemis, Gatineau, Liz Earle and L’Occitane. In the last year the quality has gone down. I bought a Wynne layers ‘topper’. It arrived and smelt strongly of stale perfume. To be fair QVC sorted it out and are arranging for it to be collected. This morning I had a phone call asking why I had been returning so much stuff? I had said that the scents of some of these things had changed, but the truth is I just don’t feel the quality is there anymore. It feels like a flipping hard sell on QVC now for substandard products. I have changed tack in the last three weeks and I am putting things to my Wish List account to try and mitigate some of the returns whilst I decide, but I am a tad annoyed that having to return things that have been worn is just frustrating. Emu boots I had to return four pairs because each and every one was worn! This used stock/items has been going on for the last four years now. Along with the fact that I have sent items back and they have not been received. Recently I have been sending it back Recorded Delivery to make totally sure because it makes me feel that I am fault. Now that the Royal Mail has increased its prices I am very wary. The customer service ladies are fabulous - never had a bad one and always unfailing polite and helpful, but I will be honest the quality from a lot of these brands is declining and I wonder if there is a two tier aspect that what they produce for QVC is different from their direct sales. I think the Christmas TSV’s still offer outstanding value and maybe that is where I shall stick to. Just to add that there is published reports online that QVC sales have declined in the last year and that there is a high volume of returns and it may well be that this is the main reason, for that phone call; but that is between the Buyers of QVC and their brands. They cannot expect the customers to pay for muted quality and specifically items that have clearly been worn!

Just been watching MelissaJ what a sight why put skinny tall models who look swamped in these clothes. They are oversized and one size only and some items quite pricy Being 14/16 myself I wouldn’t buy these clothes I think they would make me look bigger. Postage a sore point with me. Also stopping watching QVC now.

I have bought from QVC for quite a few different products, but getting very disappointed with the firm that deliver for them,I have had several parcel's not delivered, the people that dilivere blame our post code and they say that they sing in of at the property next to us but I still don't get anything and QVC just fob you of.

I have been a customer since QVC began and until recently would have given them 5 stars. Their customer support was second to none. They would always help, were generous with guarantee times and products were of premium quality. However, over the last couple of years I’ve had several items below acceptable quality, I think probably seconds. The last one was a Molton Brown body wash. It had a faulty plunger which has made it impossible to use, you have to take the top right off and pour it out. Customer service were patronising and blaming me for not checking. It was 4 months past guarantee but to naked eye looked perfect. You had to use it to know it was faulty. Although QVC eventually refunded £10 to my account I had to really be firm with my case. They made me feel it was my fault. This is not the first incident lately. They have lost their reliability in my opinion and I certainly won’t be shopping with confidence I used to have. I also will stop recommending them. A big shame as I’ve always said before what a great company they were. Sure I’m more upset than they are though.

I use QVC a lot.... And usually it's been terrific. However over the past three months I've received deliveries that have been opened due to poor usage of vacuum sealing on plastic bags. I've received packages ripped because plastic too flimsy... But the final straw was an item of clothing totally sellotaped into a small tubular "thing"! When I eventually opened this item, the"bag"was full of rips, holes etc and the £58 (plus postage) dress was like a crumpled rag. This is a disgraceful way to send expensive clothing. Courier extremely apologetic, but said not enough of the bag existed to just secure or repair the bag. Nearly refused delivery, but didn't as I'd wanted this dress for Christmas. But sent straight back in disgust. I've had excellent customer service from QVC in the past and I know times are tough for everybody just now, but they really need to address their packaging. Will think twice before I use again for clothing. I'd like to add photos taken after if carefully cut off some of the sellotape.
