I purchased two sofas in the collage range. The design is exactly what we wanted but they was just becoming end of line so we were unable to try them out in store as they no held them. A member of staff very helpfully explained what they were like which is exactly how they turned out to be. We wanted a three seater and a two seater sofa. When ordering we were told that they had one with a slight defect on one of the wooden 'feet' and we could have it £100 discount. They delivered on time and was very courteous and no complaints about carrying them up four flights of stairs. As it happened both were in perfect condition and look fantastic in our lounge. Just needed to say this as I very nearly didn't go with Sofology due to all the terrible reports on this website. But I am so very glad we did.

The suite we bought went flat within weeks. An upholsterer came out and “ plumped up the cushions “ and added some extra foam. Unfortunately that new foam collapsed soon after. My husband bought top spec foam from a local supplier and we reinforced the suite with that and scaffold boards. We were absolutely gob smacked when we opened to underside of the 3 piece suite to find bits of all sorts of wood cobbled together with bits of metal and nuts and bolts. I wouldn’t have believed it if I hadn’t seen it. An utter abomination, this firm should be forbidden to trade under the trade descriptions act, they are utter sh##e selling absolute rubbish with no thought of the hard working consumers who expect a good product. Stay clear friends!

Update on my previous review, a technician came out to look at the sofas which are almost two weeks old and found that there is not enough fillings in the cushions, try as he might he could not plump up the cushions, he offered to put more filling in them, but as I consider the sofas to be of poor quality I declined the offer, as per my consumer rights under the 2015 consumer rights act I consider the furniture to be of unsatisfactory quality and within 30 days I can request the furniture be returned and a full refund. Good advice for anyone having problems, must be resolved within 30 days otherwise your consumer rights diminish, do not sit on the furniture for 3 months as I was constantly advised as this takes you out of the time frame for a full refund. Which I am sure they are aware of. The upshot is is that the matter had now been resolved and Sofology will be collecting the Sofas on Saturday. It pays to know your rights and to be persistent.

WARNING:AVOID THIS BRAND. Upon purchasing my (very expensive) sofa, I was assured in store that I would have no trouble with my sofa, and that an in-store colleague had bought the very same one himself (likely a load of rubbish considering the poor quality of the sofa). I have had this sofa Barely 12 months and both my sofas have become unusable, totally flat and ache to sit on for short periods. Numerous calls to sofology later and still no chance of a repair in sight, just keep getting palmed off with "repair parts take a few weeks to make"; it has been 3 whole months. Ofcourse the company prevent you from accessing a complaints department. I am currently pursuing this with BBC's Watchdog and taking legal action. Do not even consider buy from this atrocious company, save yourself a couple of grand and buy a beanbag from Home Bargains.

HORRIBLE QUALITY SOFAS!! Awful customer service after you've purchased their product. Wouldn't be surprised if they paid for all of their 5* reviews as that is what a lot of companies do now a days. Bought a sofa 7 months ago and it has already collapsed. They sold us the more expensive option of foam filled cushions, and due to their highly misleading overzealous website descriptions and sales associates who straight up lie to you, we recieved cheap quality fiber backed cushions because apparently 'only the bottoms are foam.' Called to try and get this resolved only to be met with rude customer service representatives that speak over you and do nothing but tell you that you have to pay extra to resolve this issue, or void your warrenty and get your brand new sofas re upholstered by a third party. Apparently it is normal wear and tear for their sofas to collapse in less than a year, with minimal use in a household that does not have children. Will never ever purchase another product from Sofology, don't make the same mistake. You'd be better off buying used furniture off of gumtree.

Having taken delivery of a Canterbury Sofabed this weekend - we had nervously and needlessly worried by the reviews from this website. We couldn't have got better service or a better sofa for the price. Quality and composition of the sofa was just as in store, customer services and delivery were fantastic and everything went to plan as initially laid out in store. Probably the best sales and delivery people I've dealt with. Granted - we bought fabric and not leather, so from some of the reviews would still be cautious if I were looking at a leather sofa and they may have an issues with complaint handling - but generally I would use them again. Alot of the previous reviews are from non-buyers - they may not be saints but certainly not cowboys.

Basically they mess you about, lie to you, will not help with my purchase which is not even a years old. I find that they say and do what ever. I don’t see the problem that if a customer is not happy with their settee for what ever reason why can they not just sort it out instead of creating all the upset and stress we have enough stress in our lives without them adding to it The video on sofa shield is laughable your kids can have the dinner on it and your pets can lay on it leaving you with no worries you would think having sofa shield would protect the material on your sofa but it does not only spills and tears if your settee goes thread bare in eleven months that is classed as normal. Yet while lm left with a settee I’m not happy with, which could easily be rectified I am still paying for it for another two more years. Yes I will upload photos just because the technician that was sent turned out to be a liar and two faced.

Disgusted with the sofas I have both sofas sinking, and are uncomfortable to sit on. Only a week old and look like they have been sat on for years. Very different foam used to the ones in store. Wold never have choopen these sofas if I had realised how uncomfortable they would be. Yes I have complained and I am waI ting for a technician to look at the sofas. Not holding my breath for an easy resolution.

Terrible. Don't go there. Poorly built although look good in the shop. Aftercare is horrendous.. They don't want to know!! Stay away. Be warned.

I have aleady said how bad this company is on Trust Pilot. I was contacted today. Even though i am booked in for a technician on Tuesday. They have asked I call and book a technician what an absolute joke. Cant the read. We got the Lawrence Sofa delivered eventually on 17 Oct. What a shock, who ever QC'd the sofa must have had there eyes closed. Cushions out on line, not enough packing in places. To top it off, they didnt bring the chair that was ordered. So we had to wait another 2 days for that. The store staff are great you cannot fault them. Most of the delivery guys are great. However customer service is appaling. They promise, but give nothing. Blabbering on about needing a texhician to attend, doing any rectification work onsite. Just a word for those who have taken out finance. Contact them and report it. They will tell you your rights. Oh if you area reading this from sofology. Dont contact me.

Bought a new safari footstool, the delivery process was horrendous, at first they couldn’t find it in the lorry, when they did the packaging was ripped and had large holes in it, the cardboard packaging inside plastic wrapping was not wrapped around the footstool and was merely shoved inside, i carried it from the lorry 100 yards to my house, I unwrapped it and realised the feet were missing, thinking that due to the disgusting state of the packaging it was possible the feet had fallen out so I immediately phoned the delivery driver who was not interested in looking in the back of the lorry, the driver also mentioned what I’d been thinking that this was a customer returned item. So I wasn’t having that so phoned customer services and was given the usual “computer says” spiel, I asked to speak to a Manager, none available, I asked for the name of the Managing Director, this was denied to me, as I was not giving up in the end they offered to collect the item with a full refund. The delivery and customer services system is frankly awful and all this after I had spent in the last 4 weeks or so over 4K on Sofology products. Not pleased

Chinese crap sold by fob off monkeys ! I bought a £3000 leather suite off these horrible people and it was just the worst ever piece of furniture i have ever bought ,serious faults appeared after a couple of weeks and Sofologys call centre basically fobbed me off ,you really should avoid buying anything from this company as soon as they get your cash they dont give a damn !

The worst experience I have ever had with an consumer, purchased a sofa in early 2016 when it arrived within a month a consultant had to come out as there was issues with the legs, thereafter it was problem after problem occurring with the quality of the leather. The lack of support from sofology and customer services was beyond believe - 3 years later have been left no choice to seek legal advise. Do not waste your time with this company.

I was very happy, until the sofa turned up in the wrong colour. I ordered black and got a hideous grey/brown colour. They have turned their backs on me saying that is correct. I have been conned by their system, please be careful you don't fall the same way

Awful customer service no help given leaving me upset my sofa had issue with the cushions the technician said to plump the cushions every night ridiculous with a brand new sofa so I left with disgusted definitely would not recommend Sofology for a sofa

This is without doubt the worst company that I have ever dealt with. The sofa and 2 chairs were damaged on arrival. I have been sent 3 different lots of replacement leather cushion covers and whole pieces of leather to cover the whole carcass of the damaged chairs. Every replacement item has been damaged/faulty. I have been trying to get a resolution since February 2019. I have asked for my complaint to be escalated 6 times, I have asked for a copy of the official complaints procedure 6 times, I have emailed the complaints team directly twice. Today I have been told that I cannot have replacement furniture as they cannot guarantee that the new items will not be faulty or damaged. I have been told the only solution is for my damaged/faulty furniture to be taken away, leaving me with no furniture. This is the only offer of a solution and the final offer. I am taking the matter to the Ombudsman. Sofology have no interest in customers and have untrained, unprofessional staff. Do not use this company. I communicated by email and telephone and took 3 days off work to try and resolve the matter

Absolutely avoid at all costs. Bought a sofa Midas to which the studs have rusted and been told that there’s no time scale on how long they would take to rust? Nothing they can do! D/D held and trading standards have been contacted to further assist me. The customer service was shocking & the attitude of the staff on the phone is nothing I’ve ever heard before. It seems to be there aren’t interested after purchase unless you’ve got there aftercare kit / insurance.

Purchased a leather reclining sofa with "Sofashield" support. Within 18 months of moderate and careful use the leather started to peel away. Contacted sofology and they told me I would not be covered as it was down to "wear and tear" I dont own any animals however I have family and friends who also own leather sofas and do have animals that climb all over them and I have seen less damage on their furniture. Poor quality. Will never shop there again....still stuck paying for this one in the finance agreement too!
