Would give 0 stars if I could. Ordered sofa 16 weeks ago in store which was all great - we did this so that when we moved out the sofa could be delivered straight away. We had delivery booked for 13th of feb - paid an extra £40 as it was a Saturday booking. Got an email on the Friday night (12/02) that the sofa wasn’t going to come with NO explanation. Rang them the next day they came up with excuses and said the sofa hadn’t been delivered to them - they said will call us as soon as they get it. I asked them if they could send us a temp sofa which in fairness they did but was very reluctant and I had to ask twice. Didn’t hear from them for a while, ended up calling them on Saturday 20/02 and they said ‘oh the sofa arrived in the warehouse on the 18th’ didn’t think to ring and tell me. We got delivery booked in for today (23/02), but heard nothing from them about the delivery the day before, so we rang them this morning and they said it will come between 11am-3pm, nothing came, so at 430pm we rang again and they said it’s on its way - it wasn’t - and we are still without a sofa. I get there is a lot going on at the moment but would just like to know the truth as we have to rearrange work etc for nothing. Also just to mentioned - Each phone call you are on hold for about 30 minutes. I regret buying from them and the stress of house move has been tripled because of there rubbish service. DO NOT RECOMMEND!

I have never dealt with a company like this in my life there sales techniques are very good but once you receive the goods these guys do not want to know you there after sales are the worst I’ve ever witnessed they are rude and make you feel like a criminal because you find a fault in there products after buying a suite for £3500 and not being told by sales that dye transfer is not covered under your warranty I made a complaint and the service we have received is horrendous basically been told the usual sales pitch T&C apply no help no understanding what’s so ever so please think again before buying from this company all we are looking for was some middle ground and one of the sales team I’ll not mention by name but the company will know who he is has definitely not had much experience in customer care to say the least

We took delivery of our sofa and 2 recliners in November. It was noted that one of the recliners had a severed wire, so would not work. The delivery driver reported it and said that the new part would be ordered and would be on a weeks delivery. After 2 weeks I chased up said part to be told that the wrong part had been ordered, and would be on a 14 week delivery, the same amount of time it took to make the entire suite. Having then tried to get through to Sofology for an explanation as to why the part would take 14 weeks, we were still getting nowhere. At the end of December, we were then told that the part had not been ordered due to an oversight. one month after delivery, and we still have a faulty chair. I then sent an email to their CEO and didn't even get the courtesy of a reply. I have spoken to customer service again, and I am still not confident the correct part, or indeed any part has been ordered. Costomer Service are asking me to tell them which part is broken. We are at the point now where unless we receive a satisfactory answer this week we will go down the legal route. They are all too quick to take the money, but their Customer Service is absolutely awful. Would never buy from or recommend themn. Awful company

Not even worth a 1 star!!!!!!!! This company is beyond a joke! We ordered a cushion and a lamp last October 2020 and are still awaiting the small cushion. I can’t believe it’s taken this long! We’ve recently moved house and have ordered a lot of things that has had to be hand made for example a Heavy large wooden table and chairs, wardrobes, sofas, beds and they have all come before this. I’m shocked to say the least the customer service is rubbish! DO NOT buy from here. Complete waste of time and money. I’m glad we never ordered our sofas from here as I’ll probably be dead before I get to sit on them! Livid isn’t the word

Absolutely terrible quality. The cushions do not support an actual adults weight. Fault sofa for which I’ve been waiting over 2 months for replacement parts. The customer service is actually quite good but I’d rather not have to deal with them at all. If the sofas weren’t so badly made you wouldn’t have to be constantly on the phone to them. £2000 wasted.

Well well well..What a surprise! We are beyond shocked at the number of unhappy customers & all the negative reviews. We have had our sofa for 3 years, the leather is still good BUT the inner padding of the right hand seat/cushion has totally sunken & compacted within itself. This had led to continual back ache for both myself & my husband. Sofology sent out a Technician who did inform us that it was fixable & he'd arrange someone to get in touch & come out & would be able to put new packing in etc. Low & behold not long after the chap left we get an email from Customer service stating that they cannot do anything as we have gone past our 2 year warranty dead line..& their supplier no longer makes our style of sofa any more! What?....The guarantee on the website is so misleading..The internals are only covered for two years..where as the frame work is covered for 20 years? What gets most use? The seating of course! Durr! The cover offered for the internals etc. are totally ridiculous! It should be longer..Our sofa is NOT fit for purpose..We cannot take the cushions off the settee as they are sewn on! The settee is so uncomfortable, its knackered! Customer service didn't want to know. The visit from the technician just gives you all the flannel & bullshi*t to keep you happy, get your hopes up then nada!.. Thanks very much Sofology! We won't be purchasing or recommending you ever again! I think this is a case for WATCHDOG!

Leaving this review here as I looked at these reviews before buying from sofology and got very nervous. I had no reason to be - our Finchley sofa arrived two weeks ago (a week sooner than expected!) and we love it. The delivery was seamless and the sofa itself looks lovely and is very comfortable to sit on. Seems good quality so far too.

Like many other comments on here. Got my sofas 2 years ago. Fixed cushion seating cannot be plumped so if you sit in the same seat (as most would tend to do as everyone has their favourite place) and weigh more than a feather, the seat dips and there is no way of plumping it. For an expensive sofa it now looks sh**. Support on line is non existant. I so wish I had not bothered to purchase this sofa now. Avoid Sofology.

Ordered 2 sofas which.came yesterday rang cause they’re wrong color to what I ordered nearly 2 hours on phone and they just keep telling me it’s the right color. I’ve asked for a swatch but they say they haven’t got any and I’ll have to wait till showroom opens. Rang them again today but same old just keep transferring to another dept then tell you I’ll ring you back at when I’ve looked into it. Then an email come case closed because they still say they sent right colour. Never ever again would I order from this company

Bought a 2 seater Bulgravia sofa with the standard 2 year warranty. After 3 years, the seat cushions are worn out, they are sewn in so cannot be rotated/flipped/plumped, feels like you're not far off sitting on the floor. Another issue being the leather is worn and discoloured on every seat edge and seam. Would not recommend Sofology, the finance agreements lasts longer than the furniture.

I spent £2,000 on a leather corner sofa. Within months it was sagging and pooling badly, with only one 8 stone adult using it in the evenings. They sent somebody out who insisted on using a heat blower to shrink the leather, which made it worse. I then had the furniture ombudsman, who they buy into, so not independent in my view, treat me with a total lack of respect in my own home, he was intimidating and said he’d seen worse. Needless to say, I got nowhere.

I waited six month for my sofa to finally arrive. I had three delivery dates and they never turned up...no apologies, no cancellation call or email. Phoned, texted, emailed and tweeted to ask the whereabouts of my sofa. After, weeks of trying to get in contact, I was told that they lost my sofa and couldn’t locate it anywhere. I was told on December 29th that they located it and would deliver on 31st. Two guys came to the door, didn’t even try to bring the sofa in, said they’d have to take it back and get the bloke with small hands to dismantle it. To be honest, I think they just couldn’t be bothered to try because they wanted an early knock off on New Years Eve. The sofa was delivered on 9th January, the guys had no problem with getting it through the door, it hadn’t been dismantled. So, my theory of an early knock off must have been correct! Anyway, the sofa has been compromised because of the long storage, but Sofology are not claiming responsibility! They said they’d send their guy around with a test gun to see if they can get the creases out! Absolutely disgusted at the customer service and the quality of the sofa...almost £4,000 down the drain!

Purchased a Sofology 'China Clay' soft leather suite two years ago. The 'film' has started lifting on the leather on the arms and headrest. Sofology say it is outside the 2 year guarantee period and there is nothing they can do. They added that cleaning with anything other than their proprietary cleaning kit is detrimental to the leather and invalidates the guarantee. We were not advised of this at the time of purchase, neither can we find reference to it in any of the documentation. It actually started to fail within the guarantee period but we couldn't visit Sofology to explain our problem because of self isolating with the Covid-19 virus and shops being closed for business. They did eventually visit and inspect and said that the problem was result of contamination by bodily oils. We have had to purchase a new headrest (£220)from them which will take 14 weeks to deliver and they have offered to waive the fitting charge (£69) as a token of good will. I don't know how we can resolve the problems with the arms. Regardless of any guarantee period our argument is that this leather is 'not fit for purpose' if it fails in only two years with only normal wear and tear and regular cleaning using a reputable brand (Lord Sheraton) leather cleaner. The problem areas are getting bigger by the day and are now the size of 50p pieces. I would add that every time you telephone or email Sofology you end up with a different person and complaint number and it's frustrating to keep explaining the same problem every time. I feel that the only recourse left is to contact Trading Standards and see what their opinion is.

Having waited almost four months for my chairs to arrive on the 8/1/21, I was very excited when they finally got delivered. Delivery was easy and straight forward. However, I immediately noticed three little feet on the bottom of one of the chairs had been broken and there was a hole in the same chair. The delivery man advised me to ring Sofology helpline which I did immediately. The helpline assistant talked me through the process and agreed to see if there were any identical chairs in stock. He suggested we put a date in the diary for the 26/1/21 for a technician to come and fix the chair just encase an identical chair was not in stock. I agreed for the technician to come and fix the chair provided the fixes was not noticeable. On the 13/1/21 the Scottish Government stated that non-essential visits to homes were no longer allowed. As such, I rang Sofology and asked for the chair to be replaced given the visit of the technician was unlikely to be deemed 'essential' and it was unclear when a technician would be able to visit to fix the chair. A Sofology representative told me they were unable to replace the chair until a technician visits my home to complete a report confirming whether or not the issue is a manufacturer default. I personally couldn't care less how the fault has occurred. The only thing I care about is that one of the chairs delivered to me is damaged. I have since been told that completing the report is a legal requirement. I seriously doubt this is the case because if I order a pair of jeans online from any reputable company and they are damaged I am able to send them back and get a replacement without anybody needing to complete a report. Sofology have since confirmed that fixing a hole in a chair is deemed an essential visit and they should still be able to attend on the 26/1/21. However, the fact that a technician needs to visit the chair before they are able to confirm there are issues and it should be replaced is ludicrous. Especially seen as I have already provided pictures and the two reps who have seen the pictures agree the chair is broken.

I have all the problems that every other person below has reported. This is a disgusting company! I have not words to explain how bad they are. I had already written my bad reviews hoping to help someone else and to avoid feeling the way I felt after I had purchased the sofa from this company. The reason I am writing now is that I finally decided to buy the foams from Efoam (very good). It looks like I have fixed my problem.....at least until the sofa doesn’t fall apart. Avoid Sofology people!

Had a sofa 1& half yrs cushion all gone saggy & flat had technician out , for him to plump it up take pics for his report & say there’s nothing wrong with it & you just have to plum it up once a wk , but you sit on it for half an hour & see pics below for results, i took insurance out when I bought the sofa saying it covers any problem,( GUESS WHAT NOT WORTH THE PAPER ITS WRITTEN ON ) so now they have a report from there technician the case is closed won’t come out again to sofa for second opinion, & like I said to the 4 different ppl I spoke to today I have to plump the cushion up 3 times a day , to make it look presentable, Iv worked un upholstery factory myself many yrs ago so I know exactly why I’m talking about , I’d also like to say I have done exactly what they told me to do rota the cushion & plump every wk for general wear , I also know to expect it to go flat a little knotting stays perfect, but this I a ridiculous amount off excess fabric, I can purchase new inserts £136 just for my sofa , I would strongly recommend ppl to read reviews before stepping one foot in sofology because there aftersale is disgusting disgraceful would not have another sofa from there even if it was free , so £2800 pounds after I need to consider my opinion to buy another sofa , to be fare my sofa I got rid of after 14 yrs was in better condition ,

Terrible after sales my sofa cushions are faulty as the fabric keeps turning round every time you see sunny so you have to unzip and reposition the foam to the fabric every time it’s a joke I took out extra insurance on this after numerous emails asked them to send somebody out to check this guy with arms the size of pop I came out to do exactly what I do with repositioning the fabric across the foam which not only the zip cuts into my arms but my arms aren’t the size of Popeyes in order to do this so it’s very difficult. I then emailed and complained again on my emails just got ignored do not take out the extra insurance better still go by sofa elsewhere avoid this company at all cost I now just want to throw the sofa in the tip

Sofa barely two years old and fixed cushion now too flat to sit on. Padded up with cushions. Two emails before I got standard response of being out of warranty (by one month). Sent them consumer rights letter explaining the warranty doesn't matter if goods not fit for purpose. I was then assured my issue had been passed to priority team and would receive a reply within 2-24 hours - this was 8 days ago. 2 emails to them have since been ignored. Shocking attitude towards customers who clearly spend a lot of money for shoddy goods
