“Unfortunately I get bad experience with them and can't recommend that place to anyone. Firstly no refund or exchange for unopened and sealed item (wrong size) Secondly I re-orded another one online, received my comfirmation ref.number, but couldn't collect it, as system was still in pending stage!!! After waiting outside for another 30min. been told that system crashed and order could not come till tomorrow.
What??!! Are You Seriously?!!
What the point to buy online if you have issues like that? That shows disrespect on personal time, and client. Sadly that I cannot give them less than 1 star”
“There is no option for no stars but even if there were a ranking of zero would be far too high. Ineptitude and incompetence at its highest level. After ordering goods to a value of just short of £100 on a click and collect basis I'm still waiting a week later for any kind of communication. Their phone lines have been out for at least a week and their website now states that it will take 3 to 4 days to answer an email. They have taken my money and abandoned any form of customer service to the extent that I demanded a refund 3 days ago and again I've heard nothing. Toolstation are an utter disgrace when other suppliers are performing brilliantly during the coronavirus with virtually no delays or drop in customer service. I will never use Toolstation again”
“Just placed an order for delivery. Amid the Coronavirus thing, Toolstation is the only website that's working at the moment. B&Q site is down, Wickes is shot, Screwfix is about to keel over. Haven't received the order yet obviously but credit to Toolstation for keeping their site working where others have failed.”
“Went to GOSPORT Toolstation today amid the Covid 19 Pandemic for my click and collect electrical items to finish off a job for an eldery customer today. The system they employed for 'Social Distancing' was basic, simple and very effective. Goods were available as told in the text I was sent (to minimise the time I had to wait). After a brief ( and expected short wait) I was serves politely and safely. The staff were helpful and very courteous as always at this branch.
The company and especially the staff deserve credit for working though and providing a service at these harrowing times.. WELL DONE YOU GUYS!!!”
“Used click and collect. Told item was in stock only to arrive at store to be told not in stock. Then told toolstation not processing ANY refunds until corid virus crisis over. THEREFORE AVOID TOOLSTATION”
“After buying online an item, I went to collect it and it was given to another buyer. I was disappointed and was said " call for refund". I showed my invoice and didn't care. They suppose to keep your order for 30 days. They are absolutely unprofessional and don't bother if the customer is satisfied with them. Never buy there”
“Do not touch this cowboy of a company.
Brought drain rods that snapped within 10 mins of using them, leaving me with stuck rods in the drain. Canterbury branch very unhelpful, customer service very unhelpful .”
“I purchased a Dust-extractor but, it wasn't clear in the catalogue which of the two dust-bags was the correct one for the model I purchased. Contacted customer services to ask the question and was told they didn't know and give me the Manufacturers phone number to ring. It might of been a good idea to have the code for the relevant dust-bag for each model in the description like is done with some other products.”
“I visited tool station today at Salisbury and I was very impressed with the knowledge and the service that I was given from one particular member of staff who I think her name was Michelle very impressed very helpful and I will definitely be using tool station in the future”
“It's always a good experience to buy tools from tool station
Staff is very helpful.
SUSAN WAS VERY HELPFULL TODAY IN GETTINFG MY STUGG I NEEDED
From glasgow branch”
“Tried to get some more vanguard hacksaw blades today. Not available anymore, the toolstation own make replacements I bought, are very poor in comparison. Shame, buy elsewhere.”
