“I have had the most wonderful experience today at the Taunton store. I am disabled and was helped and treated with respect on both visits. I cannot praise the staff enough and recommend the to anyone. Thank you everyone that helped me with my purchase.”

“I ordered and paid for a lawnmower and strimmer on Thursday 4th July. Told it would be ready for collection on the friday. Went in the afternoon to pick it up to be told it was not yet in try Saturday. got phone call Saturday to say it still was not in. I rang central office on Tuesday who said it had been delivered to my local tool station the day before. I went down to collect it on the Tuesday. Took it home to find the strimmer was damaged. Rang central office again and they arranged to have it picked up on Thursday morning 11th July. I have not heard from tool station since and still have not got a lawnmower after paying in FULL 12 days ago.”

“Toolstation in Huntingdon are great! Always have a good laugh in store amongst all customers but the staff do take their jobs seriously when it is needed. Great prices, mostly available stock - and if they don’t have it they can get it next day free delivery! Toolstation is a home from home for most trade and it’s really good that the staff get to know their customers and always greet anyone who walks in. Good job!”

“Dire. Bought a multi-tool. it gave up before the day was out. I got a replacement. It gave up after 4 hrs use. Asked for a refund. No, because it had been used. It wasn't even a week old...”

“The products are decent a bit more pricer then screwfix, tea is free which is always a bonus. However, Toolstation policy is to price match screwfix, workers at Toolstation rarely tell customers due to the hassle of ringing head office. And usually make up a excuse when asked to price match! Workers don't seem to have a clue what they are doing, they don't know what products they are selling or what they are used for. Recently I asked a worker to give me bolts and a drill bit to fit the bolts however he has given me a size too small, wasting a full day on the job! Toolstation management really need to employ people from the trade and train staff on what products they sell and how they are used... The customer service could do with a brushing up!”

“As I am not a tradesman I don't use Toolstation regularly. Today I bought a couple of items for counter collection.A very courteous young man,James served me. I picked up the items and left in a hurry.Just about ready to drive when I saw James holding my mobile and knocking on the drivers window.I'd forgotten it on the counter. Thank you young man and thank you Toolstation.”

“Bought petrol chainsaw from Kinning Park branch. Did not work returned to Toolstation and after inspection refused to accept as there was smell of petrol. The tank had been emptied but when opening fuel cap there was a smell of petrol.Unsure how you can operate petrol chainsaw without petrol They asked me to take the product away without any focus on replacement/refund. I told them to keep it on Toolstation premises. Kinning Park now saying they did not receive returned product.”

“Very poor service , they are quick enough to take your money and then it takes a week to get your money back, ordered in good faith for a Saturday delivery and they then tried to deliver the wrong items , spoke to them and was told I’d get the correct items by Tuesday lunch! Did not happen. I rang them and was told they did not know what had happened, asked to speak to a manager who rang me back in the afternoon. Her name was Megan not the one on maternity leave.! She promised me she would ring me back at 9 am the following day, guess what she didn’t and when I rang at 9.30 she was apparently on another call and I was told that I would not get my items, so offered a refund, what a poor service and very disappointed in the unprofessional Manger of working for toolstation for 20 years.”

You reviewed Toolstation Add photo william breeze 5 reviews Star 1 Star 2 Star 3 Star 4 Star 5 Just now Purchased can of Thompson 10 year… Purchased can of Thompson 10 year waterseal to temporary repair a damaged flat roof,It arrived with the lid off in the box(NO CLIPS),put it on expensive front door mat,signed for it courier left(WEARING LATEX GLOVES)then I realised why,it had leaked all over the Door Mat.I contacted Toolstation who wher helpfull "AT FIRST" untill they suggested scrubbing it of the next day as it was waterbased and not waterproof,Its roof sealer for Christ's sake!!!,Anyway won't be buying off them again...”
