Awful algorithms. Their pricing suggestions are ludicrious. I listed a Jean Patou hat in great condition which cost over £300 just 2 years ago and the Vestiaire suggested I sell it for £28 I tried to list a vintage necklace and I had proof of purchase and serial number but because the hallmark had faded owing to be being vintage, they said it couldn't be verified. This company has gone right down the toilet. Avoid.

I had a deeply disappointing and frustrating experience with Vestiaire Collective. From the moment I signed up, I encountered significant issues that reflect poorly on their customer service and overall management. Despite providing all the necessary proofs of authenticity for my items, my account was inexplicably deactivated. I reached out multiple times seeking clarification and assistance, but the responses I received were shockingly disrespectful and unprofessional. The customer service representatives responded in a monotonous manner, often forwarding generic messages that completely ignored my specific concerns. What is even more troubling is the lack of transparency and the discriminatory attitude displayed towards me. They failed to provide any valid reason for the deactivation of my account, and their dismissive responses made it clear that they had no interest in resolving the issue or respecting me as a new user. This experience has left me feeling mistreated and discriminated against. Vestiaire Collective’s handling of my situation has been nothing short of appalling, showcasing their lack of respect for customers and their unwillingness to provide adequate support. In conclusion, I would strongly advise against using Vestiaire Collective. Their customer service is the worst I have ever encountered, marked by rudeness, a lack of transparency, and discriminatory practices. They need to make significant improvements to their approach if they hope to maintain any credibility and trust with their users.

I declined a low ball offer, pointed out that I mention this is my lowest price and that my offers are switched off, the other person then proceeded to racially abuse and threaten me (she has no picture, I have a picture up where it is obvious that I am fair skinned and strawberry blonde), several of her messages were deleted by the system, I can only assume due to the profanities she used, her new approach was misspelling profanities, I blocked her, she moved on to another item and opened a chat there, again with insults and threats. I reported her as it was really getting to me, the app was constantly letting me know somebody had asked "a question" and I really didn't enjoy the gutter language of said person. I sent it with the required screen shots, as a result I got the same copy and paste message over and over about how to report, I replied I had reported it, they kept sending them and telling me they would close the issue should I not reply. So I did it again, they told me that they already have it and why I opened a separate chat (because they told me to) and now my chat is blocked. So I assume that Vestiaire stands with people who utter threats and abuse, what a lovely company.... I would like to stress, I have not once used profanities, I have asked this person repeatedly to leave me alone, yet I am the one who is banned from chat!

I bought a bag, which was supposedly verified. First time I used it the handle snapped. It had clearly been glued, however because it was after 72 hours nobody will help me. The seller is still allowed to actively sell on the website. Be careful seller is mybunbag. So disappointing and I’ve been ripped off.

Bought several items from different sellers on this site. I have only ever received one. The sellers usually cancel days after payment is processed with no reason. Vestiaire Customer Service are useless. These sellers are allowed to keep their accounts as if nothing has happened, so there is no penalty for withdrawing sales after they have taken place. Have seen the same items subsequently re-listed at higher prices, again, with no penalty to the seller. What is the point? Avoid.

Worse experience ever!!!They have blocked my account before I even started!Probably smbd loves me up there,because I did not stand a chance in front of them,didn't even have the "opportunity" to have any ugly experience with them while actually buying or selling!Lucky me!!! Fraud,"we don't give a f*ck!",and lack of honesty and profesionalism is what's coming first to my mind,but who cares...?!They don't give a chance to a newcomer,so I'm happy to get rid of such nasty app!Brrrr!👎🤢

They charge disgusting amounts of fees to ship parcels and verify them. Far from the go go to platform as a seller. Its Definitely better to go with Vinted, Ebay, Depop etc. Vestiare are crooks. Im selling an item for £500 and they charge the buyer an extra £300 on top to ship it to Bulgaria from UK? Thieves! Oh yeay, the item is a small handbag weighing less than 1kg....LOL I use Vestiare but just to have my items their if they sell for the price that i want for them then thats good. Otherwise i will in no way ever be spending money with/on Vestiare or recommending them to ANYONE.

I sold something, buyer reported an issue, I couldn't understand what it was but I got a totally different item back, basically a no name t-shirt instead of my Valentino shoes, they do not even reply. Then I declined a low ball offer, I got abusive messages and threats, I did contact VC, they lied to me that they tried to call me (no, really not) and how they take care of it, while I am still getting abusive messages, I can only block the person on the item, they then move on to the next item

If I could give a negative number I would. I ordered two pair of earrings on May 19th. The first pair - Lanvin clips - arrived with the stone detached from the earring. I started the refund process immediately and it is excuse after excuse why they won't refund. The second pair arrived June 11th, 23 days later. I was not home at that time; but opened them and didn't see anything wrong. Traveled again. Took earrings out of box to try on and felt that the stone had a chip. After multiple emails (they won't respond unless you contact them via their website and then you have to respond to one of their emails or they reject your communication; also phone always rings busy). Tonight I tried a live chat. The person on the chat looked at the original post and said that he could see the earrings were damaged in the original photograph. Well I couldn't and they had rated them Very Good Condition - no material damage, missing pieces or odor." Their solution - resell damaged goods through their website. Are you kidding me? I have filed a complaint with the Consumer Complaint division of the Attorney Generals office in my home state; with my credit card company and am adding reviews where ever possible to warn others off this site. Sent complaint letter to their CEO as well. Completely horrible service as many other reviews have stated;

I am extremely disappointed with Vestiaire Collective. I bought running shoes from them, but they disappeared with the delivery company, Evri . Trying to get in touch with their customer service is a nightmare—they take 4-5 hours to reply, if at all. I requested a refund, but they refuse to process it and say they'll get back to me in 30 days, which is completely unacceptable. Their service is so poor that I’m deleting the app and will never use it again. How can a company like this still operate in the United Kingdom in the 21st century? If I could, I would give them a zero-star rating I do not recommend this app to anyone. Save yourself the trouble and avoid Vestér Collective. I still haven’t received my order which supposed to arrive on 17 of June as a birthday present for a cancer patient

I bought a dress made by Maje from a profile on VC. The dress was clearly fake low quality stitching and uneven cuts, but VC deemed it real after return and I could not get a refund. I only had two choices either get the dress back or have VC resell it which I find irresponsible

I ordered a Louis Vuitton luggage tote, my first order with the company entitled me to a 10 percent discount which for some reason wasn't applied to the order so I asked after it was placed to see how I would be able to get it. They said that I would not be able to get it since the order was placed. With much conversation about it they still were not going to make an exception. This is my first and last time dealing with a company that has a zero policy and I have a zero policy for not treating the customer first. Sad I am leaving this rating so you can deal with them I won't. eBay is better for Louis Vuitton luggage anyway

I was scammed and stolen at Vestiaire Collective. My account had suspicious login activity, and access was blocked for 3 days. During this blocking period, I stopped receiving communication emails from the platform and someone changed my personal information data, including my bank account to receive payments from sales. The account was reactivated, and no one informed me that the data had changed. Yesterday my payment ended up in another account that it is not mine. Vestiaria doesn't even respond to me on chat, but it responds on another platforms like trustpilot, which suggests they don't want to solve the problem. How can a blocked account make changes to personal data? This is inside job!!I f they keep not answer me on chat support or give me a solution, next step is the authorities!!

I was delivered a damaged dress. they refused to handle my problem, because I was not complaining within 3 days. this is ridiculous and against European laws. seems like they don't care.

Vestiaire fees are extremely high! If you're trying to reach international customers, good luck cause although they lowered commissions for sellers, they increased buyer fees. Also have no idea why their import duties and tax computations are so high?? I did research on import taxes and duties per country and Vestiaire's is higher, I asked about it through their CS and they just gave a standard reply and basically said I should lower MY prices! But how when for example I had a potential customer from Europe I think, she said that when she was about to checkout the total price was 40-50% higher my selling price due to the taxes?? EDIT: Just to give context based on VCs reply - I was selling an item for 240 USD, that customer from Europe said that with all the fees and taxes, her total became slightly over 410 USD - I googled and most tax rates in Europe are 12% (sometimes lower)... how did 240 become 410? :)) Of course she ended up not buying it, and I can't discount my item so much to make up for the high fees (it would be like selling my item for almost free)... I've gotten many messages like this...I guess VC is only good if you plan to sell locally (like US to US), if you want to reach an international customer base, look elsewhere

I will NOT EVER sell with this scam company again, a buyer will claim they received something else, they will return a totally worthless item and you can't even get customer service to investigate and help you as apparently the case is close when you received the return (a totally different item and a no name item instead of genuine designer shoes) they don't care. Customer support non existent but it seems to be the nirvana of scammers

NEVER again will I purchase form this company. They state a return policy that allows for returns if purchase is from an expert seller, tried to do a return and they denied it. I even have photos from the day I purchased showing it was listed as an expert seller. Not a trustworthy company in any way!

I'd give 0 stars if it was possible. I joined and have purchased many items and all sales have gone smoothly. I noticed I was banned from a chat with a seller. I contacted support and they took ages to let me know that I will be forever banned from chats and they won't tell me why due to confidentiality. What a ridiculous outcome considering I haven't engaged in a single chat. Awful service. Buyers beware that this company does not support their buying customers.

They sold me an item that seems fake but when I tried to return they claim it is authentic and my only option is to resell it (at $100 loss). So now the items just sits there and I am out of pocket. They do not provide any form of helpful customer service and do not abide by their listed policies. Beware.

I sold my earrings, but item was lost by Royal Mail. Although Buyer got a refund straight away. I ended up with no DOLCE GABBANA earrings no money. After month of back and forth with Customer Service they wrote this email for me : I am coming back to you regarding your Earrings under reference : 43303068 and the investigation we opened with the carrier. Following a thorough investigation with the carrier, they have denied responsibility for the issue, thus, we are unable to provide payment in this particular instance. I understand that this news may not be what you were hoping for, but please know that our decision aligns with our company's policy regarding disputed deliveries” I’m follow the rules, they choose Royal Mail 48 h without insurance. They must have choose next day delivery with insurance. I HAVE NO EARRINGS FOR COST 900 EU !!! AND NO MONEY. They washed the hands. I deleted my all sale never selling here again. And I will report them. No one can do this with no one! Be very careful with them.
