They will damage and scratch your item and not take responsibility for it. Even when you provide photos of the item right before shipping it. They can’t even authenticate without receipt and they dont know how to handle leather goods. Apparently scratches magically appear during transit! Customer service is unreliable and disappointing just like the rest of VC. It has been days with emails and chats now they are asking as if i did not send anything or was suppose to get an update. Sale fell through and now I’ll be receiving back a bag with a deep scratch that was not there before simply devalued my item. I don’t recommend their platform or to send any of your expensive items through them. Disappointing and unnecessarily stressful experience.

I have been sent three counterfeit items from private sellers. Two of which were a LV wallets, which I have already received my money back for. One is an LV Demur Neverful handbag. They are making it difficult for me to send to them bc I just realized it is a fake and it’s only three weeks since I’ve received it. Do yourselves a favor and buy from RealReal. Their authentication process is thorough. Vestiaire allows the sellers to send directly from their homes to take the onus off of them for authentication purposes. They aren’t worth the trouble and headache I’ve had to go through, and continue to go through.

Unprofessional and dishonest! An Item I listed was sold, I sent it according to the instructions I got. The sale was canceled after I already sent the parcel, it was returned to me and marked "personal import" instead of a return so I was charged customs tax as if this was a purchase I made (luxury item so, the tax was not cheap!!). I spoke with customer service about finding a solution to this to no avail, no one would help, and no offer to fix the problem or refund the tax I have to pay due to a mistake they could have avoided. Terrible customer service, no availability. I don't recommend listing anything on their website or working with them as if there is any problem, you are on your own, stay away!!

Very bad customer service and they have… Very bad customer service and they have serious problems addressing the interface and other issues on their app and site. They NEVER reply to mails and their chat takes at least 5 hours to reply. Unacceptable fees that are about 5-15% of the articles. They charge BOTH the sellers AND buyers! Not recommended Tip for consumers: really disappointing interface and service They charge BOTH the sellers AND buyers! Products used: refunds take a loooong time, items ship whenever the seller feels like it. Many sellers cancel on sales without notice. users are often blocked from chats without explanation. They charge BOTH the sellers AND buyers!

hello im writing this bewerung sinc i orders somthing from vestiar twic they claim that they chack the item if it fits as describet wich dident happend i paid over 40 chf for item to be checkd and the item does not correspodd to decription they dontsend the phot wehr the bag its been mensserment. and wont to accept it all that they say is that they have chekd and im wrong i have sentet photo wher i mensserd the bag wich is not as on description i paid for the bag over 500 chf to bee said just item has been checkd they dont acept the photos wich i sentet of the item now thy have the bag hope to find my rights thru anwalt sinc then i have to wait an answer from my anwalt so bad that i cant uplod photos of the bag that i menssurd and the descriptin thats on web

Fake bag bought from VC website despite it says “authentication guaranteed”, was soooo complicated and stressed to return/refund. The worst thing is you can NOT unsubscribe from email, I tried to unsubscribe it dozens of times but still get their emails. This website so should be illegal!

I was extremely dissatisfied with Vestiaire. I ordered a Chanel bag and the first time I used it, the Chanel Logo cracked right off. I went back and forth with Vestiaire because I am convinced this bag is not real, and they refused to take it back. I would never order from this site again. I have been reading the many negative reviews and I wish I had done that before I used their services.

I purchased a LV neverfull and it was fake. I tried to reach out to customer services several times but when they responded they told me to stop sending messages or they would not respond to me anymore. Horrible company. I have bought several bags before from this app but this is the first time this has happened. I’m so disappointed and upset. I’m not sure what to do

I am a seller on VC. I currently have a number of outstanding issues with VC. 1. Unable to list items 2. Provided all of the necessary pictures and receipt for items yet my item has not been listed 3. Sold a bag and the receipt was included with the bag. When the bag reached VC I received an email saying the sale was on hold and they requested the receipt. Why request what was already provided? 4. App is says I am on vacation however I do not have vacation mode enabled. This is hindering sales. I continue to get the same response from VC stating they will get back to be in 24-48 hours. It has well over 2 weeks.

my experience with this website has been nothing short of terrible they have no gender neutral section if you miss a detail or need to correct information on an item you can’t edit you have to go through long winded process with their customer service the customer service takes 20+ to speak to a person only to get generic response the people who “authenticate “ items have no knowledge what they are looking for its an absolute joke

Sold a new with tags dress from Selfridges. Bought for over 1k sold for £350. The buyer sent it to Vestiaire for authentication. I offered to provide a receipt and even explained that I work In fashion so I can contact the brand to get anything they need to help. They cancelled the sale because it’s not genuine? Sorry but who is authenticating these items?! I wouldn’t trust anything on the website if they can’t even tell a genuine item from a fake

Received an item that has two issues: sizing and condition. The seller said was Italian 42, but turned out to be a French 42. When I wanted to return it, VC said that this is not a good enough reason? Should the onus be on the buyer to do the legwork for finding out a brand’s sizing standard or should the sellers be trusted to put the correct size? In addition to this, the seller stated that there were only marks inside, however when it arrived, the label had a marker line across it, as well as stains all over the front (including hard to remove make up stains). Again, VC says they will not let me return the item even if it’s not according to the seller’s description. Honestly, BUYERS BEWARE. Vestiaire Collective will probably just reply with a canned response because their customer service is a joke.

The VC Customer Service team is so unresponsive!! Not recommended at all. There is no reply from the seller and also no reply from the VC team when it comes to asking a question. Really disappointed!

So the seller who is using my picture without my permission is still using my picture, despite all the reassuring messages from Vestiaire that it is not allowed, according to their comment here, the measures they have been taking is "emailing the seller" how wonderful, because this is the 2nd time the seller is using the pictures and the seller will continue to use my pictures because obviously nothing is going to happen! Why on earth do I take pictures of my items when it is obviously a free for all and Vestiaire claims they do something about it but don't? Seller Vestimenta has repeatedly used one of my pictures, several sales, never taken down!

Order #23964923 I have sold over 50 items with them I was an expert seller and out of nowhere they blocked my account I am no longer able to log in or speak to Customer service they have blocked all email messages etc, they have a pending sale from me and have stole my money and my handbag I only sale high quality brands balenciaga, Louis Vuitton, Chanel, Givenchy and they have done this to me twice . The first time it was resolved . Now it’s been one month and I haven’t heard back from them I have no other way to contact them as they have blocked me out . I would NOT trust this company with your luxury sales

If i could give this company zero stars I would! I mailed My purse in to be authenticated four months ago. Consistently reached out by emails to follow up on the status. Every time they would send a email back stating they would get back to me in 48 hours and no one ever does. I tried The chat option and the custom service reps answer until i explAin my issue and no one reply’s back. I get a email 2 weeks ago stating that they LOST MY BAG and they will refund me. Well it’s have been four months and i still Haven’t received a refund. Just a bunch of excuses that they are working on it! Please don’t buy from this site if anything goes wrong you will not be REFUNDED!

Sold an item and sent the next day. I tried to find a place to log my tracking number but there isn’t a place to contact/ confirm. Messaged buyer directly with details and tracking. Two weeks later I receive an email saying the order was cancelled. I used the tracking to see it was in china with them at their sitting office. They say they cannot pay for the item as the sale is cancelled but now the $350 item is with them in their sorting office, with no solution. How is it possible to be running such a corrupt business model??

Todo fue mal. Me tomó lo que parecieron décadas para recibir mi compra. Seguí comunicándome con el servicio de atención al cliente y sentí que no les importaba. Bueno, seguro que se preocuparon por tomar mi dinero enviándome recordatorios sobre lo que había en mi bolso. De todos modos, vives y aprendes, y he aprendido que nunca más volveré a comprar con ellos. Debería haberlo sabido tan pronto como sentí que su sitio web se veía feo y barato de mala manera.

Paid over £1200 for a bag that passed their authentication checks , It is counterfeit i even had it checked by another company who said they cannot pass it as authentic. I contacted Vestiaire who said to post it back to them and they would check it again. They then contacted me stating again it was authentic. I went on chat with them many times but kept going around in circles. I asked for a managers contact details and was told no there wasn’t anyone who I could speak to .

I really used to love Vestiaire.. Until last night. I recieved a bag which I paid 1700 euro + 45 euro for Vestiaire checking that the bag was as listing which I would assume is the same as controlling that whats in the listing comes with the bag. Vestiaire failed to do so. The original box and the card/certificate of the bag was missing. Why do I pay 45 euro for shipping and controlling the item? I got back to Vestiaire asking to get a refund for the shipping since some things were missing or to send me what was missing.. (one reason for buying this bag was that original box and certificate was included) They offered me a refund for the bag if I sent it back to them. The thing is im happy with the bag, but I would like the box and certificate or refund.. Im sure a well managed company would offer refund or to send me all the things in the listing especially since Ive paid 45 euro for them making the control.. Im very disappointed with Vestiaire.. Also the 1700 euro bag was really badly packed. It was scrambling around in the box it was sent in without extra packing.. Everyone makes mistakes thats fine but if you are a serious company youll try to resolve it easy and fast and you would have 5 stars instad of 1! Shame on you Vestiaire!
