They let things pass in quality control and you most likely will end up with item that is not in the shape that the seller has stated. Since VC let these pieces go through the inspection. I have yet to get a piece that’s in the excellent condition stated. There’s either tares or stains and smells. 1) This is a sellers platform. The winner is the seller and VC who gets a part of the sale. It is NOT a buyers platform. Sell here and buy somewhere else. They then regret to apologize even though you provide pictures, and give you two options. 1) 10% of a future purchase max 300 2) you send it back to them for a second inspection but they won’t send the item back to you. No. They will put it up for sale so that they can comission again! Seriously. This is bad business.

This company is the worst I’ve ever experienced. It has taken me 3 months to resolve a very simple issue involving a site credit. They response with standard (automated) answers not addressing the specifics & ask the very same questions that I had already explained previously. After it was finally resolved, today I received a email with a new discount code for a site credit. They didn’t even have the correct records that it had already been used. Furthermore the site credit that I received today didn’t even work. Crazy!! I would highly recommend that you do business elsewhere. It’ll save you lots of stress & frustration.

They owe me money, and their customer service is SO frustrating. I have money left in my account from Tradesy before it switched to Vestaire Collective. It was trying to auto deposit to a bank account that doesn't exist anymore. I tried to change the bank information/provide my PayPal address, but it wouldn't work. I reached out to customer service on January 4 asking for help with this problem. After an incredibly frustrating exchange where the customer service representative "Merry Rose A." who was super slow to respond to very basic questions (How will I hear from you after this? Will I be receiving an email? Etc.) and provided no solution to the problem, I was told to give them 2-3 days to figure it out and get back in touch with me. That was a week ago. On January 5th, 6th and 7th, they sent me this generic message through the chat function: Hi Mary, We've not forgotten you! Our teams are still working on a solution for you, and we're really sorry for the unusual delay in getting back to you. We will be in touch within the next 24 hours to resolve your enquiry. We understand it's frustrating to wait, but please don't submit your enquiry again as this can add to the waiting time. Thank you for your patience. The Vestiaire Collective team Today, as it's been four days since I've heard ANYTHING (not even this generic repeat message), I reached back out. Nothing. No response. I was on Tradesy for years, and I made them a lot of money. I even promoted them to my friends and also for free on YouTube just because I enjoyed the platform so much! Vestiaire Collective is terrible with customer service for this very basic issue, so I don't trust that they would take care of my buyers or me as a seller. I'm taking all of my listings off this platform, and I will not be recommending it to anyone. Don't list here. Don't sell here. If they're so reluctant to give me the money I earned, I can't imagine they'll be any quicker giving anyone else their money either.

Do not use this company, they do not want to issue refunds! I've had 2 orders which haven't been sent out and never refund has been issued yet. I have been trying to get in touch with customer services for over a week but I just keep getting automated messages that they are looking into and I'll back within 24 hours, but I never do! This is a very dodgy site!

I used to sold a lot through VC, i am a Trusted Seller there. I listed my Chanel bag and wrote in description: includes certification of authentication (not an authentication card!) When it was sold, i sent the bag with printed authentication certificate! When VC hub got it, they sent me a report that it missing authentication card, it shouldn't be card! I never mentioned the authentication card in the description when i listed it. Now the seller has 72 hours to accept or cancel the order! Certification is not a card! Never will use the platform again until they will solve the problem! I am very disappointed! Tried to contact with their chat twice, sent email twice, there is no response!

Vestiaire offers made by buyers are not binding. You can accept an offer from a buyer and the buyer has 24 hours to purchase the item. Multiple times I've had buyers make an offer that I have accepted and they end up not purchasing the item. Vestiaire should make offers binding so that buyers on make serious offers. Also, Vestiaire sends emails to potential buyers telling them if a seller has accepted an offer for a certain price. Seems like that should be confidential. Sellers don't seem to be protected on this site. I don't plan to sell anything else on this site in the future.

Have sold few items with VC before the pandemic and the experience was okay. However, just tried it as a buyer for the first time and it simply amazes me how easy it is to scam someone on this app. Purchased a bag, the seller has 7 days to ship it. Seller ‘tamar18’ is obviously not interested in making money, because the order was not shipped despite 2 reminders from VC and several chat messages. Excuses are made as to courier offices closed because of holidays, being out of town etc. If you’re making money out of this app and are not concern with your customers, then you better go out of business! Worst is that VC won’t do anything against a fraudster like that; they won’t flag the seller as non-reliable or too slow to ship. It’s a caution for everyone out there!

Valid people they not pay money item delivery to hub but customer its tell me its not delivery but tracking number its tell its delivery! In taht way they cheat me on 6 item wach out people!

Omg I’m in totally shocked and so disappointed!! I used to sell a lot with vestiaire but now I got scammed!!! I sold an item on 08/12 and shipped in on time 10/12. Vestiaire never tracked the shoes that i shipped, and 15/12 they were delivered with fedex, I saw the picture delivered in front of a door. They said they will are canceling the sale since “I didn’t shipped it”. So the buyer has my shoes and I don’t have the money!! Is that a joke???!!! Where I am??? I’m not going to leave it like that, you and not going to scam it, you better send me the money since I have the proof buyer has the shoes and you didn’t track it!!!

AVOID!!!!! Worst customer service I have ever experienced! They just don’t listen and do not help at all. Sent an authentic item, they refused the item saying it was fake and cancelled the sale, i sent them the proof of purchase and the answer was why the incompetent people they have working there though my item isn’t authentic, even with the proof of purchase! Now they want me to pay 15£ to have my item back, otherwise “it will be destroyed in 12 months” (actual words from them) I cant just believe how an app like this is still running and legal. Go to depop ebay or vinted, even if they are not the best, still better that VC

The sale was on 12/9 The item shipped on 12/12 Vestiare provided FedEx tracking number & it delivered with picture on 12/15 Vestiaire didn't tracking the item and assumed the item hasn't been ship in time and they'd been canceled the order and refunded money to customer on 12/15/2022. Can anyone tell me will I get pay for this bag or not? When Vestiaire says they will contact customer for the payment if she want to keep it or return the bag. If you are a customer would you pay after you get a bag or will return the bag. Who fault is it? Who will taking the lost? Will you trust the company likes Vestiaire?

I do not recommend this company, they are thieves. I didn't get money for 4 sold items sent for authentication tracking number shows they have been delivered but they say they didn't receive anything. Just shameless liars. I warn you, don't send anything to vc office located in france because you don’t get your money!

By far the absolute Worst selling experience I have had with over 8k items sold online Just like MANY other sellers ,, I sold and item using VESTIAIRE's label and they never updated the tracking in their system .. Item number - 28114253 .. FedEx tracking number - 3919 5242 7252 Delivered on 12/15/22 and signed for by - JPERROTTA And of course the first message I sent was never answered . I won't hold my breath for the second to be answered

Vestaire Collective is too time consuming to purchase from. They give the sellers too much time to ship items. The sellers have your money for upto 7 days and then the purchase is mailed, and then it goes to Vestaire authenticator, and then it is mailed to you. Over 3 weeks to recieve your items is absolutely unacceptable. Never using again.

Ordered a bag on12/14, unable to use chat feature with seller. 12/16, nothing has shipped! Hope to receive for Christmas. Tradesy was much easier site to use. Tried chatting with customer service! Again not working. After reading these reviews I’m wondering if I’ll ever receive my bag. Not a happy buyer!

Deceptive behaviour and fraudulent advertising. Item purchased showed in both category and photograph to be a crossbody handbag. Item was only a strap, which was noted in the comment section and missed as the date was recognised as the day prior and my purchase the day after however being located in Australia and the comment made in EU effectively meant that it was not visible at the time of purchase.
