I purchased a Mini chanel handbag and was expecting to receive it via FedEx, well it finally arrived, I signed for it and when I went to open the box I found a “Book”!!!!!! I immediately contacted Vestiaire Collection (it’s a painful process, they don’t have a phone number) and FedEx and initiated a case with both companies. FedEx has been very responsive and reassured me such an issue is definitely on the end of Vestiaire. The label on the box was from Vestiaire but like I mentioned there was a book in the box, they don’t even sell BOOKS!!!! I haven’t stopped trying to speak with someone from their company and they have yet to reach out or resolve the situation.

The worst customer service ever!!! They only communicate with the customer to the extent that that wish under their rules without any serious explanation about their decisions! And not reliable with their authenticity evaluation. Such a great idea being so badly treated!

Please be super cautious when buying & selling on Vestiaire. Because they use Hermes as their main courier a lot goes missing or delayed for months & Vestiaire make it extremely difficult for both sides to get a refund requiring passport information?! Is this absurd or is it just me? Anyway now having to go ahead with a small court claim.

This company will scam you out of your money. I shipped an item following a sale, however this is on hold with courier due to missing paperwork that was supposed to be provided by Verstaire. I have been chasing their customer service team, messanger and even the CEO and not one person is bothering to resolve this. Instead i am now out of pocket of a high value item. They are happy to take your money, but when things go wrong - customer service are not quailified or interested in resolving. Poor company to work with - i would recommend you go through another site. PLEASE AVOID VERSTAIRE COLLECTIVE AS THEY WILL SCAM YOU.

worst experience ever! I wish I had gone through the reviews provided on other websites aside from their own!... My item was not accepted! They stole part of my item and sent it partially after I paid for the shipment! I'm so surprised how a company this bad can still work!

Selling FAKES! I purchase a pair of Gucci boots in May 2020 for £547.00. I always pay for VC to authenticate to be safe. I found that I didn't wear the boots as much as expected so listed on VC in Feb 2022 for £370. On receipt of the item the buyer raised an issue with authenticity... I raise with VC that I purchased these boots from them initially and they were very nice and said they would be sure to check that. Today I chased for an update, only to be told the buyer has been refunded... which leads me to believe they've decided the item is not genuine!! This means they sold me FAKE Gucci boots and took my £547 even after apparently checking them in 2020. I will be happy to remove this review if this gets resolved but its important for potential users of VC to see this as it raises worrying questions over other items I have purchased now. I will NEVER purchase from VC again...

This is the worst company I have dealt with. They lost my shipment over one month ago and will not provide a refund. I have used Ebay, Poshmark, RealReal, Mercani, and Vestiaire is the worst of all. Stay away from them!!!!

why dont you put my rewiew this is the 3 time. Warning its a fraud company in the start everything is good after 6 -7 sales nightmare comes. You have not serious sellers not serious buyers they have mollvs in different countries or they doing by them self costumer service won’t help you if the buyer had issues after 71 ours they just fooling around

They are very fast to send news on Vestiaire Collective but the customer care is very very slow and inefficient. I bought a Chanel bag from MyTheresa(professional seller) after 4 days I wanted to return it and they said no. First by chat they said that was sending me a return label and after the email did come I contact them by email and they said no. Simply like this.They lied to me. On their website is clear the message saying that you can return the items from a professional seller in 14 days. Disappointed. I do not advise this store.

Horrible to pay the seller. They simply "forget" to pay you. They have a 5 business day policy payment but I can mention at least 3 times they took more than 1 month to pay because someone forgot to tick payment in the system. Its very amateur!

Beware of the seller “Haute” they sent me a pair of boots described as “fair condition” but the photos looked great. I received the boots, they were brand new and actually laughable. The seams were coming away and the quality of the material was a joke. I emailed Vestiaire and sent pictures, they told me they would take it very seriously with the seller and admitted that they were counterfeit. I received a refund. However, the exact boots are back up for sale with an extra edit to say that some stitching is coming undone. It looks like this seller is able to carry on selling his fake products to the unsuspecting customer. So Vestiaire support selling counterfeit products. I have emailed them again asking why the boots are back up for sale and why is the seller allowed a platform, with a professional seller badge??? Will never ever buy from this horrendous company again.

Thieves. I bought a skirt and a jacket which their QC checked and sent to me. They didn't fit, so i resold them on the platform. The moment i resold them - surprise, they no longer get accepted by their QC. Taking them to court for violation of consumer rights. Reporting them to correspinding authorities and taking them to court. I hope you will be banned all across Europe.

I've purchased Celine Crocodile Handle bag in Dec 28 2021 in price of $1300 for bday gift to mom. My family's nightmare and her worst birthday happened. When I received it at my home country, the item was obviously plastic fake leather fake logo everything was fake. I was shocked because I've paid $15 Authenticity check. They said since the item was sent internationally I have to use personal expense to return this item for 2nd check. Ok so I paid $120 to ship it back to their warehouse in France. The item securely passed CDG Airport custom and arrived at Tourcoing, where their warehouse is located. Chronopost attempted to deliver the item 3times but failed since either the address doesn't exist or they rejected to receive the item. So now it's on the way back to my home country. I've wasted international shipping fee. I've contacted Vestiaire Collective letting them know the situation. Their answer was "because it's crocodile bag it stucked at CDG airport so there is nothing we can do" I've sent them screenshots proving the item passed custom and was at Tourcoing. They ignore this email keep saying "there is nothing we can do since we don't have the item" This whole process has been on going for 3months now but I will never give up. Im looking for a lawyer to sue this company. I will get my money back and get more money on my time and mental damage.

This is an update on my previous review, Vestiaire apparently lost the tag on the leather jacket (definitely on it when I sent it) and negotiated a price reduction of 15% without asking me, it is quite wonderful to pay for their mistakes.... Additionally to the Fendi sandals/flipflops (still no update, not moving on the site of carrier, still only dropped off and not being processed, I walked there again to check if they were picked up, they said everything was the next day) I had sent them a message about the item not moving as they say you should do if there is no update for 48 hours during weekday. I received the usual copy and paste mail that it is forwarded to the relevant department... The reply shows that they have not even read it and sent another copy and paste message back: Dear..... Thank you for your email, and congratulations on the sale of your Leather flip flops! I just want to assure you that, once you've dropped your item at the ParcelShop, the carrier will ship it to the buyer, and the tracking will be updated for each every step of the shipment. Besides, on the side of the buyer, they can contact the carrier to arrange the delivery of the item. I hope that your parcel will be safely received by the buyer soon. If you have any further questions related to this enquiry, simply respond to this email. Best wishes, Christian for Vestiaire Collective. Bear in mind that I gave them the date of WHEN I dropped them off, that the tracking does not seem to update, a link to the tracking that it does not update, a copy of the receipt from the pickup shop, that I can't contact the carrier because officially Vestiaire issued the label and for them is the sender and would they please investigate! It seems they do not even BOTHER to read emails or investigate if their carrier loses and item.

The buyers come to make offers and even accept the offers, then they don't complete the transactions. The buyers are not bound to the offers they make. Terrible platform

I sold a brand new leather jacket Each x Other, it had the shop tag with the price on the sleeve and the designer tag with the tiny little safety pin fastened to the branding tag. 1st of all it was sent by UPS, tracking shows it arrived around 2PM and was signed for, however they claimed it was received around 6PM, then today they claim the designer tag is missing, it wasn't missing when I sent it, I packaged securely and even added tissue paper, I assume they are not careful with the items when unpacking and lost it somehow as in the pictures it is present and it is impossible to wear the item as the shop tag was still on the sleeves and in a closed parcel, it might be possible that the little safety pin opens but the label would still be in the parcel. Apparently they are now "negotiating" a lower price - I am absolutely not pleased about them handling a jacket that cost me £1000 and I sold for £180 so carelessly. So once their negotiation is done, they will sell it even cheaper or send it back to me - without the TAG! (screen shot added) The other item that I sold, Fendi leather sandals, buyer asked me to send later as she won't be home for a while, did so but that was sent with their budget delivery service (Hermes in the UK) because I sold it for under £150, I got the receipt for dropping it off on the February the 15th, today is February the 17th and it still has not been picked up from the drop off shop, the last time this happened the item was lost and it took months and months of them asking to investigate, I had to send scans of a driver's license and utility bills all for them to investigate despite the fact that the tracking showed I had handed it in and it was accepted but then disappeared within the delivery system somehow... I was paid MONTHS later finally after sending countless emails and getting automated replies. I also added a screen shot of the item apparently still being at the drop off shop and receipt of me handing it to the drop off shop. Add to it the countless cases of fraud, their totally non-existant customer service, the fact that buyers often use direct shipping and then switch items and send worthless items back, now Vestiaire damaging items, using unreliable delivery services (the cheapest they can get away with while charging premium), they lie about having dropped their commission, that is only true for very low value items, anything remotely designer that you don't want to sell for peanuts they have raised their prices, I honestly think giving it to charity is a better option than making a company rich that doesn't care about what happens to your items.

Vestiaire is a fraud. I never got my Dior necklace that I paid 500 euros for because customs said that they need to verify if it’s costume or real jewellery. I let Vestiaire know - I must’ve exchange 100 emails with them and they kept reassuring me that they are working on it but each time I would have to be the one to question what had happened and each time the representative would change. End result - never got the necklace, never got a refund. Never ever buying from Vestiaire again and would not recommend anyone else to either
