“Do not touch with a barge pole. Incapable of safely packing anything for delivery, items have rolled around, split and crushed packaging, and spilt allover other items, my house and driveway. Quite a few items just aren't even there! £123 order of household/gardening goods, if which barely any are salvageable and they are refusing a refund. Have got PayPal onto the case! Don't trust Wilko home delivery!!!!!”

“Shocking customer service by Paul the store manager in the penge south London branch. Refused to exchange a faulty item even though it ws a wilko branded product. I had no receipt but showed bank statement. He refused to accept it and wouldn't check his back office system for the receipt saying he didn't have access. He told me I had to call head office. Which I did, only to be told that he does have access and he should have sorted it out instore. Not only did he lie he walked away when I questioned him about my rights as a consumer.”

“Service in the Worksop branch is disgusting. The manager is rude, arrogant and has no customer service skills. If you want till service the staff make you wait and insist that only one till is open even they are hanging about watching 12 people in a queue. Everyone in the queue was complaining and said that Wilkos had gone downhill and the general feeling was that it wasn't a store they would be using in future. The manager is poor representative of Wilkos and me and several others wont be shopping there again. She raised her voice and treated customers like dirt.”

“Staff in customer services are extremely rude. They threaten you, shout at you, and extremely sarcastic. They are defensive and argumentative if you tell them you are going to leave a review about the poor experience you receive. They also refuse to refund you until they receive items back from the courier despite you raising a complaint about abuse from staff. Won't ever shop at a wilko ever again and will be letting people know of my experience this morning.”

“Dangerous exploding glass saucepan lid. Bought a Wilko saucepan yesterday, when I used it for cooking the glass lid exploded with force and shattered glass shards all over my kitchen. Took it back to shop and stressed that the product needed to be recalled urgently because there must be a serious fault, but duty manager told me that more than one needed to be returned before they could recall it. Are they waiting for someone to get injured first? Atrocious and dangerous attitude to a serious safety concern!”

“I'd never shop in wilko again absolutely disgusting behaviour from customer service they do not tell the truth and pass the book to the next person your not allowed to complain to a manager and JEROME who is the CEO will not have anything to do with customers at any cost so I'm led to believe by customer service”

“We visited Ellesmere Port store today. I was very happy with my visit, was able to purchase all on my shopping list great value for money. I was greeted at the till by a lovely pleasant member of staff a lady called sue. She talked myself and my husband through using self scanner she was polite and very professional well done sue.”

“Staff at Watford store really unhelpful and couldn’t care less about customer service. Do not know their products and try to fob you off with incorrect information even the manager. Will not bother using this store again as they are not interested in customer care at all .”

“Wilco Weston-super-Mare, North Somerset, 10/10 for customer service During pandemic I have phoned many local stores with product queries and availability. The staff at Wilco, Sovereign Centre Weston-super-Mare are outstanding, this is now my 1st choice for shopping. Some other local supermarkets are not available to answer customer queries on product description or availability. Wilco staff have always been extremely helpful particularly when many of us self isolate and need telephone advice on products Thank you for all your help and advice.”

“I popped into Wilko Staines. As usual I was in a hurry. I met an angel working there called Jen (I think) What incredibly amazing customer service. She looked after me and helped me find all the but I had forgotten to pack from home. She really blessed me Wilko Staines you have a diamond 💎 working there. Thank you”

“Shopping for many years in wilko.But trying taking tv wall bracket back, because does not fit the TV,so no good to me not.I was ture full saying wall plugs were missing.Would been happy with credit note but no.So lost all confidence in the shop wilkos.so be warned, honest is not all the best policy .”

“I love shopping at Wilko, always good value, especially on Gardening and Wine Making. Sometimes, somethings they sell, don't quite come up to scratch, but have never had a problem, because they cheerily refund, no quibble!”

“Disappointed with goods out of stock after travelling a distance. Untidy shelves (customers leave stuff anywhere) but staff not keeping tabs on the situation. Perhaps they are overworked but I did experience them being helpful. Wanted paint brushes but they were just jumbled on the shelf and I could not determine the price. I used to love this store but it has seriously deteriorated.”
