“I received the contract by e-mail and it contains different data and fees (internet speed, installation fee) than the agent offered me over the phone. The same day I called to say I was cancelling the contract, I was told I would receive an email confirming the cancellation of the contract. After a few days, I received a text message that I had an appointment with an engineer who would install the Internet, which I could not cancel. THEY ARE NOT HONEST, AVOID”
“I had xln small business broadband for several years with a very bad reception.
After many years of complaints I was finally advised to change it for fiberobtics for better reception.
They made three appointments to fix the line which non of them was honored.
Finally I decided to terminate my services so I could move on to another service provider.
It was all agreed and the case was closed, also I was expecting refund for 4 months of being charged without having the services which I did not get a penny,
Today I had email and text saying your broadband going live soon.
I never asked them to give me another service. I had to call the customer service and they had no clue what’s happening.
I had the mist stressful experience since January 2024 and I have a feeling it’s still going to haunt me.
You need to be ashamed of yourself to provide such a poor service to a business who is relying to internet for survival.
Shame on you all.”

“The worst company ever. Biggest mistake don’t join XLN.
We joined them in March and it’s been a nightmare. Nothing seems to be working. All the devices even my till and a simple printer doesn’t work. It keeps dropping. We’ve called them numerous time. All they do is speed check. We’ve told them the speed starts by 73 then drops to 54 then 43 then 56 then 34 and keeps going on and on and on. Had a new router in place but still the same issue. Spent hours on the phone to them explain that’s affecting my business and lost of income as customers are walking away due to not even being able to take payments. It seems like they don’t care. Sick and tired of them.

“No polite words to describe this company, they should be shut down. Unhelpful, unlawful, laugh at you on the phone as they think they can get away with anything.
Don't even have a conversation with these people! we did and now they've 'slammed' our line, they have taken our number and are illegally blocking it from being ported back to us. We are losing business now as we have no phone line or broadband because of their actions.”
“They took more money out of my bank account. In fact £150 which they did not refund. They charged me for installation when they told me it would be free and charged VAT on top of my monthly fee. Worked out to be nearly £45 not quite the £15 a month that they advertised. I cancelled contract due to break of trust and they are still charging me even though I don’t use their WiFi. Avoid at all costs”
“XLN sent an engineer to our business to upgrade the connection box without our request or knowledge, the engineer changed the connection box and left us without broadband, we called xln to report the issue , several days later they sent someone to rectify the problem they created , then charged us £160 for it. they are saying because we reported the problem they caused the charge will stand. absolutely abysmal , avoid this rogue company.”

“We've used them for our small hotel for telephone and broadband and they really don't care once they have your money.
We contacted them to report a fault. The technical department said the problem was with the router - ie their problem but when we asked for a new router the guy said we'd have to buy one. Why do we have to pay to fix something that isn't our fault. Dreadful customer service.”

“I have been a customer of XLN for over 13 years and I recently upgraded my business phone to digital as analogue phone lines are being switched off in 2025. I had the unfortunate experience of not having a live phone at my business for 4.5 weeks. The support and call centre were horrendous, nobody knew what to do and were incapable of responding to my calls and complaints. My business is reliant on a phone and the stress and anxiety this outfit caused me was beyond anything I’ve experienced before. I’ve still not had a resolution and a derisory amount of compensation was turned down twice and I’m now having to pursue a claim through the small claims courts. I would certainly not recommend XLN or Daisy. Communications to anyone. I even went to the top CEO (eventually, with some degree of research.) Still nothing. I cannot wait to see out my contract and be done with them. In all the worst customer experience I’ve ever had and I’ve been in business for 35 years. AVOID!”
