“We placed an order with this company a month ago and it arrived in about a week, but one item (£7.99) was missing from the order. I have contacted customer support five times about the missing item and only received a response once that simply asked me to clarify which item was missing (even though I included that info in all of my emails). Customer support is absolutely terrible and I am now going to have to take up the issue with my bank as the company is obviously not going to refund us. I will never order from this company again and wouldn’t recommend that anyone else does either!”

“Couple of things I couldn't get elsewhere, but around £12 of my order was missing - part of this was marked on the receipt with one item crossed ojt, another item just not packed. Emailed three times since I received the package for help on an refund, but nothing. I mentioned I was doing a payment dispute in my last email, and they replied ...to the payment company! If you're ordering from them, make sure to take a photo of the box when it arrives and your receipt!”

“0 stars would be more accurate, but that isn't an option. placed order on 1st jan, expected a delay, but not 2 weeks. after a week, got an email saying my order shipped; this was fake news, as no such thing happened. after 4 days, i contacted customer service for a tracking number, they asked for my order number, which was contained in the subject line of the email; hard to know if it was a stalling tactic or plain ignorance, but i provided it again. no one answered. a few days later, my order appeared with 3 things missing, one expired item, and a wrong item. their policy is to report within 48 hours to receive a refund. it's been 2 weeks, no one has been in touch, and no refund has appeared. if you want to order items that are out of stock and don't care about money, go ahead and order. otherwise, stay away. shambolic.”

“This rating is for customer service and not the products. What should have been a simple fix to a missed item in my order was never resolved even after going back and forth with American Candy Co. for nearly 2-months with broken promises that I will get the missing item that I ordered. Not just that I didn't get the missing item, I also paid for it and never got a refund. I will not be ordering from American Candy Co. again for this!”

“My reviuw have to be a negative. Zero communication. Parcel arrived OK, but 1 item (cereal) was missing from parcel. Price 8.99 so we wrote 22 nd of November -no answer and then 2 nd of December no answer. We lost 8.99 pound nobody does anything.”

“Was very disappointed with our latest order from American Candy. Have ordered before with no problems. However some of our items were out of date - not listed as such on the website. Our moon pies were out of date mere days after we made the order and before the order was shipped. Our mountain dew was out of date MONTHS ago. Very disappointed - short shelf life I can understand due to importing but I would expect the products to still be in date on delivery”

“Ordered some american sour skittles because they blow ours away. Arrived on time, there were the proper ones with the sugar. Probably contains something deeply illegal outside of the US, but I'll take the hit for these.”

“I only recieved half of the products I ordered. I contacted customer services to be told the rest of the products were delayed and would be sent out tomorrow, that was over 2 weeks ago and STILL haven't recieved my order. I have sent another email to customer service to ask for a refund and have just been ignored! Terrible customer service and will never order again!”
