“Brilliant customer care. I ordered a shelf which although was beautifully finished transpired to be too big for me and had to return it . They accepted my return and gave me a full refund even though because of courier mistake, they hadn’t actually received it all back ( only brackets arrived). The company didn’t quibble and gave me a full refund immediately. Their timber products were beautifully finished and I will certainly buy from this company again. I especially like their garden furniture.”

“Thank you so much for our garden furniture - we are delighted with it. It was easy to assemble, looks smart and contemporary and is comfortable and practical. We had a slight issue with one of the planks which was dealt with immediately and very efficiently. Great company and product.”

“The shelves looked great and seemed to be good quality on the whole and the brackets were nice and chunky to help keep the shelves sturdy. Had an issue with one of the holes in the shelves being drilled at a slight angle but they have resolved this for me so would recommend using.”

“Really pleased with garden table initially but after only one weekend the wood is splitting and has deep cracks in it. Customer service do not view wood cracking and splitting after only two days use as a problem. I was intending to purchase benches too but now changed my mind . Disappointed with quality.”

Regarding the splits in the table, wood is a natural material and naturally expands and contracts with changes in weather. This characteristic is common in all solid wooden products of this size. Rest assured, the structural integrity of our furniture remains unaffected, and any splits that occur will naturally shrink as the weather cools down. To address any potential sharp or splintered edges that may arise in extreme temperatures, we offer furniture care packs. “The mantle I ordered unfortunately came damaged due to something happening in transit. I emailed Ben Simpson Furniture and a very helpful lady called Laura had another made for me and sent out within three days. The damaged mantle was collected the day after I contacted them. Unfortunately the new mantle also arrived damaged due to taking a knock, again presumably in transit. I emailed again and was given the option of a 50% discount or another mantle. Since the damage wasn’t so noticeable as before I opted for the refund. I’m happy with the quality of the mantle but I’m very impressed with the level of customer service I received.”
