“A hidden fixings shelf was purchased as a Christmas present and the recipient is very pleased with it. It did take a long time to arrive and was late for the 25th! However on balance it was a good purchase!”

“Love the shelf. Only problem is that one of the brackets is not at 90 degree angle so had to pack under the shelf a it to make it level. Otherwise just the job.”

“Communication and pre-delivery service offerred by Ben Simpson Furnture was very good, and the after-sales service was also very efficient and effective. “The shelves looked great and seemed to be good quality on the whole and the brackets were nice and chunky to help keep the shelves sturdy. Had an issue with one of the holes in the shelves being drilled at a slight angle but they have resolved this for me so would recommend using.”

“The mantle I ordered unfortunately came damaged due to something happening in transit. I emailed Ben Simpson Furniture and a very helpful lady called Laura had another made for me and sent out within three days. The damaged mantle was collected the day after I contacted them. Unfortunately the new mantle also arrived damaged due to taking a knock, again presumably in transit. I emailed again and was given the option of a 50% discount or another mantle. Since the damage wasn’t so noticeable as before I opted for the refund. I’m happy with the quality of the mantle but I’m very impressed with the level of customer service I received.”

“Very good product, good quality, cannot fault. However Parcel Force are absolutely useless and let you down. It took 5 separate trips on consecutive days before Parcel Force were able to successfully make a delivery, three times they failed to locate the address (despite having previously delivered Ben Simpson parcel to the same address), no advance warning to ensure that someone was in to receive parcel for the 4th occasion. Tried to get parcel delivered to a different address but that didn't work.”

“My experience with this brand has been one of the better ones I've had. The quality of the product is very good, their communication is excellent, and there were no missed expectations. I do have two suggestions ... 1) In my opinion, it pays to order swatches with wood colours before you order, as these products are pine and the stains aren't perfectly represented online. But £10 is a lot and I feel this should be reduced or free. 2) It would be great if there we assembly videos. Short ones for each range as the brochure covers a variety of products ... and once you've made a hole, it's hard to remove it :)”

“The quality of the shelf and fixing were of a very high quality but I did struggle a little bit to get the shelf flush and lined up with the holes. It would have been better to have some sort of template for the installation in my opinion but overall very happy.”

“The floating wooden shelves we ordered arrived ahead of schedule and very well packed. Although they were easy to install the shelf does not fit perfectly against the wall. i suspect that the pre-drilled hole is not deep enough. Apart from that they look really good and we are very pleased with them.”

“Purchased floating shelves, arrived in good time and we are really pleased with the quality and finish. I think the shellfs should come with 4 support rods per shelf as opposed to two to add extra strength ( Would have been haply to pay more for the option of 4 rods per shelf if given the option) but 2 seem to be doing the job. Happy customer keep up the good work.”

“My floating shelf looks great on the wall. It arrived fast and as described. It was pretty easy to put up with the adjustable off center support. It would have been easier if the hole was centred in the shelf. 2 out of 4 of them were 5mm out in a 50mm wide shelf.”
