“Really excellent customer communication. Items well priced. Only given 4 stars because the gate we purchased was quite badly warped. We have wet it and fixed it in position with blocks of wood, so hopefully will be ok.”

“Ordering was easy. Delivery on line was quoted as 5 weeks but just over 2 was later they wanted to deliver it but I was not ready. So we have re scheduled another date which will be confirmed next week.

“Initial delivery date was changed. Elbec copied me into an email to Shire informing them of the new date, but Shire also emailed me advising I had to book through their system. I tried to reply to say a date was already set, but their email was no-reply so I booked and got a date two days later.
When the summerhouse arrived, their driver was cheerful and friendly, but when he'd gone I discovered they'd sent the wrong base (6' x 4' not 6' x 6'). I contacted elbec who dealt with the problem quickly and efficiently; a week later Shire delivered the correct base.
So I wouldn't rate Shire too highly for customer service, but elbec were good.”

“Very good pergola for the price easy enough to put up,but you need two to put up the frame rest can be done with one person,the instructions didn't say what gap between the lats it's 40mm thought it was a bit to high cut the legs down by 9 inch just my personal preference added some fence panels to make it more private”

“I purchased this product based on price and I knew in doing so that their would be compromises. It is a little flimsier that a more expensive summer house, however, the cost of a little extra bracing is far cheaper than paying for the thicker wall panel size. Overall, constuction was straight forward, there was an issue with the boards having a gap, around the window, which was resolved with replacing a few of these toung in groove boards with a slightly wider board (a small cost). The only other issue was the beading around the windows was too short. I contacted Elbec and they sent me a package with the correct size beading - which is now in place, so good customer service for Elbec. I still have the roof to go on; I have chosen to replace the supplied felt with corrugated metal for longevity and added strength, so for just less than 2000k I have a 3 x 4m summer house. Pretty good value if you ask me.
I am very happy with the end result, once I paint it and get the roof and facings on it, sure it will look fab.
If you are after good value for money and your are a handy person with tools, go for this.”
