“As we haven't put the pergola together yet, I can't say how good it is hence the four stars. The wooden parts look very substantial, so hopefully it will be fine.”

“To be honest this didn't start off as Elbec Garden Buildings fault. The delivery people from Forest Garden gave me a three day timeline in which they were going to deliver. I phoned up on the last day (as I was going away) to check they were delivering that day. They said they were going to deliver but didn't. So I contacted them to ask them not to deliver as I was away that night. They said they wouldn't deliver, but did. They left the three planters I bought at the front of the house in full view of the road. They said they left it at the side of the house which was a lie as I live in a converted garage which is attached the the garage next door i.e there is no accessible side to my property. I managed to get someone to take a look at the items and they found that they were incomplete so Forest Garden did not check the products before going out. I ordered planters. Two of them had no sides, base or front. The other had no screws. Then it takes two weeks whilst I am on holiday to try to get them picked up. Eventually they were picked up and Forest Garden said that I would have to contact Elbec for a refund which I have done. The useless planters were picked up over a week ago and still no refund nor correspondence to let me know what is going on. So I have made a chargeback through my card issuer to try to get my money back. I ordered on 31st July. It is now 27th August and I have no planters and no refund. Really bad service hence the reason for the 1 star review.”
“The playhouse is a fantastic addition to our home, providing hours of entertainment for my 4-year-old and 1-year-old children. It is well-constructed and straightforward to assemble, taking us about two days to complete. Given that we have a smaller garden, this playhouse is a great choice as my 4-year-old loves the ladder leading to the upper level. I also appreciate the design feature that prevents the upper window from opening for added safety.
There are a couple of minor concerns, however. The wood is treated with an orange stain that has transferred onto my children’s shoes/clothing. While this was not an issue for my 4-year-old, who wore old trainers, my 1-year-old’s first shoes are now stained orange. Additionally, the door hinge is not very robust and tends to shift out of place with enthusiastic use by my 4-year-old . I anticipate that the door catch will need replacing in the near future due to door regularly shifting out of place.
Despite these minor issues, the playhouse is a great purchase, and I would definitely recommend it!”
“Roofing felt was damaged on arrival, made a note on delivery note. Had to go and buy a roll, contacted company who said they would not reimburse cost. Then waited 2 weeks for them to send replacement felt!!, by which time shed was up and roof done. Poor service. Wont use company again”
“Following the directions on the ytwp papers we found it quite easy to install paint tokk two days then tne summer house whent up then shed fifelt roof fixing and glall to Finnish of, found it was a very good perchis”
“Please with the final result, it is definitely a two handed project. No instruction paperwork left with materials which made it fairly challenging! we did get there in the end though after switching a couple of sections around”
