“Further to my other review, I can now say I have received excellent customer service and apologise for any unfair criticism. Having e-mailed customer care I received a telephone call explaining the situation and to expect delivery in a couple of days. Lovely lady took time to explain everything which was greatly appreciated as at this difficult time I think we are all more anxious. When my order arrives I hope to be able to review that and give it 5 stars as well.”

Although delivery took a little longer than anticipated we have received excellent customer service and kept up to date with progress. “Ordered a 44mm logs tunstall 10' by 10' from Elbec. Had a couple of issues regarding delivery date due to Covid but they worked hard to resolve and we ended up only waiting a further 2 weeks which was acceptable to us. The build took 4 of us a day to get it up, and watertight with me finishing the floor and treating it twice the following day. Top Tip- During the build, keep measuring corner to corner to ensure it remains square or else the logs start to not sit correctly. We have had loads of comments on how nice it is, instructions were ok, needed to read them a few times to make sure we got it right. The only issue I have is the actual delivery. I wrongly thought it would come off the lorry in a single pallet, however the driver had to handball it off and in turn I had to move it into my garage until we were ready to build it. Just something to be aware of. Plenty of spares were included in case of issues with parts, very good.”
“Your driver was very helpful, placed the goods close to the back entrance of my property, he was very cheerful and made my day a little brighter, he was punctual with the delivery time and despite being busy had time to talk with me for a minute or so, thank you, please pass my thanks to your driver.”
“I purchased a shed but at the end of the online transaction did not she as completed. Consequently I went through the procedure again. As soon as that was completed I received a number of emails stating that I had purchased 2 sheds. I contacted the company the following morning and explained what had happened and they cancelled the second order straight away. Approx 10 minutes after finishing that conversation I was contacted by another staff member who queried the 2 purchases. I explained again what had happened and they immediately arranged for a full refund for the unwanted shed. I’ve yet t receive the shed but cannot comment on it it but the customer service is absolutely superb.”
“The online order process was simple and the Shire Hampton summerhouse arrived in perfect condition at the specified time (I received a text and email the day before giving a four hour delivery window). The product quality is very good for the price. It took two of us around six hours to build - we’ve both got average diy skills. I recommend painting all the parts beforehand as some of them are difficult to do once glass is fitted for instance.”
