The shoes came with some glue on one of them. I asked if there was a way to get it off and was given a generic response about returns. I had been hoping to keep the shoes, but decided to return them since that’s the only information given. Also, at the time of purchase I thought the shoes were made in Austria and I was saddened to learn that they are made in China with little transparency as to the ethics of the factories.

Obviously production is good. But logistics are terrible. Not even one package had correct address stamped. Also not all address fields are included on package so local delivery service refuses to deliver

The quality looks fine - it's one of the reasons I initially bought the shoes, but the size runs small! It fits like those from China. Also, the back of the shoe needs to be a bit higher, otherwise it acts like a flip-flop. I'm a long time customer of Merrill's. Look at their similar style to see how the shoe should be designed.

I ordered in summer cotton slippers model Azusa, I was very disappointed from the poor quality. After few weeks the sole was worn & the textile inside the slippers was torn. I hope the winter slippers are from better quality!

Im Nachhinein liest man dann, dass man sehr viel Geld für Chinaware bezahlt. Das bekomme ich woanders günstiger und das war nicht das was ich wollte.

Sehr geehrter Herr Robert, vielen Dank für Ihr Feedback zu unseren Produkten. Unsere Merino Schuhe u. Ä. sind Made in Austria und Assembled in Vietnam und China. Der einzigartige Stoff wird in unserer Textilproduktion in Brixlegg - Tirol – Österreich gestrickt und gewalkt, die Wertschöpfung des Artikels liegt also in Österreich. Das Zusammenfügen der Einzelteile wie Stoff und Sohle, sowie des Zubehörs, erfolgt in Vietnam und in China. Der Grund hierfür ist die sehr große Nachfrage an unseren Produkten, wir haben hier in Europa keinen Schuh-Hersteller, mit ausreichenden Kapazitäten, um die nachgefragten Mengen zu bedienen. Unser Geschäftsführer persönlich besucht die Fabrik in PRC zweimal jährlich und gewährt, dass es eine Fabrik ist, die allen westlichen Standards entspricht, sie ist neu gebaut und die Arbeitsbedingungen sind einwandfrei.
