“I recently purchased car insurance through this company after finding them as the cheapest option on a comparison site. Unfortunately, my experience was far from satisfactory.
After paying for the initial cover, I was shown a breakdown comparing the standard legal cover and courtesy car cover with the extra cover offered for an additional cost. To my surprise, the included cover that I assumed was accurate based on the initial quote turned out to be incomplete and misleading. This information was only made clear after I had already paid.
I decided to add on the extra benefits to ensure adequate cover, but the process was frustrating. There was no confirmation screen to review my updated policy before payment; the payment went through automatically. As a result, my policy became significantly more expensive, and I felt tricked by a company and website that lacked transparency and honesty.
I cancelled my policy the next day, as I couldn't trust a company with such misleading practices. If they can't provide clear information upfront, how could I trust them to handle a claim fairly? It’s concerning to think what the experience might have been like if I had stayed with them.
I wouldn't recommend this company to anyone. Transparency and trust are essential in choosing an insurer, and this company fell short on both fronts.”
“So far very disappointed! Despite two separate ‘chats’ still not received my Activation email to confirm I have insurance. This doesn’t bode well if I had to make a claim. Considering exercising my right to cancel during cooling off period. My wife’s policy is activated but I shall cancel both.”

I tried to speak with someone regarding a no fault claim assistance only to suffer neigh on ten minutes of how many forms I would need to sign and agree to before I got to the end of this rubbish I hung up. rubbish lack of service from start to finish!”
“Charged significant extra premium for having a withdrawn £0 "claim" with a previous insurer. It was clearly not a claim as it had been withdrawn and clearly had cost the insurer nothing. Same as if i'd not been a customer at all. Not sure why I present a significantly greater risk in this situation. No-one could explain why - just "that's what our insurer says".”

“I don’t feel the site is clear & I paid £108 for extras I didn’t need or want. I am still waiting for a refund. I had wanted to cancel the whole policy, which doesn’t start till Jan 25 but that would cost me £50 in “start up fees” won’t be going for the cheapest next year, proof cheap isn’t always the best one.”

“Do not go near this company. They cancelled my insurance after 5 days and held over £300 of my money, they said they cancelled my insurance because I didn’t confirm which car I had (for the third time) via an email and text they said they sent. Once I asked them for evidence of this they had none, I’ve spent hours on this and now have no insurance and money is stuck in pending and trying to get the money back from the bank. You also can’t phone anyone and customer service don’t fire to answer you on live chat. I’m glad I didn’t have to claim insurance with them as the service has been worse than I’ve ever had with any other company and I’ve not even made a claim I just want be insured! Going back with a company with good customer service”

“Not easy to deal with and slow to react. Felt like a money spinner with vast and varying charges when things go wrong early on and the best option is to cut ties. Made the mistake of trying to save money on contents insurance and should of gone with a more well known and reputable insurer who are easier to contact and more accommodating.”
“Very unhelpful, I tried to insure with this company as my old one had lapsed and explained the reason why and they just sent a text message saying I had to find alternative cover. Very odd because the reason was completely justified and I've been insured for 30+ years without any problems.”
