Smooth talking salesman send out meaningless formularised computer generated quotes with powerful clauses allowing them to undertake product and service changes based on unforseen site conditions that could have been properly assessed if they had visited my site in the first place. What a waste of my time over the last few weeks.”

“I received 3 names of companies from Solar Quotes, who were going to contact me. One never did, despite reminder (Sunwise). Another, which was based 150km away, was around 50% more expensive using same inverter (factored in travel and uninstall old system). Third company provided, a local, was quick to come out, but had to be chased up 3 days later for quote, which to me meant unreliable. None of the 3 won the job. Two other local companies, l sourced, also quoted, both were better on pricing for identical Inverter and Solar Panels... so in summary only 1 name supplied was useful, but l got more professional service from the two l contacted personally. One of those is installing next week.”

“Two guys visited our home. The first one was very impressive with his knowledge and presentation. However he didnt leave his details and failed to send a quote. We emailed Finn - no reply. We emailed the company we thought he was from (we had thrown out the post-it with his details on) but no reply from them. We want solar installed ASAP but the service is sadly lacking. The 3rd company whoever they were didnt make contact.”

“To me after a bit of research seems solar quotes on the north coast are racketeering IMO, i have no gone with Jessup`s Solar Squad , very informative , no problems with questions and have given me 2 quotes just from one company , got 1 from solarquotes and lies from another .
Very disgusted.”

We were very concerned to hear about your experience. Thank you for the chat on the phone earlier, I am glad you were able to find a company that suited your installation requirements. As I mentioned all of the installers on the SolarQuotes network are extensively vetted, I can assure you if we could confirm any racketeering/cartel behaviour we would promptly remove offending companies from our network. Any evidence you can provide would be most helpful in our investigation.
