“Sternglas remains a strong choice for people keen on simple, minimal yet stylish design watches. Their carefully crafted watches paired with robust movements of mostly Japanese origin offer a great opportunity to confidently select a well made time piece. Sternglas’ story as a company and their diverse team makes it their products even more impressive. In my opinion, Sternglas should provide more detail and education about their watches, especially highlighting any limitations that may be important for first time customers. Overall, the purchasing experience was great and the detailed shipment tracking system was very helpful.”

“While the securing of, stabilizing of, and presentation of the watch(es) in the Sternglas box definitely needs a reimagining, the watches (I purchased the olive dial Berlin and the black dial Sedius) are wonderful. Also, the delivery was punctual.”

“I bought a Marus with a black face and black rubber strap and an automatic movement. I wanted a nice quality watch with an easy to read dial for when I go sailing. The Marus looked like the right watch and I wasn´t disapointed. It arrived nicely protected and in good order. The finish is really nice and it sits well on my wrist looking durable and chunky. So far the automatic movement has performed reasonably well, gaining about 5 seconds every 24 hours, I once had a Rolex submariner that did the same. It might sound a little petty in this price range, but if I had to find fault, the rotating bezel, which has a great quality feel, is, very slightly, misaligned. I mean VERY slightly only a pain in the "you know what" like me would notice and the plain black rubber strap that I wanted wasn´t available. I feel embarrassed to mention these two things because, overall, this is a very lovely watch at a great price point. Nice work Sternglas I shall certainly buy another from your range.”

“I purchased the Hamburg Chronograph to add to my collection. I do a lot of sailboat racing and ordered this with orange strap so when it gets wet it will be fine. The quality of the eatch is very high at this price point. It looks good and if it holds up as well as I believe it will it will be a great addition.”

“This was a bit of a step into the unknown as thi is a very young company in wrist watches. I wanted to have a look at the watches and travelled to a jewellers in the UK who were advertised as a supplier. They actually had no watches that they could show me. However they were happy to order in anything for me to look at. Not great as it would have meant another travel to a city that I don't normally frequent. Sternglas, you may want to rethink here and make sure your stockists do have stock! I decided to take a gamble and ordered a watch from Sternglas via the internet. I was a little concerned given I was not sure of import tax regulations post Brexit and some stories of materials being held in customs with unexpected charges etc. I need not have worried the watch was delivered in 3 days via DHL, no hold up or extra charges. Brilliant! The watch is really nice, better than I expected. I am a happy customer. I would order again this way. Others in the UK may have the same reservations as I had originally, just don't be put off these are really nice watches and very affordable with excellent delivery service. Well done Sternglas.”
